we are giving 3 stars not because of coffee taste (that was ok for cappucino, maybe flat white was not the best we had during trip in Switzerland, but ok), but barista seemed to be a little bit upset or angry or whatever - easily not the person you would like to meet in cafe. When some customer asked about lactose free milk, he did not know and was so “helpful” that customer had to analyze on the bottle herself.. This negative experience was maybe caused by silence in the cafe (no music) - this also comes to atmosphere which is average (layout of the cafe is ok)

Was introduced of the brand a few weeks ago from a YouTuber video, but did not know the many championship that the founders has awarded of. Was hesitated to purchase at first because it’s almost as twice expensive as the coffee I usually purchase from some decent local specialty coffee roasters, but was told by the barista “this is one of the best coffee roasters in the world”. Got home and made pour overs with V60. Was amazed by how good it is. It tasted so silky, smooth, sweet, has strong notes that reminisced a delicate piece of almond milk chocolate. Now I don’t think I can go back to those local roasters I used to like. Hope I can visit MAME in person one day.

In my stay of Zurich I was on the search for a good speciality coffee and this has satisfied my craving. I got a cold brew and bless them it is a good one. I can see why it’s crowded and people line up, worth the wait.

Filter, espresso & milk drinks are all very consistently very well prepared and you can choose between a handful of different coffees from somewhat typical flavours to pretty funky, exciting ones. Baristas are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, too (coffee is so good, I would come here even if they insulted me with every cup - but this way it's even better).
