HOW TO ENTER- don't be nervous to enter this whimsical yard of peace. There is a gate in the front by the sidewalk. Or you can go up the driveway and there's a gate to your left. This place is magical. Thank you to the owner for sharing. I will be coming back soon. The property is much much larger than you think. It is such a special place. Don't be nervous!

A short walk along Jim Browsher's driveway transports you into another world. This space reflects one man's carefully curated idea of all humanity regardless of culture or creed living in harmony. The Temple of Tolerance is a great way to spend a few hours with your kids or even by yourself for a time of quiet reflection. Would recommend if you're ever near Wapakoneta Ohio.

I don't know what I was expecting, but this place actually blew me away. The fact that one man put this all together without the use of heavy equipment makes this place even more amazing. I had the opportunity to meet the man responsible for this place, Bill, to ask how he could accomplish this. He laughed and said levitation, and I almost believed him. He has turned his normal shotgun lot into an archeological phenomenon. Every square inch is covered with some old artifact, including the bricks on the ground. All I can say is that this place needs to be experienced to truly appreciate it. It fills your eyes as well as your soul.

Completely free to go to. Rock garden in the back and wow, you can walk up there and sit. I wonder if they ever use the fire pit. Apparently the owner of the home actually lives there. But you are able to go out back and on the porch. There is a donation box. I am seeing in other comments that on Thursdays sometimes in the past there is blue grass music. Apparently some people have also done weddings here.

There ainโ€™t no signs pointing to this place. You walk down a driveway past a residential home, and then down labyrinthine paths toโ€ฆwow. A manโ€™s vision (Jim Bowsher) and his 18 years worth of work, messages, and memorials. Itโ€™s a backyard world thatโ€™s all in its own. Amazing, unpredictable, hidden, and memorable.

An amazing little hidden gem. Highly recommend. Do not let the fact it seems to be someoneโ€™s private yard you are walking into. You will not be disappointed. Put bug spray on as it is overgrown but itโ€™s beautiful. And just keep walking and exploring. It truly is peaceful Appreciate everything. There was a lot of work put into this. Thank you for sharing.

Great way to spend an hour or two, especially with kids of any age. I highly recommend to people passing through looking to take a little break on a road trip or locals looking for something interesting and free. Bring a snack and enjoy it on top of the Temple! My kids (4 and 7) had a blast exploring all the little nooks and crannies.

I started visiting this amazing place atleast 10 years ago. I find it to be very peaceful and thought provoking. my family and I pack picnic lunches and eat at the handmade rock tables. we love to swing in the chair and play freeze tag. it's completely free and ooen anytime. it has many monuments for political oppositions and is a great place to just relax and learn. everyone should see this place and share their stories so that more people can partake. I enjoy the many pieces of landmarks and art from all over Ohio and from so many visitors.. I love going here. hace years of great memories

The Temple of Tolerance is amazing. The owner is a local gem and has opened this area to the public. Every stone is catalogued, according to him (I had the pleasure of seeing him speak at a college Social Diversity course) and each artifact has a significance. Just magical to see. I took my kids often and it just so neat. 10 stars

What an amazing place! I grew up in Wapakoneta, Ohio but knew nothing of this place. I learned about it from my Airbnb owner Michelle. She was so right about learning about life and the "path" that we are all on. Meeting Jim Bowsher was a highlight of my trip. He was very enlightening and cordial while we spoke for a half hour. I'll never forget my visit to the Temple of Tolerance and encourage everyone to visit. ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ

The Temple of Tolerance is a fun find in Wapakaneta. The kids pretended they were mountain climbers and there was something new to see at every turn. We'll be back when it's warmer!

The energy radiating from this incredible collection of artifacts and treasures was immaculate ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’™ I suggest a visit when the weather is comfortable enough to go bare foot (once you reach the grass, it gets a little pokey) ๐Ÿ˜Œ

An incredible outlier in Wapakoneta, Ohio is The Temple of Tolerance Rock Garden. We had the grace to meet creator Jim B. both times we stepped onto the sacred grounds. The beauty, creations and intent of this place to be a peaceful haven for troubled souls abides here. Enormous rock structures, trees and unusual artifacts invite your being to settle. Give yourself this gift.

This place is so beautiful, it has definitely been added to since I was there last! Jim B. Was there today, got to say hi :) told him it was my husbands first time here, he smiled, and told us to enjoy our time here. Nice place to be able to come visit and look at the scenery. I took many other pictures. Just some to show for amazing review, if you go visit please have much respect for this manโ€™s property and work of art. Itโ€™s a nice place to be able to visit! It amazing how much work he has put into this place! Canโ€™t give him enough credit!

It's unbelievable what this man did in honor of peace and tranquility. I so wish I knew a landscaper who would donate time to help remove extra vines and trim trees. The place is very peaceful and you can bring a lunch while you enjoy different stone structures. How he got those stones there and built these structures is a puzzle to me. There's a donation box at the front by the house and you enter up the driveway to the gate on the left. There is no entry fee. So please be generous and donate on the way out.
