Good place to take the kids for a walk.

My dog really enjoyed the walk on the salt lake. There is a cute little sign with a basket of tennis balls for all dogs to enjoy in loving memory of a fur baby that loved this place. You can make it a little walk or a huge trek right around just make sure you take water with you as there are no amenities there.

Great for dog walking, bird watching and the flat salt pans means you can see local Radio Control Plane enthusiasts strutting their stuff from time to time.

Empty, flat, and quiet. Ground is harder than I anticipated, at least in the proper lake area. Great for long walks or a bike ride if your bike is equipped for sand and salt.

Does anyone know where the old training camp is ?
