Great pub. Great atmosphere. Lovely beer. Small but pleasant beer garden.

Great beer and a potentially a great atmosphere, spoilt by the TV on a sports channel with the sound up *and* the radio on with for a different football game. This continued when the radio was switched off, to be replaced by some rather good music. Bizarre.

Cracking local pub,nice ale Guinness was nice and cold bar staff friendly would recommend for pint when in New Brighton only short walk from bus longer on train lol 😆😀👍 Derek moores

Great atmosphere here in a classic wirral pub, excellent band playing on the Friday that I was there.

Always enjoy my time here, officially now my local. Good live music and really enjoyed watching the football here, even brought sandwiches around at half time which is a nice touch you don't see often these days.

We popped in for a drink about 3 o'clock the staff are so friendly the customers also..decided to stay and watch the match great result for us ..then the group turned up after the game Mule Train really good brilliant songs some I hadn't herd for years will definitely be going again by the way we left at 10 o'clock

Great pub, great beer and cider. Spoilt by noisy televisions fighting a blaring radio that nobody appeared to be watching or listening to. 12 Jul 22: Much better music. No TV, just a selection of 70s prog playing!

A cracking pint of cask ale. Good selection too. Plus friendly locals. What more could you want from a pub?

Irish band were fun. Customers and owner all fussed over our dog. Very friendly.

Excellent as always. Our band (sandraiser) love playing here. We're always well looked after by Avril and Pete and their staff. The audiences we play to here are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. If you've never caught a band here please go and see one. Even if it's not us haha! 😂 Live music venues like stanleys cask are getting fewer and further apart. Support your local venues. If you love live music then the cask is a great place to go.

Great little pub with live bands. I've been going to Stanleys for years and it's always a good night. Saturday is the main night but check Friday and Sunday as well.

Brilliant Irish sessions here once a month. A lovely, friendly pub.

Lovley bright clean pub.. Barmaid was lovley everyone one was so friendly.. When someone left the barmaid would clean tables and chairs with sanitiser the place is spotless
