Unfortunately I don’t have many positive things to say about this one, I stayed here for 6 nights, my room was facing the main road, was woken up every single day from 4AM with traffic, paid for my WIFI for a week which I could only use on my phone, no second device (which they say you can) so I had to reschedule zoom calls etc. Room was basic, good location for fast food. Far from the city centre. Just overall disappointing.

Location for us was the most important as we were visiting our daughter in the critical care at Walton Centre Neurological Hospital just up the road, 10 min's away by bus or 20/25 by foot. Rooms fairly basic but clean & tidy with no mould in the shower, my pet hate. Carpet was dirty & badly stained, and hadn't been vacuumed properly, if at all. No drawers at all which would be a pain if staying for any length of time. Not many electric sockets, but we are always prepared for that with extension leads etc. Beside the hotel is McDonald's, Subway & also a cafe. Close by is a KFC. There is a B & M opposite along with an Iceland and Poundland plus Superdrug. Down the road about half a mile is a carvery restaurant called Vikings Landing.

Lovely place but the other rooms were noisy between 23:00 and 1:00. Someone knocked at our door at 1 am. Very quiet at 4 am when I went to the toilet and at 7 am when I woke up

Hated my experience of staying here, thank god it was only 1 night. The place is not clean enough. There was a weird smell in our room and it's very noisy (take earplugs). The shower curtain was all ripped, they had covered up stains with paint, the curtains were stained, there were rips in the bedding. The pictures speak for themselves. I would not stay here again. The only positive about this hotel is that the parking is free and the staff were nice and friendly

Just another Travel lodge , Located in Fazakerly, off M57 , just outskirts of Liverpool city , not too far from Aintree university hospital and Aintree Race course. Ample parking space and local shops and restaurants nearby. Recommend it If you are travelling to Liverpool and planning to stay over night or two. At times you will find the rooms are fully booked out, hence given four star rating.

Stayed here before going to Liverpool match. Staff very friendly and helpful but the room was not great, very basic. The windows allow so much noise through, make sure you bring ear plugs if you want to sleep. Location was good. Room was clean but really needs updating

Staff are very friendly and the hotel is in a great location. There's nice restaurants and takeaways nearby (Nando's, Domino's, KFC, McDonald's) and a large cinema. You can travel straight to Liverpool town centre using the 19 bus too. Parking is free. The room was clean and the shower was decent. The hotel is right next to a dual carriageway, so it was pretty noisy. It didn't bother us, but it may be an issue if you're a light sleeper. We didn't notice any breakfast offerings, but there's a McDonald's right next door. Thanks for a great stay :)

The parking is free, although there isn't a great deal of it if you arrive at the wrong time. The guy on the front desk was very friendly and welcoming, he told us about a couple of food places that offer discounts if you show them your room key. The room itself was very clean and had everything we needed. Only 4 stars because I always begrudge paying more than £50 a night for a Travelodge. Right next to loads of food places (Domino's, Subway, McD's, KFC, Nandos & more) also not far from a cinema & bingo hall.

Rooms basic and spotlessly clean. . Service is super friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Location for us was handy for motorway and visiting Fazakerley hospital. Cinema and plenty of choices for food.. 20% off at viking pub when you show your room key who does great carvery, and great menue... straight run into the city centre...

I stay here every 16 weeks, when I go to The Walton Centre, as it's the nearest hotel to the Centre... and... on the East Lancashire Road... Rooms are spotless, Staff are accommodating and will do almost anything to help... The Travelodge, at Stonedale Retail Park, has a handful of shops around for MOST, IF NOT ALL your needs... I tend to stay 2 or 3 nights, and there's shops, like B&M, Card Factory, Superdrug, Poundland, and Iceland... For EATING OUT, there's the 24hr Drive-Thru, McDonald's next door, a KFC, Nando's, around the Retail Park, and Domino's, Breakfast Bar, and Subway UNDER the Travelodge... IF you have a car, directly opposite, at the front of the Travelodge, is a SHELL (?) Garage, selling Greggs, and Costa and slightly higher up from the Garage, there is a Starbucks (?) Restaurant... Unfortunately, I do NOT have a car, and crossing 8x LANES of TRAFFIC, to have a hot Cheese & Onion Pasty, does NOT appeal to me - especially, as I am completely BLIND... The only issue, I have with Travelodges (NOT Stonedale) is that BOOKING ON-LINE, (whether, for an extra room or any booking)... there ALWAYS seems to be a GLITCH on the website...!! Other people seem to have the same issues, either there are "NO ROOMS AVAILABLE " or when you go to "CONFIRM (your booking) and PAY..." the screen REFRESHES and you are back at the beginning...!! Meaning often enough, you have to "BOOK" through "CENTRAL BOOKINGS..." Unfortunately, doing it through "CENTRAL BOOKINGS" incurs a "HANDLING FEE" and the room you have been booking at a CHEAP PRICE, can DOUBLE...!! PLUS, to ring "CENTRAL BOOKINGS" is an "0871" number, and NOT a LOCAL or FREE NUMBER, which is NOT supported by my PACKAGE, on my MOBILE, and therefore, I have to "FIND" a LAND-LINE - which BUMPS the PRICE up more...

My room over looked the East Lancs and the traffic noise all night was horrendous even with the window closed. No soap in any of the dispensers. At 3am some fight broke out of the floor I was staying with women shouting and swearing in the corridor - police called was quite scary. Premier Inn next time

My room overlooking the main road was a bit noisy and sometimes I cant sleep without the window open. But we had a fantastic two nights the service was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the beds are very comfortable. Will be back

Never stayed here but went to the subway underneath and as usual great atmosphere from the staff and well made sandwiches unlike others that throw them together

It's ok for £39, me and my son attend the semi final 1st leg liverpool vs Arsenal in the league cup and decided we would sleep over and travel back down in the morning. The room and the bed was ok, the reason I'm giving 2 stars is, our room faced a main road and the traffic noise was ridiculous in the room. It felt like my bed was on the pavement next to the road, didnt get a good night sleep at all. Room 215 👎the window seals need looking at for sure

Good size rooms and comfortable beds but the rooms are not cleaned properly. the cleaners came in while I was at work and only changed a hand towell leaving the other dirty ones there which is not acceptable!!! even the bedding was not changed and after 6 nights of staying here it does get hot during night time so fresh bedding is needed.

room was freezing and the only heating a small electric wall heater switched it on should have had a fan but it didn't work. room very minimal with a small desk and small hanging rail, two egg cup size cups which for anyone with arthritis would have trouble holding. the room got warm about 10pm when we could remove our outdoor clothing and get to bed the single beds were the narrowest iv'e ever seen in a hotel anywhere. after a disturbed nights sleep got into the bathroom where the basin had a large crack in it, the shower could not be lowered and the ceiling was covered in mould due to lack of ventilation. room not very clean and window filthy this is a no star hotel and having booked 3 more nights before visit will happily forgo the none returnable cost. had 2 nights booked stayed 1 never again. very expensive for very poor accommodation never never again

Very poor, road noise was attrocious so no sleep, I left covered in flee bites so not at all happy and paid double the normal price because of events going on in Liverpool, next time I'll take a tent instead.

We stayed at the Stonedale Travelodge for 3 Nights in May2021.The hotel was well situated for everything we wanted to do. Considering it was so hot when we stayed it was really considerate of the hotel to provide us with a Fan and a light weight sheet to sleep under. There were a few down sides but we just made the best of what we had. We would definitely stay again. 😁
