Perfection. I’m posting this while I’m still here because I’m just so happy with this visit. Everything is absolutely pristine. The lobby is just lovely and includes a common area to visit with friends. When I got in my room, my name was on the TV with a welcome message. Maybe I’ve been out of the loop since i had kids but it was such a nice touch. My room included a fridge, microwave and a Keurig. The dining area is very large. Can’t wait for breakfast! There is an indoor pool, 24 hour small gym, and a little shop where you can purchase late night snacks. To top it off, this hotel is right next to the largest Target this small town girl has ever seen. I’m never leaving.

We arrived on 14-18 April. Everything was great. On Sunday 17 April I went downstairs to put a bunch of things in my car for departing tomorrow. The clerk stop me and ask me why I didn’t have my service dog with every time I departed. I told her that when I’m with my wife she is the substitute for my dog. She told me that’s not a service dog then. I explained to her that he is and that she needs to quick asking be about my service dog. According the ADA , it’s my choice if I need to have a service dog with me all the time. I can have a substitute if I like. Again it’s not her opinion, it’s my choice. She said she was going to notify the GM to decide to charge $250. She’s lucky I don’t sues and file a complaint against her. Please train the clerk on the 2 questions she is allowed to ask. When we checked in we notified the clerk we had a service dog. Thank you room 226

Stayed here for one night. Overcharged for room on my credit card. Charge was supposed ro be $109 in total for the night. Got charged for $150 when I looked at my credit card statement. Wall paper was peeling and hair was in the shower. Didn't really care about that enough to complain. But I do not like being overcharged. Included breakfast was ok.

I absolutely love staying at hotels. I booked a room at a different hotel for my daughter's 3rd birthday so she could go swimming in an indoor pool. I came to Fairfield Inn after leaving the original hotel I booked at. They had the perfect room for me available & my daughter still was able to go swimming coming to Fairfield. The breakfast is wonderful, and the rooms are so cozy. The pool was perfect for my 3 year old & she's had a blast! Thank you Fairfield for being affordable & for providing guests with wonderful amenities!! I will be back here!! ☺️

I had the worst experience possible at this location. A year before our stay I booked a room block with 40 miscellaneous rooms for our friends and family coming into town for our WEDDING. The sales and hotel staff could not or would not make time for me to see a room so I could see if they would be big enough for myself and the bridal party to get ready in. Frustrating, but not one of my biggest issues with this establishment. About a month before the weekend (prior to our block release date) I had to personally reach out to the sales staff because a friend was having trouble booking a room in our block. They did take a few days to respond (nbd) but when they did, they let me know there were no rooms left or available. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN Nice TO KNOW AS THE BRIDE. I then asked for the list of blocked rooms and there were only ~24 rooms in the block! Where did my other rooms go?? My husband and I had a few follow up questions from this drama, and they have still not been responded to. Fast forward to wedding weekend - our hotel welcome bags were not given out to all of our guests. I had to have my guests ask for them post-check in. The hotel staff told our guests that they were going to call the cops on them for hanging out in the lobby area and kept yelling “disperse! Disperse!” In all the hotels I have stayed at, I have never had an experience like this and it made an already stressful situation (PLANNING A WEDDING) even more stressful. I chose the Marriott because I thought they would be #1 in service. Apparently I was wrong.

Asking again, what's up with towels and Marriott? They have signs up saying "every towel counts!" Then they give you towels so small you need three to dry your body! Great breakfast and amenities.

My husband and I stayed here over night for a wedding we attended and have already said we will be back just for a little getaway. The hotel was exceptional. Opening in 2018 it still has that "new smell" the regular rooms (which we stayed in were beyond spacious and all the little amenities made you feel like they really think of what people need when traveling. The breakfast was beyond measure. Bagel sandwiches, waffles, cearel, oatmeal..etc. and also healthy options which we appreciated. Cage free scramble eggs, turkey sausage and a wide variety of fruits and yogurt. The toppings they had for the eggs and oatmeal would blow your mind. The fitness gym and indoor pool are top notch. Front desk was superb. Check in is a 3pm and we needed to check in a little earlier to touch up to get to the wedding by 3. Alyssa who was in charge of the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us. She is a sweetheart. And Tyler who worked the desk at night was the most calm, sweet young man as well. You would be absolutely missing out if you stayed anywhere else.

I wrote a review last week regarding my experience with a lady at the front desk. Her name I believe was Alissa. I have never been talked so rudely by someone. But, I assume you only list “good” reviews. Nevertheless, I will not be staying there anymore. We are building a house in the area and were going to be spending a lot of time in your motel.

