Changing my previously 5 star review to 2 stars. On Sunday at 15:20, we visited the La Maison du Pain. We were kindly alerted it is closing at 16:00 (in 40 mins). It was no problem for us as we just wanted to order soem coffee and eclair to call the day. Yet, we got actively ignored by the waitresses for exactly 17 mins even to order. We decided to leave the place as we were sure that we will be asked to leave after 16:00 due to their slow service. Such a bad experience at a lovely place. I’ll reach out to the owner about this, too.

The food and atmosphere were really good. The service was rather slow at peak times but this doesn’t change the fact that this place is a clear recommendation in Wiesbaden!

Great coffee with oat milk. 2 options for vegan (the vegan baguette or the vegan tartine). Would be nice of they can have or provide (bio kaiser) vegan pastries. Orange Juice could be freshly pressed. Slow service. They do not charge extra for alternative milk which is nice !

Excellent French 🇫🇷 food and drink in Wiesbaden. Friendly staff and a great selection of sweets and breakfast all day.

The coffee seems to be the best in town. And if you can handle a bossy waiter demanding you make an order while you struggle with a menu in German, you can go for pastry, muesli or fried eggs with cheese or the like. Good for coffee and breakfasts.

Very good all around. Service was a little slow, but thankfully, I had time. Generally very very tasty food, pastry and coffee.

The food was very good and there was much to choose from. The menus were creatively designed and the atmosphere was very nice but the only thing that was not that nice is the service. One of the waiters wasn't very nice to younger people didn't really show respect to them. The waiter did things like just grabbing the menu out of their hands without consent or speaking in a pretty rude tone.

As aFrench, I have to admit that I occasionally miss my french bread and other delicacies. La maison du pain has been my to go place for breakfast when people visit me, but also just when i was needing a snack or a baguette, I was never dissapointed and am really happy I found such a great place in the heart of Wiesbaden!

Let's start by saying, the place is not bad, I will just compare different things with other "La Maison du Pain" I have been to. I select this restaurant chain because of what I was expecting. 1. The service: I came with my son and wife to have breakfast, I made a reservation online the night before, just to realize they don't check these reservations at night, which is understandable. What is not acceptable is the bad attitude of the person when telling me this, it was not my fault, their page should announce this. 2. The food: Although the quality of croissant is really good and all bakery. I need to complain on the breakfast. I usually as scramble egg with cooked jam. I know how to prepare them, is just I enjoy going to a restaurant with my family. The eggs were dry and brown (meaning starting to get burned) if an accident like this happen, you don't serve this to your costumer, this type of eggs should be soft and silky, and the ham should not be a piece of jam next to the eggs. Anyway, I was expecting a better food, like the French one, I like to remember my years in France eating with my family, and usually other "La Maison du Pain" Has offered me better food and service.

Tasty pastries, great food and good service. They're really baby-friendly and have a clean, organised change table. We always stop there for teatime when we're in Wiesbaden.

Service was great, coffee and food are superb. Our server was very patient with us/our lack of knowledge of the menu.

It's a nice place for breakfast. Nice ambience sitting outside in summers. You get delicious and fresh croissants (both sweet and regular with a variety of fillings). Coffee over there is just fine and the customer service is good.

I recently visited the French bakery in Wiesbaden and was blown away by their delicious pastries, croissants, and baguettes. The croissants were flaky and buttery, just as they should be, and the baguettes had a crispy crust with a soft and fluffy interior. The selection of pastries was impressive, with each one looking more tempting than the last. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made for a delightful experience. We had a coffee and éclair here. Coffee was good, eclair has place for improvement. The staff is nice but service is slow.

Ok for a french cafe in germany the athmosphere is pretty relax and friendly. Food is verry good, especially the spicy tuna croque is a heavenly sandwich, that a waitress that served us, invented. And besides her great atetude and chill persona, she knows good food! This is our forever breakfast date spot now. Love iiit. Atliest one thing to love here in this sad and hostile town of wiesbaden.

Our go-to spot for bruch on weekends. the french dishes are overall very tasty and the atmosphere is nice as well. can be very crowded, so reservations are recommended.

Lovely coffee and location, great breakfast

Food was excellent. Service was good. Arrived at about 8:30 AM and found it very odd that there were multiple tables reserved for hours later. Kind of put a damper on our mood.

Great coffee, food was okay, not my favorite place for breakfast. Ambiance is wonderful and customer service very friendly.
