We've stayed here 3 times, its clean, basic and really well situated close to the path along the waterfront. There's good food in the deli next door. But main reason for reviewing is excellent staff - friendly and welcoming, and last time I left a computer mouse in our room and the staff packaged and returned it to me. 1st class.

Good value for money. We got a cheap room and expected very little. It was better than expected. Not five star but we didn't pay for five star. A little way from the centre but could be walked if you wanted. We drove and were parked and shopping in around 10 mins.

Clean and functional room, and location was convenient for event in Baltic triangle - but a long walk from town. Staff weren't around on arrival, so took a bit of waiting around to check in. Value was ok for a Friday night, but the rate for a Saturday would have felt very expensive. Delifonseca do a decent breakfast, and just a minute walk across the car park.

Extremely disappointing for a Travelodge I've stayed at a number of Travelodge's and always found them a good experience. This one however was different. All the norms of a Travelodge were there - comfortable bed, friendly welcome. But 2 major issues which we mentioned to reception on the 1st morning after arriving The showers had no shower gel . The toilet didn't flush so we had to get inventive and self flush pouring water from the kettle into the toilet bowl. Despite us mentioning on the Saturday morning these issues were not resolved by the time we left Sunday evening (We left a night early). I wouldn't stay at this Travelodge again as a result.

2 night stay - rooms very clean and comfy. Loved the shower, decent pressure and lovely warm water. Peaceful and quiet. I have given only 4 star as curtains were very thin so sun woke me up both mornings around 5am. You can walk to Baltic Triangle and Docks but getting into town is a bit of a trek so not very central. Free parking is added bonus ๐Ÿ˜

Very quite and a great restaurant and deli next to it. Had trouble checking in as no staff seemed to be around had to contact head office. Little out the way but only ยฃ6 taxi to get into main town.

We always stay here when we come up for our tattoos. The staff are always so so friendly and helpful. It's in a really convenient place and our rooms have always been clean and very quiet. I always reccomend to people staying in Liverpool because its very affordable and theres free parking aswell!

Perfect location for a quite nights sleep as it is out the city centre by about 1.5miles but it is a lovely walk along the river from the docks. Lovely clean fresh rooms. Staff are very polite. There is a bus on the main route in to city which is approx ยฃ2.30pp single fare. Also must add there a lovely restaurant and deli on the same car park serving a beautiful food. We had breakfast there.

The hotel can be hard to find, but itโ€™s worth it once youโ€™re there :) you get good views of the docks and the rooms are somewhat clean. Noticed a few stains on our curtains in our room but the room itself was good. Beds were comfortable, Staff are very friendly, parkingโ€™s alright. Apart from that, thereโ€™s a restaurant opposite the hotel too Would stay here again we have room 102 which is overlooking the docks.

Generally outdated Travelodge. Old style rooms with absolutely useless water pressure. Wasn't much noise from outside but plenty from inside. Staff were friendly. Location is deceptive, Liverpool Docks should be renamed Liverpool 30 minute walk from where you want to be on the docks.

Nice place to stay. A bit of a walk into town but manageable.

From the moment we walked through the door Alison on the reception was very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and clean and comfortable would stay there again

Very tired room, noisy with little sound isolation. Cramped, and the shower tiny with a curtain that makes it difficult to shower without touching it. Would not stay again, can get much better nearby for only a slightly higher room price.

Great accommodation in a lovely location to explore Liverpool. Staff were very helpful organising taxis for our night out. Rooms clean & functional.

Lovely place staff very friendly and helpful, itโ€™s advertised as Albert docks location which isnโ€™t necessarily true as itโ€™s a good 30 min walk, but taxi easy to book from reception and only cost about ยฃ5-ยฃ6 Room very clean but basic, bed comfortable and room warm enough, quiet hotel

I have never experienced such a great welcome at a Travelodge - top marks for a smiling face after we had been working in the rain!

Very nice place to stay. But takes about 40 minutes to walk to Albert Dock. There is a restaurant next-door that serves good food. But is only open till 18:00 .

Enjoyed a night here to explore Liverpool and the Christmas markets etc. with my partner. The 5 stars for the room is based on value....obviously it's not a 5 star hotel lol. The room itself was clean and tidy with no issues I'd like to share here. Well, okay, the shower wasn't particularly powerful or hot but it was perfectly functional. Staff were very friendly and helpful on both arrival and departure. Great location for sightseeing in Liverpool at a great rate, particularly when you take the onsite parking into consideration. There's also a restaurant and food hall opposite. What else can I say....we'd definitely check out the room rates and availability here, next time we're thinking about another trip to Liverpool. The photos are from around the city. Funnily enough, it didn't occur to me to take any of the Travelodge ha ha.