MINI VACAY I'll start off by saying the hotel in general was nice, breakfast was hot with a pretty good selection, staff was pleasant and very helpful. Buttttttt the hotel as a functioning hotel it was NOT! This hotel looked pretty new. My family and I checked in Friday no body wash in the shower that was ok. Staff bought up a few of those tiny bars of soap lol. Day two ice machine on the floor I was on not working, they had two elevators one of which was already out of order. Then the second one was out of order for a period of time so you had to walk up/down the stairs if you wanted to go to the pool, fitness room or leave the property. Day three still no working ice machine or elevator. And then checkout you'll never guess no working elevator. Imagine walking down the stairs with suitcases, bags etc. Not the best experience. So overall the stay was nice but definitely needs some work. We would stay here again but on the first floor.

Traveling down to Raleigh area, excellent value. Hotel was clean and modern. Two beds with flat screen tv that had access to cable, Netflix, YouTube, etc Breakfast included and served from 7-10 on weekends. I would certainly stay again on future trips to the area.

Clean, modern, and well appointed. The breakfast was good (not quite great, but also better than expected for this type of hotel). I was here for business and would stay here again if in the area.

Terrible experience. We stayed in Wake Forest with limited options for a stay. Hotel is simple and clean. Rooms smelled super musty. We had two rooms and switched to adjoining during the stay and those rooms smelled too. It seemed that it was the AC that was making it smell so weird. The AC was sooo loud and woke us up off and on throughout the night. One day our rooms were not cleaned at all - only fresh towels were brought but not made up. Ok- so that alone was blech. I accidentally left my family's clothes in a Fairfield Inn laundry bag on the way to my sister's house. I realized a few hours later and someone had taken them. Like a big part of our luggage for the trip. The hotel staff looked around and after a filed police report and seeing camera footage (where they confirmed someone took them) they told me tough lukc "someone probably threw it away." And that was their demeanor. Just barely indifferent. A regional sales rep called (almost a week later) and was very sweet and sympathetic. However, basically was told the same thing. They wouldn't do anymore to help track down the bag (almost $600 worth of clothes inside). I asked could they do anything at all to help mitiagte costs - even $10 off each room per night - they said no. At the end of the day, they saw someone on camera walk off with my family's clothes from their lobby and made no efforts to help address anything. BOO. And that was after the stinky rooms.

My first stay in April of 2022 was great! My second stay in June wasn't terrible but I had no towels in my room and 2 "less than half" rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom with no extra. My key card stopped working before my checkout so overall I had to make 3 trips to the front desk for help. I am grateful the staff was friendly!

This hotel is mostly shiny and pretty. The decor is nice and well maintained. However, the bed was tired and towels frayed. I like that they have shampoo and soap dispensers rather than single serve bottles. But one of ours was no longer attached. Rooms are very quiet as I never heard any noises from next door or other floors. Breakfast had decent variety. The staff food refreshed and the area clean. Work out room much better than average. Pool is tiny.

It's an ok hotel. Housekeeping is back but they only took trash and dirty towels and didn't replenish anything. No new towels etc

This is one of the prettiest hotels I’ve ever been in. When you walk in the door you feel like you’re in a boutique hotel. We had a very quiet stay, the room was great, the front desk reception was warm and professional. A great stay! Highly recommend!

Hotel is wonderful! Rooms, lobby, exterior all very well kept, clean, and inviting. Staff very friendly and helpful. Visited for a family reunion and got a great group rate, would stay here again for sure. Only minuses - - the pool kept closing due to several issues. - thin windows permitted too much noise from outdoor patio area where people were gathering too late at night.

Alyssa is by far the reason I chose this location over any other location. She is always in a good mood and always welcoming.

I usually only use Marriott hotels, but the rooms here were not to the usual standards. We came in a night early, and we ended up renting a suite. The toilet was still very dirty, and the sink had mold around the drain spout. The lights above the beds did not work, and the carpet had not been vacuumed, as there were chip crumbs in several areas, and I stepped on a bobby pin. The next night, we were in a different room, and we couldn't get the shower to turn on fully. It was difficult to rinse off. All of these issues were brought to the attention of the staff. They just apologized. I think I will be checking out other chains going forward.

If you want to visit with family don't stay here. You can't visit in the lobby after 10pm. We were here for a wedding and had family from all over the country. They didn't let us visit out on the patio after 10pm without frequent warnings.

Excellent visit for my mommy away time. They also allowed me to keep neatly packaged breastmilk stored in their freezer definitely means a lot! Breastfast was nice. Hope to be back again soon.

We have traveled over 30,000 miles by car and 6,000 by plane in the last 2 years staying in many hotels along our adventures and this is among the best in the biz! From the beautiful and clean facility to the friendly staff , everything is top notch! Fantastic breakfast, check. Fun and inviting pool, check. Clean and well appointed gym, also check! Easy access location within walking distance of great shops eateries and the amazing river front trails is a definite cherry on top of a quietly perfect stay! Thank you to the staff and the owners for creating one of the best travel rests we have had, ever.

