Spent
2
nights
here
last
week
with
my
two
teenage
daughters
as
we
were
attending
an
event
at
the
Albert
Dock
over
the
Mersey.
After
looking
at
hotels
in
Liverpool
and
being
quoted
near
on
£300
for
a
2
night
stay,
I
decided
that
we
would
stay
here
due
to
it's
location
and
the
price....
around
£150
cheaper.
The
hotel
is
in
the
centre
of
Birkenhead
and
next
to
one
of
the
Mersey
tunnel
entrances.
It
has
a
large
car
park
with
number
plate
recognition
which
you
pay
for
at
the
end
of
your
stay.
There's
a
machine
by
the
entrance
to
the
hotel
and
I
paid
£8
for
48hrs.
When
we
arrived
on
the
Friday
evening
we
were
greeted
by
the
delightful
Stacey.
She
really
is
an
asset
to
Premier
Inn.
Nothing
was
too
much
trouble
and
she
made
us
feel
like
old
friends.
Our
room
was
clean
and
tidy.
Flat
screen
tv
with
freeview
and
nice
comfy,
clean
beds.
There
really
isn't
much
option
for
eating
out
in
Birkenhead
so
we
ate
in
the
hotel
restaurant.
Food
was
well
cooked
and
reasonably
priced.
All
in
all,
a
good
hotel
in
a
great
location.
If
you
want
to
pop
over
to
Liverpool
and
don't
want
to
use
the
car,
the
hotel
is
within
a
15
minute
walk
from
the
ferry
terminal
and
Hamilton
Square
train
station
and
both
are
very
cheap!
Only
criticism
would
be
that
apart
from
the
bar
and
reception
areas,
the
stairs
and
corridors
to
bedrooms
are
a
bit
on
the
chilly
side
and
can
I
recommend
that
you
prop
the
bathroom
door
open
a
bit
as
there's
no
heating
in
the
bathrooms
and
that's
a
shock
to
the
system
when
using
the
loo
at
3am!🤣
