Had booked Sterling, Lonavala for 2 nights. The tariff was 12000 MAP. I thought that it was a great deal as it is 'STERLING' after all. We had stayed at Sterling in Darjeeling and Wayanad and we know about the quality and the standard of the chain. HOWEVER.... it begins We reach the gate and it is unmanned. No security at all.. also no one in the premises to guide you. No direction boards showing the way to reception or parking. So my husband took the road ahead and reached the backside of the resort [passed no one absolutely] and parked the car [it was the parking space fortunately - THOUGH OPEN PARKING]. Now he had to walk all the way back to the front and look for the reception. The room was very average one. No toiletries at all. The AC had no remote. Many channels were not there on TV. About the buffet, the variety was so limited. BUT, the taste was good. Also, the staff was courteous, but they are unexperienced and not trained properly. We think that this time Sterling has acquired some old dingy lodge in Lonavala and hence we get fooled by the name - STERLING brand. Other resorts where we have stayed are much posh, better and cheaper

Worst experience with the staff. Rooms are not as expected. Misleading pics of the property. The manager and staff are bullies. Swimming pool was "closed" until a group of well built men arm twisted them into opening it up. They were charging ₹10 per paper plate even after having paid for 6 rooms and 16 people. It is situated near the highway and becomes very shady at night. Hotels charge minimum ₹150 for deliveries to this location.

I had stay in this resort from 8 August to 10 August for 9 people in 3 studio rooms. Stay was pleasant. No challenges to locate resort. I will not consider it as resort by looking at space, room size and it's location. It is kind of motel. However, maintained it well, food quality is good, front desk is there to provide help to plan your local visits. Room service observed timely and good . Staff is of helping nature...overall, good stay with friends and family. We enjoyed it!

The location of the hotel is very good, really close to the Pune Highway. Good place to stay if you are planning to visit places, if you are planning on a trip to relax and enjoy your stay, this is not the resort for you. Restaurant food and the staff were wonderful. All in all a decent stay.

Nice place to stay. Located at Lonavala and every point are nearer to hotel. Service is above average. You have to remind second for any order or service. As compare to hostel stay rate hotel basic things are missing like comb, disposable shoe, brush, paste, hair oil, etc... Swimming pool is very nice. But as per hotel rule you should carry swimming costumes to swim or u can buy it from hotel store. So we buy. Then we see that so many people are swimming without costumes too. Activities are good. Some are free and some are paid. Jahangirbhai, sports and activity coordinator is very supportive. Overall 3 rating outof 5.

Rooms are old but large, clean and comfortable. Not much variety in food but good and tasty. The best was the service from Nikhil and Suraj at the front desk,Srimanta,Animesh and Amol under chef Madan, to the humble watchmen, technicians and housekeeping staff, I could not have asked for better treatment.Iam a senior citizen and they went out of their way to help me especially in sightseeing. I shall definitely try to return.

I have been to this place several times great hotel.and the best part of the hotel is the team. They have got well trained team and they follow all COVID protocol I feel my family is safe in this hotel rather than staying anywhere.Like to thank the resort manager for keeping the place so vibrant. Lovely place for vacation.

Being a Member I had booked 2 rooms for 2nights. Considering Sterling our expectations was quite high however the moment we checked in, the rooms were below average. The rooms alloted did not have Mini cooler, post highlighting they provided. The spread for buffet is limited and not worth for the charges being levied. Rooms are too small and does not qualify to be called as a resort may be you consider changing name to "Sterling Hotel" which will be apt. Swimming pool don't think is being cleaned on periodic basis.

Hospitality, staff l, food and other services are very nice.. Also there are certain indoor games which are good. But the only issue is the property is very old. Though they are trying to keep it clean and tidy but interior is old so you dont get a feeling of a good quality hotel.

Don't compare this resort to all other sterling resorts. This is More a hotel than a resort. Rooms are below average. Washroom are not well furnished to the normal standard. This is a very old property so members should avoid this resort

The room here aren’t upto the Sterling standard. Being a member at Sterling Holiday, I still booked a room here outside of membership considering the fact the hotel is under “Sterling”, but the rooms are below average. The room was smelly, ac remote doesn’t work. Quite disappointing.

Mediocre rooms, average service and extremely bad quality food and very costly dining options as compared to quality. Disappointing experience.

The place is quite beautiful. It is having good ambience , nice swimming and enough of parking space. The staff are extremely cordial and amicable. Ms Kanchan in the restaurant dept. was really amazing in managing all our requirements. Thanks again for the lovely experience.

