I had an awful experience last month. We were celebrating our birthday weekend and decided to have a meal. Very friendly service at first when ordering. As the food took over 40 minutes to arrive I decided to cancel the order as I had a low blood sugar and needed to treat this. I gave a rationale as to why I cancelled and the waitress said I did say it would be 30 minutes. I replied no you didn’t and she then repeatedly said to me ‘so you’re calling me a liar’ I was very taken aback by this as it very aggressive behaviour. I spoke to the manager over the phone due to low blood sugar and his response was shocking. He offered no apology and was in support of his staff. I definitely do not recommend this place as the customer service is shocking.

It’s really beautiful here; it’s clean, it’s organised and has a variety of plants and gardening tools. There was a lovely bakery/cafe where you can sit and have a chat. There was also a goodies shop and interestingly lots of QR codes that took you to useful websites. This was good for me as it was my first time gardening. I probably wouldn’t shop here again though because the stuff was overpriced. You can definitely find certain things cheaper elsewhere but it’s a nice day out.

First visit here with an old pal, despite both of us living in the area for a loooong time. More than pleasantly surprised at the overall size of the place, and how lovely it was. There's a Cafe towards the rear, with seating both inside and out. Cakes looked rather good (and well priced compared to the competition down the road), so indulged with a flat white outside. Have to say that both my friend's cappuccino and my flat white were not up to standard. Apparently they're about to upgrade the whole Cafe area, and hopefully someone will have the sense to invest in a decent coffee system. Oh, and must give a mention to the excellent Deli.

Not sure why I've not heard of this place before, I was told this place would have soil for succulent after going to 4 garden centres and Pacific saved my aloe!! had such a great variety of indoor and outdoor plants, plus everything you may need to create you garden wonderland, they also sell fruit and veg, fresh cakes and a lovely restaurant that was very busy so assuming they are good, the Christmas decorations was up so I will return with my kids to enjoy and have a proper shop rather than a quick run in to grab essential

Probably the best garden centre I've ever been to. It's huge but cleverly laid out so it didn't overwhelm. Nice cafe with good choices on the menu. A really pleasant visit.

Great place for a range of beautiful house plants and they have a lovely farm shop too. Visit around Christmas time to see all the festive decorations! 🎄

Wonderful lunch, shame we were too full to sample the cakes because they looked delicious. Friendly staff & lovely things on sale. Well worth a visit.

Lovely staff and nice cafe. Wheelchairs available at the entrance. Lots of parking. Good selection of plants, furniture. Good prices too. Clean toilets and a good returns policy. Will definitely visit again with my mum.

Quick efficient service in the cafe. Staff bring your order to your table. Lighting very dim. Noisy from a full restaurant. Food portions were good.

I have zero knowledge when it comes to plants and gardens. Member staff I met was extremely helpful. Showed me around, gave me very good advice. Very pleased with experience and hope to go back and try the cafe.

I have to express how really disappointed in the Cafe service I am today, and its organisation (or lack of). We got there today and joined the queue at 2.10 knowing last orders were 2.15. Stood in the queue whilst food orders were taken, the person in front of us was served to food after 2.15, no one behind us, and they refused to serve us. We go here most weekends, asked to speak with the manageress, who to be honest, really didn't care. I understand there has to be a cut off, but when the person in front is served after the cut off, and thete is no one behind you, it seems very unfair. Not that it will bother you, but Pacific has lost a very loyal customer today. We spend at least a £1000 a year in your garden centre, my husbands business spends the same everybyesr without fail, and we probably spend around £700 a year in the Cafe. Throughout covid, we continued buying plants from you and paid for delivery whilst you were closed to the public. Thank you!!

A lovely garden nursery. Busy, so clearly popular. I was after some winter bedding plants and heathers, and was able to find a good selection. However, they also have a nice range of gifts and foods to buy. I didn’t try the restaurant on this occasion, but met some friends coming out who eat there fairly regularly and enjoy it.

I am writing this review as I was looking forward to a lovely birthday lunch but unfortunately turned into a disappointing and horrendous event: I phoned the cafe the day before to book our table for lunch at1.30 on 29th August paying £15 deposit after being asked numerous questions. On arrival, we were told that we had been booked in for afternoon tea as that was the only thing they take bookings for. I was unaware by booking a table , I was booking a table for afternoon tea, not lunch as I’d asked for. After several heated discussions with the cafe waitresses and manager they decided that we must have been told it was an afternoon tea that I’d booked. This was not the case and almost felt accused of not telling the truth. The manager continued to say they were out of pocket as the food had previously been prepared. The manager did offer to refund half of the £15 deposit paid but my friend who was paying for the occasion payed the £15 because we we made to feel guilty. The dispute was resolved eventually but we felt so upset as we ate our lunch. We have always enjoyed our experience of dining at Pacific many times. Also, buying gifts and plants BUT we will not be making any plans to return to the cafe in the near future.

Ordered 20 hampers for our elderly lunch club group & they are excellent quality and presented really nicely. Lovely helpful staff on site and a clean & welcoming venue

Lovely garden centre. Disappointed with restaurant vegetarian breakfast offering - no vegetarian sausage. Instead it is offered with hash browns. Poor show, shows lack of effort. Had eggs on toast - which was good, but would have preferred a breakfast. Disappointing.
