Popped in to Castleford for the first time after visiting J32, was pleasantly surprised by the amount of shops and more so the amount of niche shops. A great place for crafty gifty type things that you wouldn't find elsewhere. Also, the market is well worth visiting and even though I'm not a fan, the Tigers shop was cool.

Don't be looking for luxury shops, but hey this is Castleford. I actually think it's pretty good for what it is, it's clean, it's got toilets, plenty of places to eat, a decent Boots and New Look and a teeny tiny M&S. I also saw a great sample sale clothing shop with items from Whistles and French Connection for £3 each. Bargains to be had here for sure, worth a look!

Looking outdated a d rundown

Not much to it really it's just a little shopping centre mainly all clothes shops and make-up shops but I wouldn't really recommend going as it's just go to White Rose you know get on a bus and go to White Rose I won't recommend it here

I only called in for meat and eggs in fairness, so my review isn't an overview of all the shops. That said, if you want a bargain, this is the place to be. The prices here are so competitive, it really is pointless going to the supermarkets. Very spacious, clean, and very friendly people. Fill your boots guys.😀👍

This is a rather large shopping centre with a solid range of outlets, enclosed by a glorious glass roof! A smooth design style is used for the buildings throughout and the navigation system is an easily understandable one, merely showing directional arrows. I enjoyed the shops CeX and Iceland, which I made my way to comfortably across the square-tiled floor.

Today I fell over in the town. As I went to the toilets to clean my leg up I asked the cleaning lady if she could watch my bag. I'd like to send a huge thank you to this lady as (Bev) as she saw my injury and sat me down and cleaned it up. So thank you Bev I wish more people were as caring ☺️☺️

Market has wide variety of charity shops, but I wish that the indoor building had more food restaurants

Quiet place on a sunday..not many shops open, though there is enough to get you to open your purses/wallets..lol Few empty units that need to filled... Overall quiet ( on a sunday ) friendly place to spend a few quid and then sit down with a coffee...

Nice cafe and enough variety in the shops on offer, easy parking at the rear.

This place is like a ghost town now I visited a few days ago around 12.30 and I could go in every shop with ease and not bump into anyone when I was younger you couldn't take three steps without someone smiling or saying hello

A great shopping centre. Have everything you could want, EXCEPT I could not get a man's dressing gown.

Looks like the owners need to spend some money on it. Roof windows leak when it rains so take an umbrella! Quite a few empty units. Not a great shopping centre. Coffee shops are good though.

As far as shopping centres go, it's not bad for the size of the town. There's all the major high street stores either inside as well as nearby

Pleasant place to shop undercover. Entrance into the marketplace from inside. Ample selection of stores, Boots, M&S, H&B, 3 cafes, clothes, cards, Iceland & more!

Small shop packed to the brim. Staff were really helpful, cheerful and polite.....

Been coming here since I was a kid, a fair amount of decent shops, but could do with more choice and a little updating in parts. The market area isn't as full as it used to be, I guess due to covid which is a shame cos its a lovely market! Great coffee shops too! Love flavours and mangobean!

We popped in for loom bands but as always came away with so much more. We didn't stop for a coffee, unfortunately, but the aroma was lovely. Bright and airy shops, affordable prices and always friendly prices. (There's enough room to stop for a little catch up if you bump into an old friend) Lovely and clean.

There's a good selection of shops. Flavours Café is really nice. The whole place is impeccably clean. Good toilet facilities. Car Park at the rear, only 2 hours max though. There's other car parks around.

Not got much good quality clothing now. It used to be a great fashion shop but rarely (if ever) have I found anything that I want

Great shopping centre with a direct connection with Castleford Market.

Its an ok centre. Some nice coffee shops too. Ok for a quick stroll and shop around. Can get straight onto the main street from this centre too so very handy. It states closed on a sunday on google but actually it is open. Not all shops open but there are some and some cafe's open too. Would definately recommend to visit.

Wow fancy bumping into Donatella Versace in Cas Market (well it looked like her). I would imagine that she was looking for inspiration for this year's Summer collection, either that or trying to offload some of last years collection.

Tacky stuff ex department store. Sometimes you may find a bargain so it's worth nipping in once a month

Not enough disabled parking spaces. There's a ridge of bricks round the entrance to the center, have difficulty getting up using my mobility scooter

Nice place to shop, Pound Land could do with some manned tills as I don't like the self checking till, they are very irritating and never work properly, I shall not go to Pound Land again the other shops are very pleasant