Rooms were ok and neat but for the price you're paying you expect a 3 star level of room at least. The rooms need to be renovated , the pool needs to be cleaned . They have so much garden space around the pool , wonder why the pool is so small . The service was nice and i appreciate the staff for their promptness . Overall i was really disappointed with the rooms , having visited other Sterlings I know how much better the rooms are in the other Sterlings.

Stay was good. Nice activities there. Pool table and TT game was best experience. Mr jahangir was there to clear all doubt regarding sports activity and for swimming pool as well. His nature was also good. They treat well.

I want to give zero star but unfortunately there is no such option. I don’t even understand why are even such hotels still in operation when they don’t know how to run a hotel. First thing the photos shown in google or there website are all fake none of the room looks like the one in picture. The moment you enter the hotel it looks very unclean and unorganised. There is no such thing as ambiance or pleasant vibes. Rooms are very very bad have cracks in walls poor curtains, very unclean with bad smell. Unclean bedsheets, washroom pathetic. No maintenance, staff very poor, very old lift, ac not working. Very bad property, please don’t stay here I won’t recommend it. We had made the booking after seeing the photos in website, but after we went it was not a place to stay even for a day. We left the place in just half an hour. N that idiots don’t even had courtesy to refund our money. Waste of money.

Hi, I'll be putting a detailed experience of this resort. It's a decent resort with good amenities and also they hesitate giving most of them out which are supposed to be free of cost on booking. Wifi, it's mandatory to give access to all guests but they'll hesitate a bit. Swimming pool, I visited this resort in mid of July, 22. Moderate-heavy rains. Our stay was 2 nights so after a lot of requesting them we got to use the pool. I wonder they even cleaned the pool before notifying us if the pool has opened. I personally took the net and cleaned a few chunks of leaf and little branches. A hall for indoor games, We had most our time spent here since it was raining outside most of the times the climate was really cool and sometimes with light drizzle chai-sutta goes so well. Anyways, the area is a non-smoking zone supposedly. There were games like table tennis, 8 ball pool (small table 100Rs/hour). We still got to negotiate and and played for atleast 2 hours. Other games like hoopy-loopy (you throw rings on a rack of vertical bars). And a few games we didn't bother to play like Chess and other board games, plus they weren't for free😂. Rooms, clean and hygienic rooms, furniture is a bit old in some but that's fine. Room service was great tho we had to call a few times for a sachet of hair oil and toothpaste. But that's just the lousy management. Hot water, (you have geyser button in the room) sadly had to wait for like 20mins everytime you turn on the geyser button but we managed. *Rooms are not sound proof*. We got banging noise from neighbours 😳 Environment is calm during off seasons. Over all the stay was pretty much soothing and will fulfill a much needed break vibe.

Rooms needs renovation. There needs to be more staff atleast on weekends. Else it a good getaway for Mumbaikars at reasonable price. Post covid now they have made swimming pool accessible. All the covid protocol were followed at checkin.

Had a wonderful stay with lots of activities to enjoy. The evening host made us play funny games that was really hilarious. Kanchan in the dining room is a wonderful host whose smile never fades and happily she takes all the orders to be served. A relaxing place to stay for 2-3 days.

Nice place. Nice ambience. Decent breakfast. No room service post Covid if you order something you have to collect from the restaurant.

Was cool and ok type. Sterling as a brand and the property place insider lonavala is not that prime. It shd have been situated inside of the terrain where more fresh air and floating clouds could add to the value. Breakfast was good. Overall a good feeling 😌

Wifi was denied in the rooms, even after polite request. Restaurant & room delivery staff seemed to be upset & irritated, and did not listen to our demand for getting steel spoons & forks in the room. Restaurant staff had very poor communication gap for the food ordered. The hard copy of the menu was not provided, and the QR code scanned copy could not be opened by multiple people on the same table. The board games were denied and were made available after a long argument.

Breakfast was good. Swimming pool is small. There is no park for kids like swing, slide as shown in pics on booking sites. Staff is friendly and helpful

My wife and I were in this place from Oct 21 to 23. We had a fantastic time. The property is located very close to the town, unlike most of the Sterling resorts. The place is maintained very well. The floors, corridors etc were spick and span. The front office persons, the restaurant guys and the housekeeping persons were all very warm and efficient. Bhaskar and Sourav were particularly good. I have to make a special mention of the GM there, Mr Sreejidh. He interacted with the guests and ensured that they were comfortable. I am sure this attitude percolated to his team.

I stayed there for 1 night. Staff and food is good but As per price it is totally not worth to go Rooms seem like you have entered some local motel house. The resort is not at all maintained or upgraded Wasn't expecting this kind of infrastructure from sterling holidays and yes images on internet are manipulated so don't trust that
