Gave 1 star because had to give it to leave a review. I have never seen a subway so dirty. Staff just about had a mask on. We had to tell him to change his gloves as he had just been moving boxes. He was not going to change them before serving us. A staff member picked drink stirrers up off the floor and put them back on the counter for people to use. We had to tell them to take olives off our food because apparently olives sounds like pickle. Would never go back again and advise everyone to avoid the worst Subway ever.

Called in for a sub at 19.00 hrs tonight. This as a small Subway franchise, so not difficult to keep clean. The place was filthy - lots of dropped food, napkins & rappers left under tables. Staff not interested, just hanging around chatting to their mates. Also very poor choice of salad available - didn't have any red onion, pickles, sweet corn, peppers - just tomatoes & lettuce really. Also only had a couple of slices of cheese left. Really surprised & disappointed at Subway.

The person not wearing a mask, (should be) whistling away over your food. The meatballs all dried out. Puts cold bol sauce on a so call hot sandwich it was yuk waste of money

I visted the new Brighton store on Sunday the 5th July 2020 Upon visiting I ordered a tuna toasted sandwich and having taken a bite of the sandwich I quickly realised something wasn't right in regards to the appearance of the sandwich, it contained green spores that appeared on the crown of the sandwich. Having speaking to a shift manager I explained that it appears that my sandwich was mouldy. He apologised and offered to make me a new one to which I refused and asked for a different sandwich instead of the toasted one. I also asked to see the date of the buns they had in stock that they were using at the time. He went behind the counter to check the date of the buns and then alerted me that there was no date on the buns and blamed a former member of staff for not throwing the buns in the waste the night before. I asked him what time he had been on shift since and he replied he had taken over the shift at 12pm on the Sunday the 5th july 2020. I then questioned him and asked why hadn't he carried out all of his checks correctly in regards to checking dates on products. He replied " sorry its my fault for not checking" I find this store very unprofessional and a find that there is a lack of communication between staff and customers.

I took my client here and he loved his chicken sub and he is looking forward to coming back here again. As always the staff are always happy to help with any unique requirements that you may have. Keep up the great work guys

Not bad for a quick snack when you are in a rush.

We went to the one at New Brighton, I'm sorry to say the place was a disgrace, the bin was overflowing so runbish was on the floor. The staff were not very happy or helpful, would never go back.

Sometimes only one member of staff. Staff pleasant and efficient.

Chicken teriyaki sub is always one of life's guilty little pleasures... This place also ups the ante, as the staff are also really friendly and polite - I've been in there both when it's quiet and when it's chock-full of screaming kids, and never had any problems. With the numerous cafés and bars around the area, it's also really nice to have the option of sandwiches and salad boxes, especially in the summer...

just ordered infood from here, food was a little late but not too bad. there was an issue though. my family had each ordered a meatball marinara sub with varying extras, however upon delivery we found that we'd instead been given pepperoni ??? it's of course normal that they'd run out of the meatballs, but not once did they ring us up to ask if it was a good substitute or if we'd like to cancel our order. after seeing what they chose to substitute, multiple family members attempted to call this place MULTIPLE TIMES EACH, only to not have anyone answer. bit rubbish that. like the least they can do is actually use their phone

I ordered a vegan plant patty salad box. They had no plant patties left so I chose vegan steak. They had run out of garlic and herb sauce. I asked for all salad apart from chillis. When I opened the box, there were no tomatoes, peppers or olives and there were chillis. The counter and food area appeared messy and dirty and the lad serving was on his own and unfriendly. I love subway but won’t be returning to this branch.

Ordered two meatball marinara subs from Just Eat, when they turned up they weren't meatball subs and had some sort pepperoni on them, with the wrong bread choice. One of the cookies was the wrong type too.

Out of the things I went for, only had white bread and was out of meatball marinara, the lad behind the counter was helpful and did his utmost to sort our order to suit. Food was good but not what we'd planned, still these things happen, was at a handover I think....

Food hygiene standards awful one pair of gloves to handle money preparation of food and operation of till . How many times has this happens before we spoke up disgusting.

Chicken tasted like plastic, place was dirty, almost everything we asked for was not available. It is not worth the money it costs.

I went here on the 29th September at 1730 and on the door sign says it closes at 6 when i tried door was locked and lights off very disappointed in this can't understand why they have closing times and close early wasted.journey

Every time I go to get my Tea here the lad there says cold sandwhiches only. Yesterday I asked what time that starts and he said 5.30 cause the toaster takes half an hour to cool down. I used to work in a few subways and this was never the case. I went in the other day at five and was told cold subs only as well. Should be discounted sandwhich if it's cold. The whole point is to have a warm tea. Get yourself to spoons or chicknhut for some nice tea instead ☺️✌️

Short on some fillings & expensive for basically a sandwich.

Normal Subway sandwiches and prices. Tasty and freshly made with your choice of fillings. The staff here are great though. Friendly and helpful

Worst subway ever been..Need the menu like soggy Nachos , dodgy patty, fake and cheese and on and on.…....…..... Terrible staff don't even knew how to pack.😡😡😡😡

Great salad box and meal deal for tea

We walked in at 20 mins before closing. The guy serving explained it had been a quiet time so he had started the clean down process. We all had different orders so he had to unpack loads from the fridge. Not a problem. He was friendly, chatty and happy to serve us although he was probably thinking "I hate you with a passion!" Would visit again just to meet that lovely and very tolerant guy.

Always good staff are lovely but like all subway outlets pricey for a sandwich but they are very nice
