Was slightly disappointed by the lobster roll... I got the big one with drawn butter just to try it out. Never have seen a hot lobster roll served with lettuce? So I took it off and showed how the roll is mostly leg meat. The lobster was ok, wasn't really much flavor. I was sort of turned off by the butter coagulating while I was eating it. The butter wasn't even really hot and didn't have any seasoning added to it and just overall disappointing. Famous just for giving a big portion, but there's no use if it is just scraps in my opinion.

Around 2000, I lived in Warren. I am now nearby and wish I had gone to Blount for their steamers back then. I had only heard of them, but somehow never made it there. Recently, I have been making clamboils and tried a few markets in the area. Two weeks ago I was in Warren, so gave them a try. I bought 2 lbs. of steamers. The price was as good as anywhere else, and the clams were much better. They were very clean and lively. I went back again this weekend and picked up 4 lbs. more. They were even better. I won't be searching for where to go any more. This is how they looked. I'm sorry I waited so long to buy from Blount. Thanks for selling the best clams I've bought in years.

They offer a very large lobster roll with a choice of butter or mayo. It's not distinguished in any way except by size but it's fresh. The location is next to a harbor which is nice. Note, they have two locations about a block from each other, one is a seafood market and clam shack the other is the waterfront clam shack. You want the waterfront location if you are looking for a meal, it has outdoor seating the other one doesn't.

I think this has to be my favorite lobster place in RI! We tried to go to the waterfront location, but it had a really long line, so we ended up here. We got our lobster salads, rolls, and clam chowders to go and went to the beach five minutes away. The food was delicious. The lobster was fresh, and the chowder was super tasty but did not feel heavy. The lobster salad came with an asiago-peppercorn dressing, which paired very well!

WOW!!! I had the 6 inch lobster roll with clam cakes, coleslaw and clam chowder. Every bite was delicious! If I lived here I would eat there every week. LOL! The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The staff was GREAT! They were helpful and friendly. There are two locations, one by the water, which is outside dining only and the other one is about a block away and has Dine in. I posted photos of both locations.

We stopped into the shop to pick up a late lunch after having spent the afternoon down the street at the Warren Town Beach, a 7 minute walk away. I ordered the "giant" sized Lobster Roll with half pound of lobster. You can't even see the roll in the photo due to the massive pile of meat on top of it. The sandwich was very good. It was pricey at $30 (market price) but I don't feel too bad about paying that much. I would opt for the small sandwich next time, though, with only quarter pound of meat. My son ordered a clam strip sandwich, which was very good, and my wife had a fried haddock sandwich, which she enjoyed. She subbed fresh fruit (watermelon cubes) for the fries, though. The market portion of the shop had a lot on offer, though I was particularly intrigued by the by the large bags of soup they sell. The chowder looked really good. In total, we were pretty happy with our visit. Good food and nice seafood in the shop.

Loved the lobster roll and the chowder! I wish I was from here because they had a bunch of freezers full of well organized, yummy looking frozen soups that I would've totally taken home! I'm from out of town so I was grateful I was able to drive right down the street and sit at a bench by the beach to enjoy this delicious food.

Good orderly process. Lots of tables and water view. Delicious NE shack fries topped with Cham chowder and fried scallop/shrimp! Love the cham belly and even the coleslaw. And having wright ice cream truck next to it is a plus to finish your meal.
