I
booked
the
hotel
through
goibibo
website.
However,
when
reached
hotel
at
8:15
PM
(my
preferred
check-in
time)
the
receptionist
refused
to
let
me
check-in.
Receptionist
was
not
satisfied
with
the
tariff
and
also
had
old
payment
issues
with
OYO
and
goibibo.
I
called
to
customer
support
immediately
(OYO
number
given
on
the
pay
slip).
Later,
customer
support
representative
also
talked
to
receptionist,
however
the
receptionist
did
not
agree
to
let
me
check-in.
Customer
support
engaged
me
over
phone
for
about
1.5
hr
in
vain,
despite
my
request
to
cancel
the
booking
and
refund
completely.
I
had
an
interview
the
next
morning,
therefore
booked
the
same
hotel
at
much
higher
price
(due
to
night
time
and
being
new
to
the
place).
The
hotel
room
was
good
and
spacious,
however
the
bath
room
was
very
small.
The
hotel
provided
drinking
water
in
an
old
Kinley
bottle
(which
I
came
to
know
in
the
morning,
as
it
was
not
sealed
and
taste
was
strange).
Thus,
putting
the
health
and
hygiene
at
risk.
Ground
floor
of
the
hotel
had
a
big
bar,
thus
one
should
think
twice
before
booking
it
when
with
family.
Overall
,
I
had
a
very
bad
experience.
After,
completing
the
trip
I
lodged
an
official
complaint
with
goibibo
and
requested
for
refund.
thankfully,
they
refunded
the
money
after
confirming
with
the
hotel.
