Came to this little park while we were staying at the nearby Village Hotel. Found it on Google earth so thought it was worth an early evening stroll. Parked up in a nearby road then had a lovely stroll around the very secluded lake. Footpath is well maintained with the odd 'shoot off' path to the lake. Met a few dog walkers who told us more about the park and surrounding areas. Very easy to get lost as little signposting. Found ourselves backtracking the way we came in. Lovely wildlife around the lake and actually saw a family of bunny rabbits playing in and around the bushes and trees. A nice park to stroll around on a lovely summers evening although you feel quite isolated when going dark as to signage

We went there for the Knowsley parkrun and we loved it. It was the 24th December, so it was icy and cold, but beautiful! As usual the parkrun community was great! For those who do not know what parkrun is I thoroughly recommend research to find an event close by

Really pretty park, nice lake too! Can also fish at the lake here which is great, as long as you bring your fishing nets back with you! The amount that was left was awful. Fishermen, take your stuff with you if there's no bin around! Really bad for the wildlife here.

For me, a hidden gem of a park. Found this park "by accident". Absolutely loved it, fantastic place for a dog walk. Well maintained, clean both on path and off path

Always a treat to visit here on foot or bike offers some wonderful views over the lake with plenty of wildlife you won't be disappointed. You can go off the tarmac and use the gravel paths that do a few different directions to make it more interesting. Dog walkers enjoy this area, and there are a lot of benches to sit down and enjoy a break. My only point to make is that the motorway runs along it, so to enjoy a quiet visit, an early weekend visit would be best or where you head phones

Lovely dog walking place. Went with the family took 2 big doggies. Nice day out and few places to stretch & exercise. Each route clearly labelled too. Going to pop over quite often for walks as it’s quiet and large areas to keep separate from others πŸ˜€

Looking to take in the last of this years sunshine we went for a little walk around this park. Woodland, lake, open spaces. Easy to find your way round. It wasn't busy so didn't have to worry about virus spreading. I'll take a picnic next time

I have visited this wonderful park to walk two dogs I am sitting for at the moment. We all really enjoy the many grass runs that merge off the main paths (these are suitable for wheelchair/pushchair. Generally, it is quiet mid-week with a few more folks at the weekend. It has quite a few access points with plenty of parking. It is nicely layed out including woody areas, a pond and wild flower areas. A peaceful place to unwind, have a run, walk the dog, enjoy the children, personally I would like to see one or two more seats.

Really beautiful place to go for walks. Beautiful scenery sheltered away from the nearby motorway and housing estates. The noise of the cars became white noise as the birds sang louder πŸ˜„.

Would like the far side of the lake developed so you can walk all the way around. Suggest a wooden boardwalk.

Very muddy and wet even though it hasn't rained paths are only marked by colored arrows which gives no information and the motorway runs through it which is a constant noise and concern for dogs negotiating the fencing, my least favourite place.

Great place to walk or ride bikes with the kids, there are lots of different paths to take and it is well maintained. Some parking spread around the park, doesn't get too busy generally, plenty of birds and butterflies too.

πŸ‘ Lovely park, very well maintained and clean too. Not 5 stars, because of crowds of scallies on bikes hanging about under the light on the football/basketball court. There's also usually one bloke..sat on his own..on a bench..in the dark. I wonder what he's doing there...
