Unprofessional, rude, and awkward staff Edit: no reply button to respond to owners comment. Even their response is patronising. I'm not a robot. Twice we have come to Paneer and both times youve caused issues. Firstly with over charging us and refusing to explain the bill as you don't do itemised billing. You charged for drinks despite it being a bring it yourself. We explained this and you still tried to charge us for drinks you don't even sell. Then we try you once more, hoping it was just a bad day. On Monday I had a staff member stand about 3 ft behind me staring at me, what I politely asked why he just slowly walked off with no explanation. It was creepy and weird. When I told you we were here for a party of 11 you said"do you want the tables together or what? You can still hear each other anyway if we just leave it". I asked if e could have a table all together as it's a party and reluctantly you made up one the wrong size so I had to sort the tables out myself. Then I asked you not to take the birthday cakes until I had decorated them and you took them literallyin the same 30 seconds. When I asked for them back, you were awkward about it saying "you can do what you want" but not actually giving me the cakes back. I had to say multiple times please just give me the cakes. We were told by one member of staff "we cam hide the cakes but I'm not singing and you can bring it out yourself!" In a horrible tone. I don't care if I have to sing and bring them out but that was a rude way of telling me that information. My parents had rang the day before to confirm about a deal on the menu. When we arrive you tell us its wrong and then start shouting at us. Not one person in our party of 11 raised their voices and my mum had to ask the manager to step to one side to speak as he was raising his voice, being unhelpful and rude. So no, I'm not a robot, I don't care what reputation you think you have because you didn't live up to it one bit ! Both times we came we brought 11- 16 people and have more parties to plan but you will not be having our custom or recommendation

I visited Paneer for the first time and ordered tikka lamb chops to start and the Paneer balti special with lamb, absolutely delicious. The service was perfect, friendly staff and it was finished off with complimentary drinks. I read some poor reviews, don't be put off by them. We all enjoyed our meals and will definitely be returning.

It is a fantastic place now it has been taken over by new management the food is lovely and the staff are very professional The atmosphere and also the decorations is of a very high standard.

I came with my mate and had the samosas for starters and 2 drinks. Really lovely food and atmosphere and the staff are lovely 😊😊

We usually order in for Indian, but for a change we went in. The food was so good, fresh and filling. We may have waddled home. The service was great, no one pestered you for an order, they came when asked, the food was hot and delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Would not recommend this place at all as the food is not very good quality. I tried it once before and because I commented about the food being a bit hot they made every one of my dishes to extra hot and spicy on purpose I ordered lamb biryani it not post to be extra hot you did that by purpose! Don't act like your innocence. You can see the orange colour of the chili powder in the rice and you can see in the Madras it looks orange to. The reason you did that to me because you don't like being criticised on your food....

Just had a fantastic meal, first visit and will definitely come again, food was delicious and hot, staff were very attentive, one of the best sagwalla I've ever had and all for £80 including tip for 5 people and bonus was you can bring your own drinks.

Terrible service. Had to ask 3 times for the menu. Said we couldn't have our own drinks but wasn't told this when we booked. Finally got to order 1 drink off them and then they said we could have our own. Very disorganised.

Friendly and courteous staff. Made to feel so welcome and valued as customers. Hadn't visited Paneer since before initial lock down, but felt as though we had never been away. Food fabulous.

Absolutely unhappy!!! The customer service in this restaurant is a nightmare!!! I placed order for more than £30 and the guy started shouting at me, that I can't order a food next to beach! I politely asked him about my options And he basicaly told me to go f... myself and sort it with uber eats!!! Never ever again!

Wanted authentic Asuan Cuisine, but unfortunately did not state preference so got the Western version which was bland but edible, apart from the dips with the poppadoms. Portion sizes were good. Complimentary drink was a bonus 🥃

The food was 5 star. The guy who served us never smiled once. He didn't seem happy. But he served the food well apart from cleaning up and spilt curry on us and our clothes. Its was only a spot but it wouldn't of happened if he hadn't stretched across the table. Maybe he was new. We had starters and main and it was excellent. Recommended going here.

10 out of 10. Amazing food best pakora I've ever had and the chicken curry I had was perfect. Would easily recommend to anyone.

Good curry. Flavours between tomato based dishes could be more distinctive. But good overall.
