Staff lady Toni is a great representative of the company. She's very happy when dealing with customers. I advise of a promotion, she's a rate talent.

Very clean. Lovely showers. Nice beds. The only reason for 4* is because parking is not free. In my case the parking was 1/5 the hotel room cost.

We are staying here for a friend’s wedding. We checked into two rooms we have three kids with us. The reception staff are wonderful. Amy went out of her way to sort out our room bookings and ensure we had rooms together. Rooms were spacious abd comfortable. Very clean. Loved the beds and bedding was clean and comfy. What more could you ask for. Again I have to give a shout out the front staff including the security guard because they really make your day. Always saying hello to the kids and greeting you with a smile. A true credit to this hotel every single one of them! Id definitely stay again! Thanks a lot!

Car park side is what I would recommend. It's nice and quiet. Very comfortable beds. Had a great night sleep, thanks to Leanne for the extra pillows, tea, sugar and milk she was so very helpful. Lovely relaxing time.

Started off all good, nice room with a decent view and lighting. Although about an hour into my stay, a staff member walked in without knocking just as I was about to slip in the sausage, this resulted in me feeling anxious for the rest of the night but we still managed to go for 9 hard rounds. One positive about the hotel was the giant bathroom mirror I used to admire my handsomeness.

Rooms are good value for money. Parking will cost you but reasonable, I guess. My only gripe was the cost and the customer service at the contact center(rather lack of it) Appalling customer services. Advisers only following poor unreasonable policies, but delivery and empathy are poor. To be honest I probably will use it again as convenient and reasonably priced.

The most basic of basic, and room quite small, but that's really picking at things. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable, did the job and enjoyed my stay.

It was me and my partner's first time staying here and we really enjoyed it. We had 1 night stay and we made most of it. We will return as its a lovely hotel.

Nobody on reception half the time , can't blame the Staff they were having to help out with the cleaning , noticed few staying there were homeless people and not respecting the property/accomodation , we also had strong smell of cannabis on 4th floor , Management should look into it especially if they were non-paying guests

Another stay at a Travelodge. Did have to wait a while to check in as the lady was on her own but not her fault. Very good and friendly service from staff member 'Amy'. The room was tidy and clean, slept well just wish they had a lined net under the curtains cause it's light at 4am.

Normal travelodge, staff members at check-in were polite and friendly, Amy and the Travelodge bear. Carpets dirty and stained. Bed comfy, we knew sheets were new as the sticker was left on them. Curtains are too small, and they need blackout lining adding.

Family room big, needed a more thorough clean- chip in corner or room, carpet discoloured and hair on door. We had to ask for more towels and reception was unmanned when we got there but polite when they finally checked us in. Shower in bathtub was great. Directly opposite large Tesco, greggs etc. to the right of the hotel is an English Indian restaurant. Parking limited.

The room was fine and reception staff was friendly. Having said that the fan in the bathroom wasn't working, the air conditioning was locked on cool and although we paid for late check out we still had the cleaning staff knocking on our door to asking us to get out. It took the cleaning lady 3 seconds to check if it said on the list that we were indeed down for late checkout. Why not do it before?

Travelodge Hotel made my 7-night stay truly exceptional, and the helpful staff, particularly Emma, made all the difference. Her genuine care and personalized recommendations added a special touch to my experience. When we needed help changing rooms, Emma was there and made sure it was done promptly; she deserves a promotion! The overall assistance from the staff was outstanding, making my stay even more enjoyable. Can't wait to return!

It was filthy to say the least, stains all over the carpet, unclean beds as I found a blood stain on the bed ?? bright red too which means it had to have been fresh and to top this all off I found either a Bed bug or Tick crawling on the bed, I wasn’t able to record but did manage to take a picture before I killed it, when I went downstairs to complain the lady at the check-in desk was incredibly nonchalant about the fact the bed/room is bug infested. I wasn’t able to speak to the manager (Bernie) directly as they weren’t working that day and I wasn’t given an apology nor compensation for the fact I slept in a disgusting bug infested room/bed. Lack of accountability dealing with this issue and they have a complete disregard for their guests and are quite happy to sell a room that’s bug infested with no refund or apology.

Did exactly what it should, clean room, everything worked and a really comfy bed. Bathroom spotless, soft clean towels. Nice and quiet and parking outside(payable). 2nd stay here to break up a long drive, highly recommended.

Rooms are always clean and comfy reception were good but when you spend over 50 you would think you would get a better deal om parking.... was there 1 night but options were 4 hours or 24hrs so had to get 24hr parking when onky there for less than 12

I have been staying to be nearer work. Neil has always been very helpful , cheerful and professional and always to make its travellers feel welcome, well cared for and comfortable. He is always considerate. Staff look after my bags before I check in so that I can go to work. Neil and his colleagues just can't do enough for you. I've given 5 stars for the excellent service all staff give here. Just what a budget hotel needs to improve its star and bad press Linda S

Stop accepting bookings from the council especially from families with kids . How do u expect them to feed the littles ones especially when they got to stay for weeks before being provided with accommodation. Am here with my son under 5 he need food and he is tired of fast food and above all it’s not healthy and very expensive just because u guys were greedy to accept money from the council and don’t care about the well-being of individuals. Greedy world . Stop accepting bookings from the council. Unless u guys plan to provide feeding for the kids . For Myself I do not care but my son needs food .

There is no bar or restaurant here which is a downer, rooms are clean, staff polite and helpful. Lovely hot water and heating in the rooms. Beds and pillows are comfy, bedding are clean. There's a TV in room but remote in many travelodges have no backing on remotes. No idea why 🤷‍♀️. Plenty of food shops and pubs near by. Walsall in general has changed a lot over the years, many empty shops and seems very quiet for the Xmas time of year.

I booked a room on a bed and breakfast rate but there is no restaurant here. They sell breakfast boxes of cereal, juice, pastry but it is not appetitising. The hotel is beside a McDonald's and across the road from a Greggs and very large Tesco. Staff were jot always at the desk. When they were present, they were pleasent enough. Wifi is available for a short while for free or for a fee. The television in my room did not work.

Very basic, and a little tired, average bed at best and breakfast in a box you have to pay for. Helpful staff and clean room.

Was visiting Birmingham but wanted to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city at night. Really conveniently located for Walsall train and bus station. There is a huge Tesco,a Gregg's and a McDonald's within spitting distance so easy to get a quick bite to eat. My room faced onto the street but there was no noise issue. Room was comfortable and I slept well. Marked down for service as reception was unmanned when I arrived to check in and as I was leaving

We had a lovely stay apart from this morning i paid for the late checkout but instead of the women looking at our booking she came up & said weve got to leave😑 she was rude.

The lady on Reception moved me to an accessible room when she realised I couldn't get in to a bath. Room very clean and comfortable. Will go back.

Very clean, staff helpful and friendly. But don't use the postcode on the website to find the hotel, the satnav sends you to an overflow car park. Use this one; WS2 8EZ This postcode will get you to the hotel entrance.
