My experience at Huntington Club Apartments was incredibly disappointing and far from what I had hoped for. Throughout my time at this apartment complex, I encountered a multitude of issues that made it an unsatisfactory living environment. One of the most concerning aspects was the frequent and intrusive visits by the police. It seemed like there was a constant presence of law enforcement within the complex, which created an atmosphere of unease and insecurity. The management failed to address this ongoing problem, and it added to the overall discomfort and dissatisfaction. Furthermore, the lack of noise control was a significant issue. The constant disruptions from loud neighbors made it nearly impossible to enjoy any peace or quiet in my own home. Another major concern was the lack of cleanliness and maintenance in the complex. Trash and dog droppings were a common sight, creating an unsanitary and unappealing living environment. It was disheartening to see the management's disregard for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for residents. Additionally, the lack of transparency regarding the security deposit was highly frustrating. Even after moving out, I never received any information regarding the deposit or its return. This lack of communication and transparency regarding important financial matters is simply unacceptable. Moreover, the apartment's temperature control was inadequate. Despite extreme weather conditions, my unit was either excessively hot or freezing cold, making it uncomfortable to live in. The management's failure to address this issue further highlighted their lack of attention to residents' well-being. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Huntington Club Apartments based on my experience. The frequent and intrusive police visits, noise disturbances, cleanliness issues, lack of communication about the security deposit, and inadequate temperature control make it a subpar living option. I encourage prospective residents to explore other alternatives where their safety, peace of mind, and comfort are prioritized. EDIT: I almost forgot. In addition to the numerous issues I encountered during my time at Huntington Club Apartments, one particularly frustrating problem was the prolonged lack of hot water. For nearly two months, I endured the inconvenience and discomfort of not having access to hot water in my unit. Despite reporting the issue to the management multiple times, the problem remained unresolved, leaving me without a basic necessity for an unreasonably long period. The lack of urgency and effective action in addressing this essential service further demonstrated the management's disregard for the well-being and satisfaction of residents.

*Edited 1-21-24* I so wish I could give this place negative stars. Do not move here, you will regret it. Here are a few reasons to avoid this place like the plague. 1) Cockroaches. Not the little ones (though we get those too) but the big disgusting ones. They are all over the place and they WILL find their way into your apartment. Management knows it is a problem and yet nothing is done about it (apparently they are a major issue in the crawlspace.) They are all over the downstairs laundry rooms. I called the office about roaches in our apartment and whoever answered the phone laughed about it. So professional... The basement cages that used to be for resident storage are full of decades of former residents trash and loaded with roaches. 2) Bedbugs. You will get them from your neighbors and you will be expected to pay for extermination. They will just keep coming back. Why? Cause nobody wants to pay the $300 for bed bug extermination. If your neighbor has them, you WILL get them, I guarantee it. This place needs to be fumigated and not at the residents expense!! 3) Rats in the parking lot because of overflowing garbage. There is trash in the parking lot, in hallways/laundry rooms and in the mail room. 4) Speaking of garbage, they decided to hire valet trash because people were too lazy to take their trash to the dumpster. Now you have to pay for it whether or not you use the service. Not only that but residents NEVER pull their trash cans inside like they are supposed to. It's hideous seeing trash cans all over the place and on windy days they blow all over. In the summer it smells everywhere. 5) Dark in general. Lights outside individual apartments are never replaced. Lights in laundry rooms and entryways take months to get repaired. 6) Entryways that are main thoroughfares to the trash smell like rotting garbage from the leaking trash. Why? Because the entryways are carpeted. 7) Paper thin walls. Hope your neighbor watches good shows on tv. You will be able to hear it all. 8) Back-filled pool in building B is now a huge eyesore. No grass seed planted, not evened out at all. The ducks seem to enjoy it after a rain though. So does the resident skunk. 9) There are not even close to enough washing machines. More definitely need to be added. Either that or they need to be put in individual apartments. When they break they take weeks to fix, especially if it's something the "maintenance people" need to fix. They are also always filthy. 10) The air conditioner is in the bedroom (in the one bedroom apartment anyway, I don't know about the others) and that is where the cool air will stay. The unit itself is as old as the hills and your entire apartment will never cool off unless you have a network of fans set up. 11) Stairs everywhere. I have family that can't come visit because of leg/knee issues and can't climb the stairs. There is no way to get to the second level without climbing a staircase. Also no way to get to the laundry rooms in the basement without going down a staircase. These apartments are not handicap accessible at all. 12) Speaking of stairs, the ones leading grin the parking lot to building B have been falling apart for years (see pictures) They literally fall from under your feet. They refuse to replace them. 13) They never answer the phone. At this point I can only guess they have a single line for incoming calls. Have to call 10+ times (if you're lucky) before someone finally answers. 14) Someone spilled paint down the stairs and it has looked like this for months (see picture) 15) The hot water is constantly going out for days, sometimes a week at a time. You will get no compensation on your rent for this. 16) Your packages will rarely be left at your door. You will almost always have to hunt them down because UPS, FedEx and Amazon leave them everywhere, even at the entrances. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!

