Fine dining with a clear conscience. In the Bio Restaurant 1950, Simon Tress serves a menu made from regional and sustainably produced ingredients. A concept that works. You can feel the passion, the history of the family and it tastes good. Point. The origin and CO2 emissions of each product used are shown and explained in an appealing way. The atmosphere is super cozy and can only accommodate 12-14 people, creating a pleasantly intimate atmosphere. You can follow every step of the chefs in the open kitchen while looking forward to the next course. You pay what you get. A vegetarian 5-course menu. Meat is optionally available as a side dish. I would only like the selection of wines to be even larger. There is also a large selection of biodynamic wines, which I still miss here. We'll definitely be back soon!

We had a wonderful evening, thanks to Simon Tress and the whole team! The menu was unique and was perfectly complemented by the wine pairing. The concept of the organic / Demeter CO2 menu with complete transparency about all ingredients and producers as well as the CO2 footprint was a great experience and creates a great connection to what you eat. What's more, you can be there live during the preparation. The service was super friendly and accommodating. The price-performance ratio is more than reasonable - the quality and sophistication of the menu was at the highest level. Conclusion: It couldn't be better, we'd love to come back and are looking forward to the next menu!

Yesterday we were with Simon Tress and his team for the third time at the wonderful '1950' and once again had a fantastic evening full of surprises and special moments. The menu, which changes quarterly, offers new dishes every time. The service was very courteous without being intrusive. The consistent implementation of regionality, organic and sustainability is incredibly impressive. The food is of excellent quality, the cream sauces are a poem. So far we have always had the non-alcoholic menu accompaniment which went fantastically with the dishes. Yesterday we had the wine accompaniment for the first time, which was also of excellent quality and surprising flavors. We will definitely come back, the journey is worth it every time.

Very good quality and service. Mainly vegan food, meat can be ordered separately. The only point of criticism: a mushroom ragout that consists half of seitan, although this is not mentioned on the menu. Local mushrooms would have made more sense here.

We were 14 people as a team event at Simon - MEGA. We had a 6-course menu over 4 hours, everything was vegetarian at its best, meat (duck for us) was served upon request. Simply delicious, gladly again.

The processing of all the products from the local area is really exemplary and very creative. You can still taste every single ingredient in its original form.