No cleaning supplies in the gym to wipe down equipment, no hand sanitizer. I’ve been here for 4 days and still none. I had to call maintenance everyday to fix the toilet. I’m worried that I will have to take a number two because the toilet won’t flush. We have to use the gym bathrooms until fixed. Inconvenient considering we want to sleep in but have to wake up for maintenance. Breakfast was not good either, I used their old milk and it was very bad, I think it was spoiled. The taste was so rotten that I genuinely was wondering why it was so bad. The second morning I went down for breakfast and I was shocked that there wasn’t any regular coffee just decaf. I took a muffin up for my fiancé and he seemed to really like it. On the bright side, the service is friendly. I’ll edit my review once management gets back to me with a reasonable update. We haven’t had room service one time since we got here and we’ve been here for four nights.

Everything was great...except I found window unlocked...and also...the window had NO screen. If it wasn't for me being warm when I first arrived..then ... That window would have been unlocked for a while not to mention I was on the first floor.

Second stay even worse than the first, see below and additional pictures edited August 2022 To start off I inspected the bed as I typically do and immediately found what seems to me is obviously bed bugs. See the pictures and judge for yourself. The gentleman at the front desk immediately switched me to a different room and did Apologize for the inconvenience so I can't say that I was happy but I wrote it off because things happen. Had a few other very minor issues but chose to overlook those and then the night that I was leaving in the middle of the night the toilet stopped working so that I could not flush. Again I was willing to overlook that although becoming more frustrated with the hotel as the things added up. When I went to check out I told the lady at the front desk (different person). Instead of apologizing or doing anything she immediately started blaming me as the customer asking me why I didn't let them know so that they could fix it. I exceedingly politely said that it was in the middle of the night and I knew that I was checking out in the morning and I was just telling her so that they could fix it before the next guest and she kept cutting me off interrupting and saying the same thing over and over. Finally I decided that this person was stuck in a verbal loop and there was no point in speaking with her so I politely walked away and later tried to call the manager. When I called back to speak with the general manager her voicemail box was full and couldn't leave a message so I had to try back a number of other times. Then when I finally did get someone at the front desk after numerous busy signals and so on who claimed to be the GM, she said they have never had bed bugs they had it inspected and she didn't know what I saw but it wasn't bed bugs and that her employees don't talk like that but she would check into it. After she asked something to the effect of what could they do I said that I wasn't sure about staying there long-term that was up to her. She said she would check on something and get back to me and never did _____________ Original review 7 months before is included below: The facilities were great overall, but there was hair in the shower from the previous guest, something splattered on the wall, and a broken ground prong in one of the outlets... When i mentioned it to one of the employees, and again at the front desk at checkout, the lady just said "thanks for letting us know" and didn't offer any solutions, anything to try to make up for it, or even an apology. Definitely subpar treatment and subpar cleaning for a Fairfield. Full disclosure I did tell them not to worry about the broken prong during my stay as it was not actually a safety hazard, but none of the other stuff was addressed when I mentioned it either time

This place is convenient for business trips in the area, but, they don't have mattress covers, and my mattress smells like a sweaty person. Also my sink drain is clogged.

I'm from Philadelphia, I was there because my son got married. He booked the room for my daughter and I. It was wonderful, front desk service was exceptional and house keeping was awesome and everyone was so nice. Breakfast was great as well .I would go there again and again. Thank you Fairfield inn 😊

Walked into my room and the room had not been cleaned yet. There was a blood stain on one bed and the floors had not been vacuumed. A family member checked in to a non smoking room and found the room smelled of smoke.

Meh. Staff were ok. Hotel and rooms were dated but clean. Can't comment on the food because I didn't eat. The Hilton Garden Inn across the street is much nicer and more modern.

Overall, this hotel was fine. The common areas were very clean, the room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was just right (extra points for fitted sheets), and the included breakfast was good. However, there were several details which detracted from our stay: 1) The entire hotel was apparently out of shower gel (which I can understand), but knowing this, housekeeping should have accounted for this by leaving extra soap in each room, which they did not do. Worse, we asked for extra soap from both our housekeeper and the front desk but got none. 2) There were no bath mats in the hotel. 3) Our toilet cycled (very loudly) every 65 seconds. We were assured that maintenance would address it, but they did not. 4) The mini refrigerator is a nice touch, but ours clicked loudly every few minutes. Overall a decent stay with several minor inconveniences which could have been dealt with, and which would have upgraded this from 3 to at least 4 (if not 5) stars.
