(EDIT): So I am no longer travelling to MI for work, and I must say this is always on my mind and in topic of conversation, you know they say if you love something let it go, but if it comes back it was always meant to be from the start. Well 12th Street Grill is my HEART and I wish i could eat there everyday like i used to. Been hearing about this place finally got to go and man I need to go back like yesterday. Food amazing space could have been better but I like the small gathering its like a hidden spot only the cool kids know about. Everything came out hot fresh and with a smile. My omelet was crazy good stuffed French toast was amazing. Let's go again shall we visit this spot when your on van dyke.

Small, cozy diner French toast was great!! Interesting hash browns but it was all still very good. Wish they had more pizazz or decor to actual diner so it could have some personality. Waiters are also very nice

I ordered the Cajun Chicken wrap from the Tuesday special. It comes with a cup of soup. The wrap was very good. Never drenched in sauce or salty. The soup was good, too. The environment is warm and the servers are courteous. Moreover, the price is reasonable.

Welcoming place, good quality food. Service was great and they didn’t mind us hanging out a bit after we ate. Fries were really fresh and delicious.

Nice place, good food. The hash browns were made from scratch. Generous serving of bacon with my eggs. Prices were a little higher than I anticipated. The only issue we had was the undercooked omelette - my husband won't eat undercooked eggs (because, gross) but twice he asked the waitress to take it back to be cooked a bit longer & twice she came back & said "That's the feta cheese" (I think it was the cook talking). Finally I said "Can you PLEASE just cook it a little longer". Otherwise a very nice clean bright place. And the waitresses were very nice (I'd have given 5 stars if not for the cook), and the decaf was freshly brewed, which is always nice. Looks like a popular neighborhood eatery.

Family owned business. Had ham & eggs. Ham is off the bone, thicker slices. Home- made hash browns. Great service - very friendly and welcoming.

I definitely enjoyed eating breakfast with my dad at this place. It was clean and the waitress was very nice. I like the food too. I give it a 8.5 out of 10. I definitely recommend this wonderful establishment.

Great for solo dinner. Clean and nice atsmophere. Nice Servers Extense menu that include lunch and breakfast. Lots of tables and chairs plus a diner bar. 4 stars cause the Reuben Rye has butter on it but the ham Soup was delicious.

The food was delicious and service was great. Highly recommend for breakfast food. Will come back here again.

Food was fresh and on point 👌🏾 loved the ranch too. Only thing is the BBQ sauce wasn’t too good IMO because it tasted really vinegar-y but I’ll be going back for sure

Had an mushroom sausage and cheese omelet with a good taste. Got gravy as a topper. Nice addition. Waitresses were Superb!

Oh the sausage gravy and biscuits were so good! Coffee was very good! Restaurant was clean and service was outstanding!

I'm a morning breakfast spot person and this place was amazing the service was great and the food was wonderful nice and quiet well lit and the prices are good too 10/10 I highly recommend if you like early morning dinning.

Me and my husband often visit here. Has great portion sizes and good prices! The food taste good too. The staff are super friendly and make sure to take care of you and fill your coffee as needed. They also have a breakfast bar to sit at if you want that quick option. Also ordering straight from them as a pick up option they give good service as well.

This is my husbands and my absolute favorite place to get breakfast! The food is always delicious! The presentation of the stuffed French toast and their hot chocolate will make you feel like you’re dining at a fancy restaurant. Their prices are more than reasonable and their staff make you feel like you’re part of the family. We love this local restaurant!
