Good, proper chips. Lovely breaded plaice. Lovely friendly service. I was also going here because while the pandemic is on it’s been one of the very few chip shops that accepts card payment for chips: much, much more hygienic than cash.

Fish & chips each time have been freshly prepared, not just reheated. Presented in a box which is a little different. Staff really pleasant. Would really recommend 👌

This IS THE BEST chippy for miles! The chips are genuine chippy chips exactly the way they should look and taste. Chicken and chips is amazing and the carry, gravy and peas are fab!! It’s like going back in time to when I was young (70’s and 80’s) genuine excellent quality food 👍🏽

Absolutely great food, fish was cooked fresh and cooked perfectly, the batter was light and crisp and not oily at all. The staff were super friendly and it was easy to park up outside, even better was 2 mins drive from the beach so nice to sit in the evening sun and enjoy the meal afterwards. Portion size was great, not to big, not to small and felt like really good value. Would go again if I was in the area again.

Chips taste like oil hasn’t been changed ever noodle box’s taste like wok is burnt through and staff always make me feel like I’m inconveniencing them by going in and ordering,plus even simple orders like a fish 2 sausage and a ptn of chips can take up to half an hour , but otherwise good

I know not many chippies open right now but I feel really ripped off asked for two portions of chips two cartons of peas two cartons of curry £8.20 really , the chips were only a few the peas undercooked like bullets . really disappointed. wont be going there again think they have put prices up . disgusting .

The Big Fish was recommended by a friend. Went there tonight and wasn't disappointed. Friendly service, great portions, great price. Fish and chips delicious, how they used to be years ago. The whole family loved it. Highly recommend 10/10

Fish and Chips comes prepared in a well designed box and is made fresh while you wait! The best fish, the best chips, the best mush pees, the best curry sauce 10/10 all round!
