They were polite, but the provider wasn't very competent. She didn't know the dosing of a common medication, and when told the correct dosing by a pharmacist still managed to send it in with the wrong directions. She also assured me she would give a refill because the treatment has to be repeated after a week. She failed to do so, so I now I have to go see another provider, which is a whole other day off work and twice the expense- for something that should have already been done.

Went for urgent care help one day and the Mrs. Ishak and her nurse were 5 star care! I couldn't have chosen a better urgent care! 2 days later decoded to become a patient for their primary care and Dr. Sandidge is an absolutely amazing doctor! Very smart, personable, and is able to make someone feel safe and cared for! I love this location! My mom and youngest brother are now going to become patients for their primary care too!

What a breathe of fresh air this place was today!!! My daughter had not been feeling well and scheduling an appt was super easy online. Then when we arrived the lady at the front desk (I believe her name was Katelyn) was courteous, patient and professional. Then once in a room (which was very quick) the nurse was AWESOME!!! (Didnā€™t catch her name). They handled my daughter with such care and respect that I (as a dad) would not hesitate to bring any of my kids here again. Doctor was also wonderful and she was very thorough with her exam and explanation of what was ailing my daughter. Tests were run and X-ray taken and results were very fast. My wife actually knew what was wrong with my daughter through her My Chart as fast as we did in the office. And the prescriptions were waiting at our pharmacy when we got there. Customer service has taken a dive these days, and the medical aspect has surely declined with employee attitudes and patients made to feel like they are annoying or a burden. But our interaction today was nothing of the sort and was deeply appreciated. Would ā€œNOT HESITATEā€ to go there again and we truly appreciate the interaction today. THANK YOU!!!!!

Iā€™ve only ever been to this location one other time, and Iā€™m so glad I came back! The sweet lady at the desk, Amber was so helpful. I called in prior, and she was super sweet on the phone and answered every question I had to the best of her knowledge. After a bit, I walked in and her in person energy was just as great as her phone energy! Super sweet lady, tell the boss she needs a raise šŸ˜œ kudos to her for being so kind! Iā€™d also like to add, the office is super clean and spaced out. Definitely using this location as my primary!

I injured myself and needed a few stitches. The front desk staff was very professional, caring, and understanding when I arrived not in the best mood. That was the beginning of the best care experience I've had. Darryl, a PA, did my stitches, but also talked with me and told stories and shared things I'd need to know to take care of myself throughout my visit. He took time to listen to my questions and answer them all. I'm so appreciative for the care that I'm literally sitting in my car writing this review before doing anything else.

BEWARE NO DOCTOR! The wife and I wanted to get an X-ray on her ribs for a suspected crack/broken rib. Our local physicians x-ray tech was out on this day so we resorted to this establishment. I now view this business as just another drag net for the wake med hospital as I'll explain below. Note first: we are in our 50's and 60's married over 36 years and we know a bit about our bodies, pulled muscles broken bones etc. I knew my wife had most likely just pulled a pectoral muscle but I was willing to pay the cost to rule out any cracked rib that may have existed, we were looking for assurance and maybe a prescription to help with her pain as she was in tears at times even to the point of screaming out in pain. Not only did we never see a doctor while there, they never laid a finger on my wife to examine her outside of the stethoscope listening to her breathing (which has never in my life lead to a diagnosis to this day.) Our first contact was the LPN who checks your vitals, weight, temperature etc. who decided my wife needed an EKG after learning her blood pressure was elevated. I informed them her pressure is up due to her pain level (look up adrenaline effects on blood pressure) and she's nervous around Dr offices. They insisted on the EKG against our wishes even after expressing concerns over there cost of something we knew wasn't necessary. After we agreed to allow it the machine would not function correctly and continued throughout 3 test throwing "anomalies" one after another causing the LPN to continuously question the results. After which she had the PA enter the room where she immediately told us to rush to the emergency room at "Wake Med" in which I declined to even entertain. Long story short, they offered no diagnosis whatsoever in the end outside of the hospital, EKG was inconclusive and a doctor never entered the room, no prescription was ever offered EVEN FOLLOWING MY QUESTIONING OF THIS. Now several days later my wife is doing just fine without ANY doctor having been seen to this day as the cost for this visit took any moneys extra we had to visit another practice due to these guys waisting our one chance. Note we are both disabled on fixed income with no insurance and are now being billed for this waist of time @ $180 office fee and $60 EKG test that didn't give a reading. People, please wake up, do not allow these doctor offices to tell you what you need without you questioning them. This is like taking your car to a mechanic asking to replace your brakes and he tells you his wrench can't remove the tire to inspect the brakes then charges you $400 for the labor sending you away with the same brakes. Since COVID we've now had 3 doctor visits where this same form of treatment has occurred attempting to push my wife to the hospital, one of which story was truly frightening as they attempted to get her in ICU on a ventilator to take her life far as I'm concerned, again we refused and immediately got a 2nd opinion that same day without disclosing the 1st dr's opinion to the 2nd doctor of which he found a little chest congestion, wrote her a script for it and we've never looked back, this happened almost two years ago, again my wife needed no hospital and damn sure didn't need a breathing machine while on remdesivir known to shut down human organs until they changed the definitions online you'll find available today. Many Frontline doctors were raising the flag early on for this problem but we greatly censored from being heard. Moral of my story, QUESTION EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE, please!

