Don't buy anything expensive from here, if it breaks they'll look for any excuse to void the warranty. I woke up to find my phone broken. Took it to CEX and due to an unrelated scuff mark, they refused to help. Now I'm left with a phone that cost £600+ that doesn't work, CEX refuse to repair it or refund me, even though I was only 6 months into a 24 month warranty and the fault was no fault of mine. The staff even said it was a common fault with that model of phone! I've learnt my lesson and will never be purchasing anything from CEX again.

I do not recommend. I bought a speaker for £35, you can buy a new one for £25 ... not fair☹️☹️☹️

It's very difficult to make returns, especially for online orders. This is an issue for all CEX locations.

You say you base your prices on current market value and demand so Explain why you sell second hand used games for more than you can buy new elsewhere for example jedi survivor you sell £55 but in for example asda new £48 and don't say we can't compete with supermarkets or it must be sale price regardless still cheaper and if you price match why not reduce b4 som eone asks(just incase they don't realise)

Have bought lots of kit from here over the years. Staff mostly good with one or two exceptions. Stock mostly priced correctly though beware as you can often find items cheaper to buy new online.

Always call here when we get a new phone to sell the old one. Genuine people with good prices do check them out.

Big choice with phones. Bit expensive but with warraty 2 years, it's worth it for me.

Great store the best cex in our area

I buy quiet a mixture of computer parts. Computers. Blue ray and 4k films. Prices good and 2 year warranty on all electricals

Visited today and despite our purchase not being of high value the service we received was excellent, professional and accommodating.

RIP OFF!! What a way to make money? To prey on people when things are hard enough!! Please dont use this place, your stuff is worth more😧 My ear buds sold for£56 on eBay and Cex tried to offer me £13,50? That's what I call a RIP OFF!! You will get more money from other companies.

One of the few good CEX stores. Got served right away by nice staff and online order was ready to go.

CeX is okay. The issue is the markup on some tech. If you're after something quite niche, the prices can sometimes be quite good. However most of the time, it's worth checking ebay and other preowned marketplaces to see if you can find what you're looking for at a better price. This store in particular has quite a wide variety of items, so you can find what you're looking for easily. It's a great store for just window shopping, nonetheless.

Bought a phone from this shop around 2 weeks ago, but just after a few days phone got problems getting to 40% battery and just it turns off automatically. Went today to see if I could get a voucher or repairing but they ask for 1h to test it, and they couldn't find what's wrong. Didn't offer a voucher or a refund. Very rude staff today too. Very bad experience, being seddaling with cex for years and this one has the worst experience I had with them. Not going back at least to this store.

Beware when buying from this company as they have a habit of sending poor quality goods or not even the right one at times and have to jump through hoops to get your money back

This CEX was and is overall excellent. I have used them before and currently to trade in old consoles and games. I have also acquired many a video game for both PlayStation and Xbox over the years. Even when it is busy, when you get served, the person gives you their full attention and makes sure you are taken care of before you leave the shop.

Not a bad little shop. Has lots of gadgets, games and phones to offer and staff are friendly and polite, however I brought a few items in here to sell and they offered me next to nothing for them... I took the items elsewhere and was offered three times the amount. Not sure if they wanted to rip me off or whether the staff member was new ect... would probably call here if I needed to buy something but wouldn't revisit to sell

A great way to sell your old phones etc for a decent price. You get more in vouchers for the store but can opt for cash. A very pleasant experience.

I went yesterday there to sell my phone, took my sim card off, left phone with them for a test (stated should be around an hour). Came back after that time, young lad said sim tray is broken and they can't test it further! They broke my phone because their staff don't know how to handle customers devices. Of course stated it was broken.... NEVER use this rubbish place with 0 skilled personnel!!!
