Very unfriendly staff! After a lady asked me if she could tell me can help, my dilemma began... I wanted to buy an after sun product from a certain brand, but they didn't have it locally. I added that I am sensitive to some ingredients. The saleswoman apparently had the impression that I couldn't afford anything there, which was then pointed out to me with the words "I don't know if we have anything in her price range." I think I can decide for myself what I can afford or not. Apart from that, my monthly income is guaranteed to be higher than yours. Well, slightly overwhelmed by the fact that there was something to sell me. A total of 3 saleswomen in front of me, none of whom could help me. I was repeatedly looked over from head to toe. ... I then left, feeling very uncomfortable and simply not welcome. I was given excellent advice at the pharmacy next door. I will never set foot in a Douglas branch again.

When asked about a cheaper alternative to a fragrance, the saleswoman replied “We only sell originals here” and turned away with a roll of her eyes. Short gray hair, the lady is not included in the sale ✌🏼

Ich hatte auf ein Beratungsgespräch gehofft. Doch ich wurde schnell auf die Produkte der Douglas-Eigenmarke hin gewiesen. Alternativen wurden mir nicht gezeigt. Das Gespräch war sehr unangenehm. Die Verkäuferin hatte nur Interesse mir etwas zu verkaufen. Zudem machte sie einen inkompetenten Eindruck.

Warning. At Douglas you pay too much!! What happened to me (in another branch): I bought a perfume in the store and paid €106 for it. When we later looked at the Douglas website, the same €98 perfume appeared to be on offer for €78.09. So I paid almost €28.00 too much! A query with Douglas showed me that this is possible. The prices on the website and in the store are not the same. If you complain at checkout, Douglas will charge the lowest price. I simply feel cheated by Douglas and advise everyone to pay close attention to the prices. Better yet: go to a competitor who treats their customers right and wrong.

She directly mocked me. “It should have been sold this morning.” Since we were there, no one tried or asked about the perfume I reserved, and I saw that Douglas had more than three on the shelf, and the perfume cost almost €100. What the cashier said to me was ridiculous. I don't think I have ever received such friendly, competent and committed advice in any branch or other perfumery as I did here today. I haven't experienced service like this in a long time. I'm actually happy to pay a few euros more than online. Thank you!

Leider musste ich feststellen, dass das gleiche Parfum im Internet nicht 82 Euro kostet, sondern für 46 - 74 Euro angeboten wird. Nie wieder hier.

If I could, I would give 0 stars. The following situation: On Saturday I was in this store with my girlfriend and was accused of theft by a cashier, whereupon I was disrespectfully placed in an unpleasant situation by the team leader. The team leader snatched a perfume out of my hand that I had previously looked at and asked me to leave the store. When asked "Why" she insinuated that "I had already been in the store the day before, stolen and now wanted to do it again." I come from Bremen and have never seen this shop, let alone visited it. I am outraged by such an approach and such accusations based on a statement from an incompetent employee. I wouldn't be surprised that the team leader used "racial profiling" and for this reason was the first to suspect me as a black man. (No, that's not the racism card!) With employees like that, it's no surprise that retail is dying out!