Being in an unfamiliar area and not feeling well is a bad combination. The intake lady here, I believe her name is Keesha R, was amazing! She was kind, professional, and quick when checking patients in. She made a stressful situation go off without a hitch!

Before going to visit this urgent care I called ahead of time and stated my blood pressure was over 200/100 and that I was trying to decide to go there or the emergency room. I asked if they did IV blood pressure medication because usually IV blood medication is needed and if they did not I would go to ER. However, I was told they did IV medications and fluid but she would not sure which I medications and was advice to come in and the MD could evaluate and determine which types medications I would need. However, after waiting over an hour I had my blood pressure(bp) taken which was still over 200/100 and was told by the Physician Assistant(PA)that I should have went to the ED because they do not treat blood pressure that is high. I explain to the PA if I has known that you all do not treat bp this high I would have went straight to the ED. She said that they only do IV fluids and went reception to have my $180 return but was told I would need to speak to the Manager. I spoke with the Manager and they stated I would not be able to get my money back and stated the reception cannot give medical advice. However, that is what the person did she stated they did IV medications and fluids there but the PA stated they only did IV fluids and no medications. I explained to the Manager from this advice I was under the impression that IV medications was an option and therefore determine my decision in going there. Now I have to pay $180 for a blood pressure reading I already knew before coming and ED bill now. I advised the Manager since the staff is unable to give medical advice it would be wise to have the staff staff I am not sure what type of medication we offer but you can be seen by the MD or PA and they can evaluate you and determine what you need.

Great experience as soon as you walk in the door! I called to verify if my insurance was accepted and Keesha took it from there. My appointment was scheduled. After my visit with Gwen I feel as if she has been my Physician for years.

Literally the best customer service experience as you walk in the door all the way up until you walk out. The front office lady was absolutely amazing and kind. The nurse was very detailed and patient and the doctor was great as well! Will definitely be back if Iā€™m in need of an urgent care.

Going to Urgent Care always sucks - but everyone I encountered today during my visit was so kind, compassionate and helpful. I even set it as my new primary care location because of how good my experience was. So thankful for this exemplary staff - Gwen especially was amazing and was such a big help.

I've found a wonderful medical facility here in Wake Forest. MyCare 365 with super convenient office hours make it really easy in scheduling a visit with their patients. The staff (Keesha & the entire reception staff), are personable, friendly, thorough, and really accommodating. Their nurses and providers (Gwen, Anna in particular), really do care about their patients. I couldn't be more satisfied with their services.

I never use an Urgent Care but had the need to and am SO glad I chose this facility! From the moment I walked in and was greeted by Keesha then taken to a room and was assisted by Linda to then being seen by PA Anna my experience was excellent!! This entire staff showed compassion and care! I highly recommend them to anyone needing care! I most definitely wonā€™t hesitate to return if needed. I am thankful for all their kindness and skill!

The front desk staff is great to work with. Keisha is amazing. I saw Gwen Harris during my visit today and she is really good. She has helped me a lot on various things. I established care today and I am looking forward to seeing her again soon. This is a great place to get all of your needs met. One Stop Shop for everything.

I visited the Wake Med urgent care facility in Wake Forest. I confidently give them 5 stars for their cleanliness, friendliness, knowledge, and care. Each individual I interacted with was top notch and professional starting with the triage/intake desk to the medical professionals. I would choose this facility again for any urgent care need without hesitation. Many thanks to the entire staff.

This staff is incredible. We had a very scary/tense situation with our daughter this week where she was attacked by another student and needed puncture wounds in her hand cleaned/evaluated and closed. From the moment we walked in, we felt the care and concern from the entire staff. They were patient, loving and thorough in their treatment. They were exactly what we both needed. They went out of their way to make sure Piper was cared for - even taking the time to search for glitter bandaids. As a mom, watching your child go through something like this is devastating but Keesha, Elsie, Jovanda, and Gweyn Harris, NP helped ease the stress and anxiety of this event. Thank you!!!

Always a great experience! Keesha, at the front desk, is very welcoming and helpful. She knows her job and does it well. I really like all of the staff at WakeMed MyCare 365 Primary & Urgent Care. Itā€™s easy to make an appointment using the app or simply by calling. The physicians give you their undivided time and listen to you. Always appreciated.

