Just traveled an hour to have some fried chicken at Buena Vista Cafe in Warren. Absolutely worth the drive. The chicken was juicy and well cooked. There was just enough breading to make the chicken crispy. We also had the fried Italian green, Delicious, salty and garlicky. Yum. Service was wonderful. The atmosphere is a bit dark but it was warm and friendly, very welcoming

Very disappointing. Went to dinner tonight because I had $10 off from a previous experience from this restaurant in June. I had ordered food for my son’s graduation and it wasn’t ready when picking it up. Had to wait 1/2 hour for it to be ready, so I was giving a $10 off coupon for a future visit. I did that visit tonight. What a disaster. It was not worth saving $10. First we were told the wait would be 25-30 min. We waited almost and hour to be seated. The waitress apologized and said it usually wasn’t like that. Well, the poor management from our previous experience was why we had the coupon. People who were seated after us, got their food before us. Then there was the food. My son got the pizza burger. He said Sunrise’s pizza burger is 10 times better. I got the chicken parmigiana. There wasn’t much taste to it and the sauce seemed like they opened up a can of crushed tomatoes. It was lukewarm, too. The owner/chef, Nick, came to ask how it was and offered an excuse that he didn’t have enough help. Then asked how the food was and when my son said it was as just ok, Nick was passive aggressive towards him, saying “well you ate it all, so it must have been good.” I won’t return unless I’m invited there for a friend’s or family event. Very disappointing.

So disappointed. I'd had pizza and wings from here at a baby shower years ago so we stopped in because sunrise was really slammed and we wanted to give this place a shot. 3/4 of us were not happy. :( Ravioli wasn't homemade and was basic freezer ravioli, sauce was chunky with tons of visible chunks of minced garlic and no taste really. Wedding soup had barely any meat. The wings were subpar and we hated the Texas potatoes. The steak special was ordered rare and burned on the outside. The only one that was happy got chicken strips. The service was spectacular and the waitress was so nice but we really didn't like the food at all, especially being that none of it was all that affordable.

I had a taste for some fried fish, and I happen to come across this place. Nice staff and venue. I got the fish dinner for $15 bucks that took 30 minutes to prepare. Total waste of my money. The fish batter lacked flavor/seasoning, the fish was completely dry served with a pinch of fries 🤏…. Being considered a dinner is definitely reaching. More like a snack! Especially, when the protein is not satisfying.

The only reason my family and I went to this place was because it was recommended. I have no idea why. Service is slow. The owner, which from reading other reviews is named Nick?, is rude and touches you without your permission. My dad ordered the pasta and meatballs. I had the chicken Marsala. My mother, a burger and last, my bf had the pasta a la vodka. The pasta and meatballs came out looking like they opened up a can of crushed tomatoes and put it on top of noodles. Meatballs were dry and barely had flavor. No flavor to the “sauce” other than the sweetness from the tomatoes. My chicken Marsala was just mushroom flavored water soup. My chicken was dry in the middle. The other food was just all around terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worse enemy. We reported this to the waitress who then reported it to the owner. He had came by earlier to greet us before ordering and grabbed my shoulder. Squeezing and rubbing. I did not like it at all. It made me uncomfortable. You shouldn’t be touching people. When he came back after the waitress got him, he had a very negative attitude when we explained that we did not like the food. Again this man touches my bfs shoulder and made him feel uncomfortable. My dad showed him his watered down crushed tomato looking pasta. Nick grabbed the fork and moved it around. Agreeing that there was a lot of water in it. He asked me what was wrong with mine and when I told him, he didn’t seem to like the fact that I said I didn’t like it and did not want it. He walked away and came back then asked what was wrong with it. I explained again that it tasted like mushroom water and that my chicken was dry, he grabbed my bowl and then asked a customer next to us if they wanted to buy a restaurant. It seems like this guy does not care about this business. Just waste your money on this place. He did comp the two meals though.
