Food is always hot and fresh. Not everything tastes the same like at other buffets. It's a good sized buffet lunch or dinner time. We;ve been pretty much ordering it to go these days, since we both pretty much eat the same items when we are there. The portions are good and the egg foo young is AWESOME!!!

The best buffet in town. I have been there so many times. There is always a variety of tasty food including desserts and fruits. Everytime I want to eat different types of food, that is my first place to go. People who work there are very hospitable. The boss is very friendly. Most importantly, it is very affordable!

This was my first time experiencing this place and I can't possibly say enough good things about it... Food, service, atmosphere and friendliness is (A+). If the price was higher I definitely would of paid it! Can't wait to see what goodness is on the weekend and dinner buffet .😋

Great food, good variety on the buffet and prompt beverage/table service. A must try when in Waite park.

Food taste good. Fried rice though looks brighter then my kids toys. Supper yellow, artificial color. Not sure if they can’t keep up with demand or they wait on purpose before put more food out.

This is one of our favorite Chinese buffets in the area. Our family goes here every time we are in the area, food is always fresh and buffet always full, despite always being fairly busy! If you’re looking for a great Chinese buffet in the St. Cloud/Waite Park area, give this place a shot!

Everything taste great. I loved the different varieties of food they have. If you want crawfish come on the weekends they make it so delicious and will have you craving more! Very clean environment and nice staff. If you’re looking for a good Chinese buffet to eat at in the area make sure you stop and try China Star. :)

02/15/2023: This is my first time in this restaurant and I loved everything about it, from chicken to pasta and desert. 04/27/2023: Nice, clean and great restaurant. Friendly staff, big portions, tea is good as well. I usually drink tea than pops, veg rolls are exceptional. They are the best in St. Cloud.

15.99 for all you can eat buffet from 5:00 to 9:00 that is awesome. Affordable. This all the food is fresh and tastes great. Are the kind of businesses we need to support. Service was great. I recommend a little oysters. Fried shrimp. The peanut butter chicken. Peanut Thai chicken I think it was. The sweet and sour chicken is great. Honeydew was amazing, fresh, tasted good and sweet. The barbecue chicken is amazing and fresh. The crab tastes great.

Food was good. Just wished they can serve out food quicker. The food that you want to eat to come out is a long wait. I love that there was good varieties to choose from. They can also do better at the salad bar, it was just boring plain. Yet again... Keep up with the pase. It gets busy packed with the community that lives there.

A great buffet. The variety of food was good and had some items you don't find at most buffets. My son tasted the coconut shrimp and said that they are the best he has ever had. The staff was friendly and prompt. The restaurant was very clean and busy. New food was consistently coming out of the kitchen.

Everyone is so incredibly attentive and pleasant. The food is EXCELLENT. I have been to several Chinese restaurants and buffets all over the country when traveling. The food here is the BEST CHINESE food I have had the pleasure of eating. Even with a large crowd, the food is always replenished when the various wonderful dishes are running low. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!!! The waitress, YO YO IS WONDERFUL

Stopped by for a quick bite, from out of town. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Food is delicious.

I saw the reviews and I thought to visited while I was in the town and I got really disappointed to see Everything is frozen food heated in the microwave, this is not any near Chinese food, no fried shrimp for a while until I asked them and still took them 10 min to bring them out, not to mention they are very little!! And the coconut shrimp were empty inside!!. Service was slow, they didn't fill the sodas fast enough and picked the plates until we had a lot on the table. only thing I liked was the ice cream. The price is overpriced and drinks are not even included. Lesson learned not to go by the reviews. Definitely not recommending this buffet.

The food and service here are incredible. There aren't many Chinese restaurants with a buffet that taste this good. And our service was very good. Usually the servers at these buffets don't do rounds that often. And when my daughter spilled her poo he was there immediately to clean it with a smile. The building and tables on the other hand needs a little attention. Overall very good 👍.

Been coming to China star for 15+ years. It's always a great experience. Buffet has a nice selection, they keep the buffet nice and stocked and fresh! The consistency is great, I go there with no doubt in my mind it will be hot delicious food! They treat my 5 year old son amazing too, numerous times they have given him a toy car or something like that. Highly recommend.

This was a great place to go eat at one time. This last time I went the food was horribly tasteless. Chicken and broccoli (that you can get at just about any Chinese restaurant ) was the worst tasting thing ever. BBQ chicken was not right with itself. The spicy chicken (that is norm spiced up with jalapenos) was spiced with I am sure tabasco sauce. I will NEVER be going back! And this was my favorite not that long ago sucks!! Oh and two people was over $40 bucks FYI.

The Sunday Brunch option of beef & broccoli was excellent and far surpassed other regional examples. The entire selection was fresh, and the staff were continually updating and refilling the offerings. The clams were great, and the salmon was tender and flavorful. During the spring and summer, we try and go at least once a month. The restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is nicely subdued, even when busy. I enjoy a dining environment that allows you to talk during the meal and be easily heard. This provides that. 5 Stars, thanks again!

But far the best Asian food I've ever had, and it's a full buffet complete with all the favs. Really worth a 1 1/2 hr trip just to eat there. Wish they were closer though. Their black pepper chicken tops any I've ever had and I am an entrepreneur of Asian food. But don't take my word for it... I highly recommend taking the trip to try it for yourself.

This is a really good buffet. I enjoyed the entire experience. The service was fast, refilling my beverage before it actually hit empty. The food was either good or delicious. The chow fun noodles and the honey chicken really stuck out to me as delicious.

I love this place. I was gifted with a calendar. They have great hospitality and very sweet. The owner and employee are amazing and kind people.

Serve great quality in reasonable price. This place is perfect if you want to get varieties of food. ❤️

The food was so amazing! The rice was perfect! My kids love the pizza here. The cream cheese wontons and the honey chicken was so good! Also peanut chicken as well as the donuts! We had an out of town guest and they were impressed! Definitely coming back

Been coming to this restaurant since I was just a kid and I still love it! My girlfriend and I just can’t get enough, definitely a must try if you’re in the Saint Cloud area.

Food was good, prices for buffet went up to $12.99 for lunch this is senior price as well. Also a percentage now for tipping is also added in bill. Not worth it if you're watching you're carbs. My friend and I still enjoyed the food we ate.

First off love this place! They always have fresh food and are always bringing out new stuff. They have so many options and different kinds of foods. Staff are so friendly! We go like once a week, we love it so much :)

Me and my girlfriend absolutely LOVE this places! It’s definitely our go to when we’re hungry and don’t feel like cooking. The staff is amazing and very nice to their customers! Highly recommend!
