They always serve you in a take away cup, and we all know coffee lover don’t like that as it changes the taste. Staff claiming the washing machine is broken or run out of cups. Not the beste experience I’m afraid, not to mention they don’t serve you cutlery when buying a cake as well.

Worst starbucks ever seen. A man took our order didnt even ask for whipped cream ,what size or if I have the starbucks app or for my name .He looked like he didn't want to be there .Me and my son ordered 2 cookies and cream frapicionos also he didnt even call our name out and we waited and waited and then we checked the counter and it was there .Disgusting drink ,tastes like water and not blended properly .Left and never coming back.Dirty tables and now have a stain on my shirt from leaning on the table.

Been here a few times now and still every time I go too sit in have a coffee never have a proper mug always in a paper cup if I wanted a takeaway cup I would of gone too Macdonalds or asked for a takeaway drinks mug but when you come have a coffee you want it in a proper mug so why not enough mugs available for customers sitting in cafe there plenty dirty ones on the tables

The drinks are always consistently good here. The main issue is that this place is starting to look worn and grimy. When you have three visible members of staff, one of which is wandering around talking to regulars, customers really shouldn't be having to clear tables themselves. Also I'm not sure how the bathroom cleaning is sheduled in this place but perhaps rethink it. Not a huge fan of the mysterious whiteish streaks on the unisex bathroom wall.

Great place just took one star off as the white hot chocolate had much less then it should have so tasted like normal milk but will go again

Very disappointed with my order. They charged me £4.60 for a cookies and creme frappuccino which was awful. The drink wasn't blended properly, there were massive ice cubes sunk at the bottom. What a waste of money.

Nice clean public areas, helpful staff, coffee as expected. Very sunny day and no shade in big windows, maybe needs looking at if we continue to see the sun. Recommended.

Finished a family bucket and wanted a sweet treat to finish off my solo banquet. I spilt my meal deal down my wheelchair and got the wheel stuck trying to do wheelies for the kids. Good day out. Belly stuffed.

It's such a lovely Starbucks in a great location, and I would like to frequent here more often. However, I usually decide not to chance it and go elsewhere as whenever I've been in, they never seem to have stock in for half of what they've got on the menu.

Asked for a soy frappe without whipped cream, not only dif the guy put cream on but it wasn't vegan (I'm lactose intolerant) when I told hi. It was meant to be no cream he asked if he could just wipe the cream off so he didn't have to remake it. I was stunned and just said "errr yeah okay" I don't think any of it was soy

Visited New Brighton Starbucks on a Tuesday lunchtime. Most people in there were on their laptops working. Trendy! Had a latte an a cheese and ham toasty, which was not too expensive and pretty tasty. Yeah pretty standard Starbucks would recommend to anyone who needs a bit of WiFi or a nice coffee.

Not sure what this sandwich was supposed to be. But resembled a tomato sauce butty with light dusting bacon flakes. All for an incredible price of £6. Coffee was okay

I realise just because you're ordering from Starbucks, doesn't guarantee a decent drink, it's rather inconsistent. We ordered two Frappicinos, one Strawberry and cream and the Halloween pumpkin spice one. They managed to completely mess up and gave us a Halloween pumpkin spice iced coffee, just look at my photo as proof, we didn't have the time so couldn't be bothered tell them. Staff ought to read the order label more carefully. The strawberries and cream was such a disappointment, bland, plain and simple. There was not much strawberry taste in the frappe at all. Customer care was lacking. A customer had managed to drop both their pumpkin spice drinks and was everywhere, it took two staff to clean this up, causing delays on serving customers in the queue.

"The branch is relatively crowded, but with good management, the ordered drink doesn't take long to arrive."

Wow what a Starbucks experience I went here with my client and we were amazed at the quality of the food and the outstanding service. Staff are amazing and always happy to help

When my drink order is correct, this place is great. However, i had issues with allergy milk not being correct, which would have been horrific for my baby. They need to take more care. When making the drinks they read the tickets correct!

Absolutely shocking. I ordered a hot drink to sit in, was served it in a takeaway cup - maybe they had run out of cups looking at the entire place littered with dirty cups on empty tables. It could have been they were busy but there was one pleasant girl making the drinks whilst the other 5 stood chatting. 5 people waiting for drinks and when no-one claimed one I asked what it was and less helpful girl said 'it says on them'. I left with a bitter taste, and it wasn't the coffee.

I came in to grab an Eggnog latte, which is my absolute favourite seasonal drink, but unfortunately there was an issue with delivery so they didn't have any. The two gentlemen (at the till and making the coffee) couldn't have been nicer though, and even gave me a voucher for a free drink to use at any Starbucks! An absolutely lovely thing to do, which they by no means had to do. Lovely place, lovely atmosphere, lovely staff

Popped in for a quick coffee. Typical Starbucks although there was not much food available today. High ceilings with glass windows meant it was challenging to have a conversation and I can imagine it would be hot in the summer. All staff were pleasant and friendly.

It's a Starbucks. I got a coffee. A pint cost me about £5. It was strikingly similar to every other Starbucks I've been to!

Nice coffee and friendly staff but cleaners must be on strike. Floor needs good hoover and mop and seating covered in crumbs. I got here early so can’t be detritus from today. Not pleasant.

Good service and staff but the queues can be a bit long sometimes. The town can get busy in the summer but more staff or a different way of working might help. Offering delivery via a partner like JustEat would be a game changer, especially for cold mornings this winter and I’m sure this will bring even more business.

Friday Eve , 3 staff cleaning up leaving one guy taking orders ,payments & preparing orders . The man in question got my order wrong ( 1 coffee).Very slow in preparation and the coffee was luke warm .All staff looked thoroughly miserable . Won't be returning

I like Starbucks coffee but was quite disappointed to see the way the drinks were made--- the work top area looked messy. The staff were using water the tap that had a kitchen wipe on top it dripping water into the cups for making drinks .

Pleasant cafe. Not too busy. Prices are high for what I got but no different to elsewhere. Flat white & almond croissant £6.50.

Large Starbucks on the promenade. Glasd front. Quick service. My tip is but filter coffee only £2 a cup. You can park on the front. Nice people watching spot.

Long queues, at both ends of counter. Manager choose to go for a break at 16:26 at the busiest time. Service by the two members of the team left In front of shop, carried their roles of brilliantly

Hit and miss whether the coffee is like it should be. We go in as a last resort. Tables unclean, floor around tables very unclean with what looks like days of dropped food and spilt coffee. Not a hygienic Starbucks to be in.

  • 2/5 Damien R. 2 years ago on Google
Only here for the good coffee. Too many excuses, "not doing iced drinks at the moment" & "its takeout cups only", seem all too regular staff comments. If i wanted a takeout cup for £4 I'd go to maccies 4 times! Terrible!!

Went on a Saturday afternoon, it was busy, I managed to find a table which was dirty and I had to clear it and wipe it down luckily I had some wipes in my bag. After a 10 minute wait and a couple of drinks sold out my partner brought over our drinks, will say I can recommend the white hot chocolate. Would I go again 🤔 it wouldn't be my first choice.

Layout upgrade since last visit. More spacious seating areas. Busy weekends. Good pit stop after a seafront walk.