Very nice and quiet hotel, close to the centre but far enough away to be quite.

We've stayed before and will stay again! Location great for us as a good walk into centre and Albert Dock but not too close to town to be noisy. Staff a delight!

Travelodge standard room. Slightly smaller than we have stayed in at other sites. Left door hangar requesting fresh towels as nowhere to dry used ones. On returning to room that evening towels had not been changed, had to go to reception to get dry ones. Shower certainly not a power shower, more like standing under a watering can!! Reported to reception on leaving, apologised and thanked us for reporting it. Great location, good views, nice quiet room.

Stayed this weekend 12/08 with a friend! Tara on Reception was very helpful & rooms lovely & clean! Fab location too! Strange it only has 1 star tbh? Dee Newton

Ok, not Premier Inn quality but of course not their prices either. Rooms are functional and very basic indeed. Bath is tiny. We really missed Aircon!! There is a fan in each room but gosh they get hot. No restaurant facilities on-site. Well, not open when we were there. Long walk from Albert Docks. I would stay again perhaps for business or a quick overnight but this is not for a vacation really.

A little off the beaten track if you only use public transport. Staff I met were friendly. Shame they only have minimal (and in my view) expensive breakfast pack.

Nice place to stay on a budget but a bit further out than expected but a a bar and restaurant and a pub as well corner shop and launderette with 15 minutes bus stops close by but most buses that passed me whilst walking to Travelodge had a not in service sign

Perfect for short stopovers 30 minute walk to the city centre or 5mins in a taxi. Lovely friendly staff, nice clean room, ample car park would highly recommend.

Very nice. Quite comfortable rooms and great service. The shower and bath are a little difficult to figure out but except for that, very nice comfortable little cheap rooms :D

A good bolt hole if visiting Liverpool. Close.enough to walk into the city, but far enough away to avoid any noise. The staff were nice and friendly. Just don't expect the Ritz if you book this. Cheap and cheerful

I was placed here when arriving at the strand hotel after the hotel told me there was 'no room' for me despite booking months in advance. This is NOT city centre despite what Travelodge will try to tell you. Do no stay here without a car. There are no shops, food outlets, entertainment absolutely nothing near this hotel. Very disappointing from travelodge.

Good location 10 minutes walk from city centre, clean and tidy. Staff helpful when checking in.

The room was fine, simple and clean. But the staff are nowhere to be found, constant โ€œweโ€™ll be back in a minute โ€œ signage but with no one coming back and no one answering the phone line. I expect better from anywhere especially between 8-10 in the morning.

Very decent Hotel. About a 25 min walk to Pier Head. Interesting as you pass loads of sights. Free car park which was good hence why we picked it.

  • 4/5 Si M. 1 year ago on Google
Good staff, standard rooms. I would note tho to other to ensure they know this is not close to the dock that you may need!. As it tells clearly states but it seemed to be a confusion with others. 2 miles to LVL-IOM terminal

Just a short walk from Liverpool's attractions. Nice quiet location and best of all free parking.

  • 4/5 Warren H. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed 1 night here and was very similar to Premier Inn. Clean, tidy, comfortable and very reasonable in a very quiet location. Considering so close to city centre and dock area, very quiet. Also, like a lot of Premier Inns, there's no restaurant on site but independent one other side of car park.

NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THIS BUILDING! Rooms and hallways roasting hot during heatwave! But lovely and friendly staff, who quickly found me a fan (you have to request one) which only blew hot air around really. Windows can only be opened a few inches (for safety reasons). Simple, clean and quiet hotel with nice staff otherwise. Free car parking with plenty of spaces, foodhall/deli restaurant a few yards away.

Visited here for a little city break for my daughters birthday. Must say I stay in travelodge hotels a lot and this is the quietest most peaceful one I've stayed in! I had called the week before and spoke to James (I think ) to request a dock view which we was allocated and didn't dissapoint with a lovely view from our window. Staff was all very friendly and helpful from check in and housekeeping but especially Dot who hand delivered my daughters birthday card that I had sent directly to hotel. For us the hotel was ideal location as its close enough to the city centre to walk but far enough away to not disturb your sleep. And free parking a bonus. Will definitely stay again if I go back to Liverpool

Room was basic, but clean and served it's purpose. Could not complain. Staff pleasant and helpful. Lady on reception so busy on the desk and doing other jobs around the place. Yet still chatty and helpful enough to give advice and numbers for local taxis. Fantastic member of staff.
