I really enjoyed living close to Clayhanger Common. It's got just enough pathway, and just enough wild to feel accessible and yet somehow remote. I liked finding my way into the lesser known clearings where paths have been forgotten, and happening upon deer lying in the grass. It's a chance to escape within easy reach.

Open areas and good canal walks with varied wildlife for example wild geese/birds fish viewable in canal, and if you are lucky enough at the right time of day, Deers all in all a great walk changing daily along with the weather. Always a treat for the family

Clayhanger Common is a beautiful place to get away from the noise and stress of town living. The reserve is full of natural beauty if you take time to stop and breathe it in. A great place to walk your dog (as long as you pick up the poop). Community spirit is high with lots of litter picks happening to keep the reserve litter free.

It is so lovely quiet peaceful walks. If anyone needs a drink or something to eat. Cross the bridge Brownhills is only minutes away, plenty of cafes and a Costa cafe. Certainly worth a visit.
