An
unusual
setup
combining
model
shop
and
cafe!
However,
it
worked!
I
had
child
sitting
responsibilities
whilst
my
other
half
went
shopping
at
Liverpool
One.
To
prevent
the
howls
of
protest
from
my
14
year
old
of
spending
ages
with
me
looking
(slowly)
round
a
model
shop
I
was
able
to
promise
a
piece
of
cake.
The
cake
was
delicious
and
the
coffee
was
excellent.
Although
looking
quite
traditional
the
café
does
all
the
main
types
of
coffee
you'd
expect.
There
is
a
compromise
though
with
the
selection
of
models
not
being
as
extensive
as
most
would
expect
in
a
model
shop.
My
interest
is
n
gauge
railways
and
although
I
did
spot
a
second
hand
Peco
grain
wagon
that
I
eventually
purchased
the
selection
was
limited.
If
you
like
kit
building
models
then
there
did
appear
to
be
a
much
better
offer.
However,
I
suspect
the
quality
of
this
so
was
in
the
servicing
the
chap
behind
the
counter
could
provide
for
upgrading
to
DCC
or
sorting
out
dysfunctional
models.
I
had
an
hour
long
conversation
with
him,
in
which
he
showed
me
how
to
wire
a
DCC
chip
onto
a
loco!
I
certainly
didn't
recognise
anyone's
comments
about
unfriendliness
as
apart
from
sitting
me
in
their
front
room
I
don't
know
if
they
could
have
been
any
friendlier.
To
summarise,
great
little
cafe
in
unique
setting
and
a
good
model
shop
where
you
can
get
a
few
basics
and
sort
out
your
troublesome
engines.
