    I wish I could give negative stars. On the app and on Google states that this store closes at 9pm. On Friday closing shift 6/10/22 the workers closed early to get off early. Typical when you leave a bunch of teenagers with no adult supervision/ proper management and lack of training. This is the second time I have been to this store and it’s closed earlier then stated online. I placed my order online at 8:45pm and when I arrived at 8:50pm I found that the store was closed and door was locked. I was not going to leave without food or a refund. I stood outside for 8 minutes knocking the whole time meanwhile each worker gazed at me, shook their heads as if I couldn’t read that they were closed, and continued to clean. Not a single care was given. Finally when the cashier realized there was online orders it clicked in her head that maybe that’s why I refused to leave. After 8 minutes the cashier opened the door I grabbed my order and left. Not a single care or apology was given. I was not going to stand there and express my frustration to a bunch of teenagers who lack customer service because of improper training. TRAIN YOUR STAFF! Update your hours online if this location closes earlier than stated! To put the cherry on top of it all, when I arrived home I found the only ingredients on my chicken pesto flatbread were cheese and pesto when I had paid for extra chicken and extra pesto. RIP OFF! This is the worst cafe and something needs to be done with the girls working closing shift 6/10/22.

    UPDATED 10 April 2022: As before, the smoothies were delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. ---------------------------- Ordered three smoothies for the family and they were all delicious!! Consistency of the smoothies was perfect. Flavor was great! Staff was very courteous! Will definitely go back.

    I’m an up and coming rapper. There was a rude, disrespectful, girl with curly hair i think her name was olger or something. she was snippy at me when taking my order yo, and she dipped her paws in my jelly bunch smoothie. on another occasion, i ordered a jelly bunch smoothie, and a super green flatbread, and the bread they used was a light brown. i do not appreciate the false advertising, and on top of that, the flatbread was C. O. L. D.(cold). will not be coming here again, olgerrrrrrrr

    Place order thru the app for pickup in cafe. Watched the attending cook yell there was no chicken prepped and she proceeded to scrape the bottom of the chicken pan and pick up pieces from around the pan area to put a few pieces in a tray to heat. I asked to wait so I could have a chicken chipotle flatbread without being filled with lettuce and no chicken. The cashier said there was enough chicken and said my order would be up. I watched as the cook did her best to make the order. Well..let’s just say it was a yummy lettuce and bacon with a few pieces of chicken chipotle flatbread. I would’ve preferred to wait and after insisting 3 times, I regret just not canceling my order and going to another location.

    I visited this location exactly 1 hour before close. Emily was sweeping and had a attitude before I even ordered. Probably Bc she was ready to leave. If you don’t want to work in fast food get another job. She made my smoothie and it was very watery so I asked for a remake and I noticed she wiped her nose with her hand so I saw she was about to continue without washing her hands. I asked her to wash her hands and she argue back-and-forth to me why she thought she didn’t need to wash her hands. This is not acceptable by any means . I will not be returning to this location. Another worker made my smoothie and wrap. But Emily needs to understand health code standards and customer service.

    Placed an online order for in store pick up. Waited about10 minutes before going into the cafe. When I walked in the place was packed with people waiting. I headed over to the online order pickup area and saw my receipt. There were 2 orders in front mine. I only ordered one smoothie so I thought it would be no issue? About 30 to 40 minutes after ordering I noticed the order in front of mine were not ready either? Who knows how long they waited? I gave up waiting on my order and left the cafe without my smoothie. They had one person making all the smoothies and approximately 20+ ppl waiting for their orders? Very disappointed & Will not return

    Just had the worst experience ever at the Stadium Dr Wake Forest location. After I asked to speak to the manager on duty Jessica, she continued to ignore me and began asking customers who walked in behind me if they needed help. I placed an online order for two smoothies that was estimated to be ready at 4:11pm and it was now 4:30 and only one of the drinks was ready when I arrived. I asked for her assistance again and this is when she finally decides to come approach me but does so in a combative and argumentative manner. Her voice was elevated, and her tone was very harsh. She said they were short staffed and rudely and sarcastically asked me if I needed a job in an attempt to embarrass me in front of all the patrons in the store. I replied that I was employed, in upper management. She responded she was too and walked away. I hop on my phone and start to look up the corporate info and ask her name. She starts yelling at me again, screaming my name across the room saying,“that’s you?”I ignored what seemed to be her desperate attempt to trigger me and get me out of character which would have in the end justified her behavior. She walked over with the drink I was waiting on for the past 20 mins and slammed it on the counter. I told her I no longer wanted it and asked for a refund. She said she could not refund me because it was an online order and told me to have a nice day. This woman should not be in management, let alone in the customer service industry. If this store is really short staffed I can see why. I’m surprised there are any employees left. If she speaks to a paying customer that way, I can imagine how she talks to her team when no one is around. Down right deplorable. I was a regular customer at this location, visiting quite often. I will never visit again.

    6/20/23 night shift the lady’s Mora, Bella, and Victoria did such An amazing job there customer service skills were amazing they made our food which was a chicken quesadilla and smoothies amazing they did such a great job!!!