I went to the Wake Forest location yesterday as a walk-in. Understably, there was a wait, as I was worked in between scheduled primary care patients and other walk-ins prior to me. I was particularly impressed with the front desk personnel, Keesha, as she dealt with each patient respectfully, and answered all questions in a manner where you didn't feel like a nuisance or being an aggravation. There was one instance where a patient was particularly angry and Keesha continued being respectful. I find this is increasingly rare, as many (not all of course) front facing/front desk staff (anywhere) make you feel like you're wasting their time or that any question have is stupid. I appreciated Keesha's patient support. Once I got back to the room, I also appreciated the vital sign technicians professionalism and she even got me water without me asking because I was having a coughing fit. The PA was swift and diagnosed me with a sinus infection and provided me a print out of the service I had that day. Once my visit was over, the nursing staff and Keesha greeted me and told me where the exit was and told me to have a great day. Urgent cares are not usually very pleasant places, but they made my visit a very positive one. Thank you.

I recently switched over to here from UNC and I have to say I do not understand the 3.9 rating. Every appointment Iā€™ve had here has been absolutely amazing. My doctor Susan was phenomenal and really listened to any concerns I had. She even came up with a plan for my migraines and I went from having 30 a month to only 2-3 migraines a month. I absolutely cannot thank her and the nurses enough. My nurse who I unfortunately canā€™t remember her name is always amazing and so sweet, she even let me hold her hand when I was nervous about getting my blood drawn. This team is so amazing and I will absolutely always go here for appointments and I recommend everyone else to as well. I always have to wait no longer then 5 minutes in the waiting room they are always on time. 5 stars to all of the team there!!!

We have been to this office three times in the past four months with unexpected after-hour medical needs. We have been pleased with the clean facility, professional staff, short wait times, and the comfort of seeing familiar faces - which is impressive for our drop-in needs!

Brought my son in today, Keesha received us and processed his paperwork for an appointment. She was so friendly and helpful. Thank you Keesha! Iā€™d also like to thank Jenica, she made my son feel so comfortable even with the dreaded nose & throat swabs. Highly recommend this urgent care, they were welcoming and extremely professional unlike other urgent care places we have experienced.

My primary care doc is through wake med and it's near impossible to get an appointment when I'm sick so I tried this place. I waited in my car for about 10 minutes, the lady came out and got me. The medical assistant that helped me was amazing and so nice. Then nurse practitioner ishak ( I can't quit remember her name) was amazing and helped me with everything. They gave me a breathing treatment and all the medication I needed. They actually cared 10/10 will go back again.

I received a last minute notice from my daughterā€™s school that she needed an immunization or she couldnā€™t go back. I found the closest My Care and called immediately. I was lucky enough to get Keisha! She walked me through finding the closest Health Dept. to verify what was needed and stayed in contact to make sure I was taken care of. At the appointment, met her face to face and it was like reuniting with an old friend! She was the highlight of my crazy day! I will always recommend this location and come here for all of my familyā€™s needs!

Nov. 14th, 2021 I took my 7 year old daughter in due to UTI symptoms. When we arrived, we were greeted so pleasantly by the receptionist. I personally thanked her for being so kind and her response was "it's the way I was raised, Southern Hospitality. I treated people how I like to be treated." We sat and waited 2-3 minutes. A young energetic nurse called us back (who was just as kind as the receptionist). She was quick yet thorough. I asked what type of vitamins she was on after she revealed she was in her mid 40's. After intake, a female PA (per my request) entered. She was gentle, knowledgeable, and demonstrated a level of compassion like you rarely get. She examined everything and helped make my daughter feel safe. I am truly grateful for my experience and I will definitely be back.

I had such a great experience at this Urgent Care from Registration to Nursing/X-Ray to the PA. I would 100% go there again and recommend to others.

Had poison oak all over! Check in fast, triage fast, saw the NP fast and I was out in a snap! Mind you Heritage Urgent Care and MedAccess neither one would see me! I will not go back to either of those locations after a fantastical experience! Thanks Wake Med! Your check in lady, LPN and NP all rocked!

I had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff was great as well as the lady that took my vitals down to the practitioner that saw me. They were so nice!

Bad patient care. Bad nursing. Bad doctors. No one listens to what you say or your concerns. And they hate when you advocate for yourself. I had people rolling their eyes at me and giving me nasty looks when head my medication list. Iā€™ve had so many bad experiences with WakeMed and I canā€™t help but think itā€™s because Iā€™m younger or they simply just donā€™t care about peopleā€™s health.

I went in today to be seen and was greeted by front desk associate Keesha R. immediately. She was super professional and kind and tried her best to properly check me in so I can be seen as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, due to an error with my insurance I was unable to be seen. She showed empathy and care as she shared the bad news and did her due diligence to try and further assist me so I can receive the care I needed. It felt amazing to be treated with such professionalism and care and I will recommend this practice to everyone I know. I'm in management and would be honored to have someone like her on my team!!!!!!! Thanks again Keesha !!!!!!