In 2018 I lived at Huntington Club Apts (moved in 2016), ROCO/Huntington lost my lease after I signed my renewal. They began charging me month to month charges (I absolutely could not afford them). I contacted the leasing office, and they told me not to worry, that they'd found my lease on a filing cabinet and they would get me a corrected amount due. They did not, and took me to court for not paying (they also wouldn't take partial payments of my actual rent amount). I brought my emails about the matter to their lawyer, who dropped the case and got them to get me a corrected amount due. I paid immediately. They resumed applying month to month charges. They never answered their phones and the office was empty the vast majority of the time. The few times I was able to speak to someone, I was brushed off and told they would sort it out and get back to me (usually very rudely). Of note, the nicer lady from the beginning who told me she found the lease was shuffled off to work another location, and nobody would tell me where or how to contact her. They posted another eviction notice on my door. I stopped paying rent so I could save to move elsewhere. They turned my heat off in the middle of winter. My last two months rent totaled to $1,360. After applying month to month charges and late fees they generated a ~3,000.00 amount due and had their collections lawyer come after me. At this point 4 years later, they have garnished roughly $5,000.00 from me, which I'm still fighting. My time at the apartment was awful, and since moving out in 2019, ROCO still haunts me. Stay far away from these people.

In my opinion, this place and its management is horrible and the place is far too overpriced for what service and living conditions you get. Find anywhere else to live but here. Edit: Apparently the complex feels it is acceptable to shut off the water to the building without any notice whatsoever. They gave no call, email, or notice of any kind. This place is such a joke!!!

Moved in to a roach infested apartment. Caught strep throat from the roaches. Didn’t have heat until fall. The office is trying to evict me for complaining too much to them about living in an uninhabitable environment. I was in Unit 177. If they say there is no history of roaches in complex B or in that unit, they are giving false information.

I would give Huntington Club and ROCO real estate 0 stars if I could. I have lived in the community for 2 years now and in my time here I have watched it somehow get worse than what it was. I fought for months to get my bathroom fixed, only for it to look worse than what it did.. the companies they had come out for glossing my tub were all children basically who failed to clean the debris in my tub and I’m now left with a grainy, disgusting tub and when I’ve reached out I have been ignored by both the apartments and ROCO real estate. I pay nearly $1,000 a month and I’d like to take pride in my home but instead I have recently been greeted by giant Cockroaches, and when I have complained I have been sent traps and told time after time that I’ll be put on a list for the next time the exterminator comes and they never know when it is and always fail to tell, and then he just never shows up. I’m absolutely SICK of the dumpsters NEVER being taken seriously, the community looks awful. In the past I have spoken about off leash dogs to management and while they told me it was being handled, it never was. Time after time I watch dog owners let their dogs run around the courtyards or more dangerously run through the parking lot, I have been personally run up on by myself by a dog and in recent events with my dogs.. I have watched a dog run up on contractors at the buildings and almost invite themselves through doors while they are open, that should not be taken lightly. My dogs are leashed to protect them, because I care about them and the next dog.. meanwhile the apartments do not care and the people who work for the apartments do not care and have stood by while watching a dog run off leash through our courtyard, and just laughed while admiring.. uphold your rules. This place is honestly a lawsuit, hot water is usually out with no warning of turning it off and you are without heat a lot of Winter nights. I don't expect anything more than an automatic response from ROCO on this review, with an e-mail address of someone who will not even write me back to follow up.. because they DO NOT care. save your money, find a much better apartment for the same price.

The Huntington apartments are beautiful, peaceful and have a wonderful respectful property manager named Korisa. If you need somewhere to rent, please ask for Korisa. She’s the best when it come to understanding situations & deadlines. I needed a place (this place had a waiting list) to live; despite the fact they had a waiting list. Korisa made sure she kept me informed of any available apartments. Korisa will work with you if you ever need any further assistance. I appreciate her patience & kindness with all my questions. She actually cares about people finding somewhere to live. Please, reach out & don’t be shy to ask questions. Thank you, Korisa. You are an angel sent from God. ❤️

After wrongfully sending me to collections, they blocked my phone number and do not respond to emails. Best of luck if you choose to live here.

Wish I could give it a 0 but I can't. I haven't lived in this place in over a year I was wrongfully evicted because these ppl are incompetent so in return they had to let me go with my last months rent moved out and all still being haunted by the incompetence. In June of 2022 I moved out I was told I damaged the tub and carpet around November no calls no emails only a letter in the mail telling I was being sued or whatever. For months I asked the company that contacted me asking for proof because I know didn't damage anything finally about 2 weeks ago I received pictures of a tub that's not mine and the carpet was mine butcompletely fine maybe a 250 cleaning fix but I'm being sued for 1200 which ironically is the same amount as the rent they gave me a credit on. Once I contacted the apt I got email with a excuse after my response I didn't get one. This place needs new ownership and new management

I absolutely looovee the management here! Every issue that I’ve had was quickly resolved! When the hot water pipe burst we were reimbursed and it took the cost off of our rent! These people are more like family than management of the apartments. They are very friendly and do everything they can to make sure everyone is comfortable! You won’t find another team like them.
