We had a two day break in New Brighton at the local travel lodge. Obviously we had to eat occasionally so we were really happy to find a Wetherspoons right there. We arrived in the area, put our bags in the room and went to get some lunch and a drink. We ate elsewhere that first night but had breakfast at The Master Mariner twice and an evening meal. Great food at a great price as usual. My curry filled me up and tasted fantastic while my wife had a steak night special. You really can't go wrong here, the service was quick and friendly and the food and drink is excellent and brilliant value.

Food was nice 🍻🥂🥙🍝friendly team🧔👩‍🦱👩👨 the only thing let it down for us was people was allowed to smoke 💨 🚬up on the top or on the tables outside,◻️🚭 which I thought the law said you had be away from the building 🏢?⛔

Typical Wetherspoons fare and prices, though the pub can get busy and fairly loud when sporting events are on. The building used to be a night club, now converted with upstairs seating as well as two layers of balcony out front.

Lovely decor! We love going for breakfast, gorgeous views over Perch Rock and Liverpool from upstairs upstairs. Lovely terrace in the summer both up and downstairs.

We walked out of one restaurant this lunchtime because we were appalled by their mega High Prices! We came here to Weatherspoons. Had Lunch for two, plus 2 drinks all cheaper that the place we just walked out of. Won't tell you it's name, but it has a fresh salad bar. Will never go back here now! Too Shocked! Weatherspoons was Fab. Staff Very Attentive. Food amazing and real great prices too.

On a mild but raining early JUNE Sunday would have thoroughly enjoyed a nice lunch. Shame nobody updated details to explain refurbishment until AUGUST 2022... Now it IS August but nobody answering the phone at 11:00 on Saturday 13/08/22... Too busy or still closed ? Regional manager should be fired for overlooking informing closure for potential customers. With tools at their fingertips they could have saved me an hour's journey (each way)... and they get PAID for passing on information... How about a few free meals please, Wetherspoons ? Only one star as I could not eat nor drink in this pub, and unable to mark Zero stars!

I normally rate Wetherspoon's food really well given the price but it always seems sub-par in this particular establishment. I have had to return my last 2 meals and one of them I had to request a refund. Never get a pleasant response either. Not Wetherspoon standard

A Weatherspoons pub on two levels. Plenty of outdoor seating,again on two levels. As always with a spoons establishment good food and drink selection. 10 minutes from the train station, and very handy if you're going to the theatre.

We came here for a drink after a walk down new Brighton promenade. They have a good track and trace system for COVID but then you get inside the pub and nothing is clean so pointless to be honest. Won’t be coming back any time soon

Very disappointed... everytime we visit a wetherspoons and order anything we an egg to an order they come up as hard as bullets.. can wetherspoons teach their youngsters to cook a egg which has the yolk nice and soft. Just like the customer likes it. I would like to invite the owner of wetherspoons to taste his own food for the experience.

My local. Great beer at great prices. A seat on the upstairs terrace outside gives you great views of the comings and goings on the Mersey. They've recently added vegan choices to the menu. Use the app to order and you don't even need to leave your seat.

It's a great example of the franchise. Toilets aren't too far downstairs unless you're on the top floor (they're in the basement). Food has always been spot on and service is usually pretty swift. Generally plenty of room to find a table.

I love a good Wetherspoons but not this one. Hard floor surfaces everywhere make for a cold and uninviting experience. Matched with dark and depressing wood tones throughout, I really didn't enjoy it. They have a decent outside seating area, but as I said the interior is way off. Staff, food and beers all great value. So thanks for that. Just up the warmth of the interior design for the next refurb.

Decent for cheap scran. Would have given 5 stars but the cutlery was a bit manky. It was soon replaced. Big shout out to Rosie too. Fantastic customer service. She deserves all the compliments that she truly deserves. Guaranteed to succeed

Pleasantly surprised. Service was just amazing, everything so quick and staff really friendly. Brilliant price as well. Will happily return.

Enjoyed a great meal off fish and chips. Staff seemed to be run off their feet, but were very friendly. The app makes ordering easy. Been here a few times, it is due to be expanded which is good news, I hope they take more advantage of the lovely views over the bay.

I was here for a quick lunch, in 10 minutes I had my own food! I've done the order from the Qrcode and it was very fast!

Nice pub great fresh fish and chips, with onion rings Just across the road from Travelodge

Food was below average. It was edible, but only just. Tables were left uncleared and sticky. Service was fairly quick. Not somewhere I'd visit again, or recommend. Shame because other wethies are pretty good.
