Stayed here for two Saturdays and rooms are good but had me down for a single instead of a deluxe double on the second Saturday. Changed the room but beds were all single so we ended up sleeping in separate beds!

Stayed there as convenient for a birthday party nearby..Pleasantly surprised by the room we had..Very clean and had everything we needed ( even an iron and ironing board!!) Staff were lovely and had a decent bacon and egg toastie for breakfast..For what we paid it was well worth it

Really nice budget hotel. Staff were lovely. Nice rooms that were very clean and and a decent cooked breakfast in the morning.

Noisy lively but great food staff and location

The room was up many stairs which we struggled with, even the member of staff who showed us up to the room apologised. We got back at 10.30pm on a Friday evening looking forward to a drink to be told that it's closed, even for residents & that there are many bars around that we can go to. We would've stayed at the one that we were at if we had known that the hotel bar closed so early. Such a disappointment. Was so surprised that a hotel bar is closed so early on a Friday evening. Only gave 2 stars because the member of staff who showed us up to the room was so nice, otherwise it would've just been the 1 star.

Lovely room, comfortable bed. Great ensuite and shower .Tv good. Everything you could want for a weary worker in the area. However the breakfast wasn't great. Improvement needed in main elements. Only one weetabix offered and the cooked English was not hot and didn't hit the spot for a tiring day of work ahead. The owners/staff were absolutely lovely, and improvement on the breakfast would make this a perfect stay. I'm sure they are people who will take feedback and make the improvements.

I stayed here for tewlve nights in May, this was the fifth time I have stayed here. As usual all staff extremely helpful. Rooms extremely clean, and good breakfast. You are only two minutes away from bus into Liverpool which takes approximately 20 minutes, or bus into Birkenhead and catch bus to Cheshire oaks outlet, or carry on into Chester. Unfortunately for the staff I,ll be back in November.

Very comfy and clean room. The pub downstairs was lovely, with live music and brilliant people. Only downside, was the many stairs to get to the room.

Very nice rooms bar of hotel was excellent music on Saturday night was also a good choice while I stayed there .

Pretty standard wet pub . Live music on Friday and Saturday.

Very good place for live music these days and prices are relatively low.
