Let
me
start
off
by
saying
Sunday
Aug
27th
2023,
we
walked
in
to
trap
music
with
foul
language.
We
thought,
oh,
maybe
that's
to
entertain
the
bar
crowd.
The
greeter
was
very
kind
and
polite
as
well
as
our
waitress.
We
first
ordered
the
meat
pie
and
the
veggie
pie.
The
veggie
pie
was
edible,
but
the
meat
pie
was
drowning
in
what
tasted
like
olive
oil
or
peanut
oil.
It
was
pouring
out
of
the
patty
all
over
the
plate
and
had
a
horrible
taste.
I
thought
this
was
just
how
Africans
cooked.
We
then
ordered
the
Poulet
Roti
at
$22,
which
was
maybe
the
portion
size
of
an
average
breast
and
a
wing
with
a
mushroom
sauce.
Way
overpriced!
The
Poulet
Roti
was
SUPER
oily
but
was
hard,
dry,
and
crunchy
at
the
same
time.
Again,
I
figured
maybe
this
is
how
Africans
like
their
chicken.
After
dipping
it
in
the
sauce
and
trying
it
different
ways,
I
concluded
that
it
was
old
stale
meat
and
not
smoke
dried.
This
food
was
so
old
that
I'm
here
in
bed
tossing
and
turning
with
a
stomach
ache,
writing
this
review,
knowing
the
cause
was
this
restaurants
food
as
that
was
all
I
ate
other
than
drinking
water.
We
also
ordered
the
Yassa
chicken,
which
had
a
really
good
and
unique
taste
with
fresh
vegetables,
but
the
chicken
pieces
were
mostly
bone,
fat,
and
cartilage
with
barely
any
meat.
We
tried
the
Jolof
rice
wich
was
excellent
and
a
side
order
of
spinach
that
was
fresh
and
wonderful!
Although
the
restaurant
has
a
smooth,
peaceful
vibe,
the
meat
is
TERRIBLE
and
extremely
overpriced.
These
are
con
artist
meal
deals.
I
suggest
only
ordering
veggie
meals
as
that's
what
was
actually
really
good.
Their
meat
is
trash.
Well,
their
chicken
was,
and
that's
where
it's
at.
In
the
trash.
I
wish
I
could
get
a
refund,
but
hey,
I
gave
them
the
benefit
of
the
doubt
and
ended
up
tossing
and
turning
in
bed.
We
won't
be
returning,
and
I
hope
those
who
choose
to
patronize
this
place
will
have
a
better
experience
than
we
did!
