Worse hospital I have ever been to. Everyone from the nurses to doctors are useless. I had people take my blood pressure and forget about it multiple times and I’ve have to call them back to un hook me from everything. I’ve laid in a room for hours with no one checking in on anything. Pretty sure they are just waiting for me to die so they can free up the space. They don’t even deserve 1 star. Clearly everyone that is employed there is there for a check only and there are plenty of other pointless jobs they can get. Let people who actually care about others work there. Nurses hang outside patients rooms at 2 in the morning laughing. They should not be able to label themselves a hospital hope they get shut down soon.

Absolutely horrendous hospital. Not only will you be met with frustration over a continuous back-and-forth between the nurses stating “I don’t know” to you, but the service from the very nurses meant to take care of you will often forget to do so. I was given a multitude of false promises that were never meant and not a single update on my condition when asked. WHAT IS THE POINT OF A HOSPITAL WHEN THEY DON’T TELL YOU WHAT IS WRONG. I get it. You need to run tests. But an absolute refusal to tell me the results of the test are unforgivable. Furthermore, they will insist you need to stay here for a multitude of days longer than need be. This hospital is clearly after your insurance money and does the absolute bare minimum for you. And the bare minimum does not include treatment for any pain or symptoms that are not life threatening. You have unbearable pain that makes you writhe in your hospital bed? Don’t bother. You wont get treated. You require a bed-pan to relieve yourself because you cannot get up due to your condition? Don’t bother dialing a nurse. They don’t respond unless it’s been at least 2 hours. This is not an isolated case. I would go as far as to say that the treatment of patients from this hospital borders or IS ABUSE.

I cut my finger and went to emergency last week. Like not even 5 days ago. I got there at, like, 1030 I didn't leave until 4 AM and now all I needed was 3 stitches and I'm looking and the stitch is an even holding my finger. It's just flapping, so you mean to tell me? You go to a hospital to trust them for major surgeries. And this and that, but you couldn't put 3 stitches in.

Please never go to the ED at St John's Macomb on 12 and Hoover seriously I say this from my heart not out of being angry or rude from my very bad experience we have so many other better choices of hospitals. Please be careful be your own advocate and speak up for yourself if you may feel uncomfortable and not getting the proper care you deserve its your life your worrying your anxiety of being in a poor ED. Please take care of yourself and please go elsewhere for any Emergency needs....Thank you for reading this if you want to talk to me please feel free to message me...

Do you want to die? Or possibly leave the hospital worse off than you were when you went in? Well if your answer is yes, this is the hospital for you!!! Went in for stitches, they had some PA do it that had NO IDEA what he was doing, he didn't do internal stitching in a 3 inch deep wound which lead to several other doctors from actually good hospitals saving us from being sent to a wound specialist 2 months later. A WOUND SPECIALIST FOR A STRAIGHT CUT!!!!!??? all because they cant even do STITCHES!!! Filed a complaint with the hospital and they sent us a $1500 bill!!! this place is a death trap. If i could give no stars I would.

Would NOT even give 1 start if it allowed me to. Sister went into ER and was left in a room with a BP of 175/114 for hours with no help from nurse. She has kidney failure and has Addisons disease not to mention she's a spinal cord injury patient going on 11 years now. During the awful time that she was in this ER the nurse accused her of being a manipulator and lied to the patient advocate stating that the blood pressure was tracked and was fine. I believe her name was Caroline or Carolyn. I picked her up and took her over to Troy Beaumont where she was seeing immediately. This hospital has gone completely downhill and the nursing staff in the ER is absolutely despicable and I would not trust them at all if a nurse can lie about something like this then she should not be employed whatsoever as a nurse and it is a shame that this Hospital thinks it's appropriate to have this type of staff working on patients. If your loved one is sick and needs immediate help as did my sister I would not go to this Hospital if for some unfortunate reason you have to please have another person there with you to monitor the nurses in the ER since they are outright Liars and do not tend to the patients as they should. Very sad what's become of this Hospital and it's staff!

this is the first time i write a negative review about anything but this hospital deserves it. i took my mom to the ER twice this week and she spent the night there each time, she is a chemo patient, they took 2 hours to let her in, after letting her in a room they took 5 HOURS for ONE NURSE to come in and check up on her, my mom was in a horrible pain and she needed care immediately i asked them multiple times to come but no one did until i screamed at them. also when u get to the emergency room no one helps u outside to put a patient in a wheelchair or help them get out of the car i know a hospital should do all those but i hope they do something, also the bathrooms were so unsanitary ,, please do something ...

Never ever coming here again. Doctors here are so rude and can’t do their job right and the waiting is horrible. I never had to wait this long at a hospital, do better. I hope no one comes here ever again

The doctor showed empathy but the wait was extremely long. This place could use a good cleaning and remodel.

Brought a friend into emergency room over 6 hours ago. Have yet to have anything other than vitals taken. The place is filthy. Blood drops on floor of waiting room, bathroom floors sticky with urine General debris on floor throught. Though we haven't seen a doctor yet, we have heard nurses, techs, and doctors being rude and short with other patients.

They slow got their at 7pm left at 3am a days work may as well went to urgent care never want to ever wait that long

I was there last night with a family member that was in the ER. All I can say is those nurses are awesome. They are always running around giving the best care despite having several patients. All my questions were answered and I felt valued as a concerned family member. Thank you ER nurses! You are heroes

This place is the worst place to go to. I was experiencing headaches and blurry vision and developed shingles on my leg which was causing lots of pain. I get my vitals done and drs rush in cause they think I’m having a stroke. I told them I just got shingles this morning. I’ve had it before I know what it looks and feels like. I showed the dr and everyone that was in the room and then the dr had an emergency and had to run off. He ordered a bunch of tests on me. I was in my room for four hours not once did he come check on me nor the nurses. Four hours later he comes in and says your results are fine we are going to discharged you. I said what abt my shingles and he said that’s not why you came in. I said pulled my pants down and showed everyone my butt to show my shingles and you had an emergency. Mmmmmm maybe if the dr came back and finished the conversation with me. Then I had the supervisor telling me shingles is not an emergency. Yes it can be if someone’s body isn’t handling it well. You need antibiotics and nerve medication to help with the pain. Nothing. So I looked on google while the mean supervisor was taking my ivy out and looked up do you go to emergency for shingles and she said to me we don’t follow what google says. This place is straight up mean people who are just fake and scamming everyone and their insurances. Maybe you should hire doctors and nurses who actually have a heart and want to help people out.

If u have to be on the cardiac floor I feel sorry for u. The assistant manager Jessica is a real piece of work. If u make one little complaint all she does is yell at patients then will ignore you or your love ones so they won't get properly taken care of. I don't know how she still has a job because I heard alot of patients complaining about her. So I would go somewhere. You can make complaints about her but her friends meaning her boss won't do anything to fix her bad attitude.

I want to take out the time to thank Paul Hilliker my anesthesia and the staff they took great care of me doing my outpatient procedure.

Very slow , sat there in pain for 4 and a half hours to get no results