    The night crew is atrocious. There has been a few times that my order was wrong and today when I ordered a chicken cesar wrap it was poorly assembled and had too much sauce on it to the point where it was literally dripping wet with sauce. The morning crew does a good job, the only time I have had issues with this location was in the evening.

    Got their island green smoothie it was so good!! Added a few extra things and everything was right. Would recommend to anyone wanting something good and healthy also refreshing! The best smoothie I’ve had.

    First time to this location in Wake Forest. The server attendance were awesome friendly and very attentive. I ordered a wrap and the mango smoothie. I enjoyed both of them immensely.

    Order was missing food, called back to get a refund for the food missing. Have had this happen several times with no resolution. Calling this time a girl named Isabella hung up the phone after being disrespectful to me. This was lunch for two kids at home sick. These children working here obviously can't be left unsupervised. Meanwhile the workers are laughing in the background at the fact I'm visibly upset when I came in. Never seen an actual manager working...absolutely absurd. If you like being disrespected by teenagers and your order wrong then enjoy. 'Isabella' never came forward and should be fired.

    Just wanted to give a shout-out to the Tropical Smoothie in Wake Forest. I ordered 3 smoothies with 2 being custom blends with add-ins. Paris was very helpful and patient even helping my daughter with making a decision as to which option would be best. She did all of this with a smile and seemed genuinely happy to help. She had great knowledge of the menu! Love this kind of work ethic and will be making other trips back to visit. Thank you, Paris, and Tropical Smoothie!

    Smoothies are good. Service is too long and not worth it. Order online to get there and find out that the app is not working. Not a real busy time either.

    9 out of 10 orders are screwed up. Always something is missing or wrong ingredients. And ordering online is terrible because site won't tell you that they out of ingredients for what you ordering and from 4 complete meals I received only 1 sandwich, 3 smoothies and 4 chips.

    I always order smoothies here, so good. Sometimes its busy, but its always fast. I recommend ordering through their app. I've had the food and it is good too. My only complaint is that the machine they use to make quesadillas leaves a burnt smell in the air. It's 100% due to the way they had to set up the kitchen, not their fault.

    Worst service ever. Didn't speak to my girlfriend and I when we walked in. Guy was sweeping with gloves on and then 2 minutes later asked us what did we want. Then tries to make our food/drink with the same gloves he had on while sweeping. They had 3 flies by the open Ingredients. Then I get 2 flatbread put in the bag and handed to me sideways like holding a pizza in the box sideways. Then look at me like I'm the crazy one for saying something about it.

    The staff is extremely rude & disrespectful. Felt a tad bit racist how one staff threw a receipt at me & the other yelled at me. One girl w/ curly hair got an attitude cause ahw couldnt find an item i wanted only to be shown how to find the item. She kept rushing my order before i was finished & there wasnt a line. She threw my receipt & walked away. Im not your pet & refused to pick up the receipt off the floor after u tossed it there. Then her taller friend that had her boyfriend & friend as guests, came & yelled that there wasnt a manager nor supervisor there & she couldnt deal with this & informed me i just needed to pick up already. I had my family w me & it took everything in me not to match responses. I've contacted corporate. This is not appropriate in this age of things. I'll never visit again EVER! and I frequented this location SEVERAL times a month.

    I usually have an excellent experience. However today two of the girls argued over who was supposed to make our smoothie. My wrap was falling apart and all the chicken was on 1 side and the veggies on the other. But the thing that was most disrespectful was the two girls who didn't want to do the job they're being paid for and give the service I paid for. Thank you to the tall blonde gal who stepped up to make the situation right without complaining and being gracious.

    I have often ordered from here, both in person and from the app. I’m pleased to say that this Tropical Smoothie Cafe has worked hard to improve from having struggled in the past, and has succeeded! The smoothies and food items are delicious, and the staff is great.

    Got my order fairly quick but the order was wrong. I corrected them and they said they would make me the correct order. Waited at least 30 minutes to receive my correct order whilst continuously reminding workers about it. Once i finally received my order, they didn’t even make it right. Disappointed but not surprised ~ the moment I walked in the cafe I wasn’t greeted and workers looked like they hated their job.

    Ordered online 4/22. Schedule pick up for 3:45. Came in and waited for my order for over 30 minutes. Only 2 staff members working. Was not acknowledged by staff at all. Finally got my sandwich and had to remind crew member to make my smoothie 3 times..all while others who came in after me received their orders before me. There was a poor woman with her child who waited 45 minutes for her order, she ordered before me and still had not received her order when I left. This is just ridiculous and after reading the reviews for this place I can see I’m not the only one who has had problems here. Won’t be back.

    Actuality this restaurant deserves less than one for today. When we arrived there was already 8 people waiting to receive their order. None of the tables were clean. The work area was not clean, and it appeared that it has been in chaos for quite some time. Employees on the phone, walking outside to take phone calls, etc. There was stuff everywhere. The workers were all over each other. You could tell that there was no strategy or team unity. When I was handed my food she basically threw it on the counter instead of putting it in my hand. I was even someonelse order at one point. I mean it was just a mess. The items that were used to make the smoothies were on the counter where the public seats, to eat their food. You can tell that it was a group of inexperienced teenagers and I did not see not one adult in sight. This place needs adult supervision and guidance.
