Their specialty drinks are amazing. The cafe owner is a very sweet lady. The prices are reasonable. I come every day. It is a modern cafe and the music is very nice. Be sure to stop by when you come to Kandy

Nice coffee shop near the lake with friendly owners. We enjoyed our time there while relaxing from the crowds in the city center. Coffee is really good which is hard to find in Sri Lanka and we tried delicious smoothie bowl. Highly recommend going there :)

Sweet Beans is a cute vegan cafe near Kandy lake. It is the perfect place for a quick coffee or bite to eat. The staff are so lovely and will definitely put a smile on your face! The cafe also has free WiFi which makes it a great co-working space.

The owner is so friendly, we tried the chickpea masala sandwich and the chickpea/mushrooms wraps. So delicious we went back. The mango Milkshake was excellent too, not too sweet and clearly all freshly made. There are two tables outside with a like view (if the vehicles are obscuring the view) and 2 tables inside, plus wall seating, so it's pretty small and gets busier in the afternoon. Highly recommend popping in here after your lake stroll, it's also next to the Kandy culture club if you've booked tickets to the dance.

Nice young owners, who recently started this restaurant. They understand the vision of healthy & fresh food and are ambitious to spread their love for it. I can so appreciate this. Casual atmosphere, great menu, delicious fresh bean coffee and everything locally and freshly bought. Highly recommended!!! Kandy needs this as a counterpoint to all the (unhealthy) fast food restaurants. If i will be back in Kandy i will defently will return here. Best wishes for your future, keep up the good work ❤️

A very nice and cozy cafe in the center of Kandy. We ordered avocado toast - a large portion and everything was delicious. The cappuccino was also tasty. The girls there are polite and friendly. I recommend 🙌🏻

I didn’t rate food as I only had an ice coffee. This small little coffee cafe was lovely to sit while I waited for the Kandy cultural show to start. The staff were really lovely friendly and gave me the names of many places around Kandy that I will now visit. Oh they also helped me with my phone settings. Highly recommended

Super sweet and modern place nearby the lake, really good coffee and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They do offer coffee to go but I'd recommend to stay and have a chat with the people. I didn't try the cake but it also looked very tasty.

Accidentally I stumbled upon this beautiful coffeeshop. But then I found out it is not only a coffeeshop but also a vegan breakfast-/lunchplace. I thought it was quite special, because it is the first of its kind here in Kandy. The people that are running it are very friendly and I stayed here for some time, talking to them and a lovely french couple. The food is great, coffee makes me happy anyway, and it is a great place to just sit the day away. Definitely check it out when you are around and give Sahan and Meenu my love! Edit: I've been back many times and always have good fun with each other. Thanks guys!

Perfect place to have a vegan breakfast right by the lake! Staff were very accommodating when I couldn’t decide what to have in the wrap they let me have both chickpeas and mushrooms! Delicious, tasty, fresh!

Great place for breakfast, I hope to come back tomorrow. The masala chickpea sandwich was super tasty and cappuccino also great, with a view across some cars to the lake. The staff were friendly and fun, the music relaxing.

I visited Sweet Beans for the first time last week and ordered a winterberry and brownie, AND it’s safe to say that I will be back again! 🤗 The service was exceptional and It’s such a cute little spot as well. Definitely worth trying!

I had a good time in Sweat Beans. The place is very nice, the staff is welcoming and friendly. They give me some tips and suggestions for trekking and places to visit. Passione fruit juice is very tasty.

Life is so wonderful when you siting in an sweet coffee shop listen to the soft musics in the rain next to the lake. The only thing you can do is chilling. A piece of mind on your trip makes it even more unforgettable.

I discovered this place in Kandy, located by the side of Kandy Lake with a beautiful dining view. I’m vegan and the place is well suited for me because everything is based on plants. I had a creamy mushroom wrap and that was very delicious and looks very cool. I could feel lots of different tastes in it. Chips are so crunchy and yummy, you cannot get over it;). Also, the staff is so lovely and generous. I had wonderful time there. Highly recommended!!✨

Had a really lovely breakfast here! I got there a bit early as they were just opening up and they were super welcoming. I had the Ceylon smoothie bowl (more like a porridge) and a latte. The food was beautiful, delicious, and felt really nourishing. Def recommend!
