Rooms were immaculate and staff are very helpful. Decor is a bit dated, however service and friendliness of staff make up for that. Great breakfast.

A 1 night stay was ok. Wouldn't want to stay longer. Bathroom full of mould around bath, taps hard to turn on and off. Toilet leaked at the rear.

Great place to stay if you're visiting Warrington and the surrounding areas. Comfy beds, the room temperature is good, and the staff are very friendly. Recommended.

Had Fajita for tea, more onions & peppers than meat , it came with 4 tortillas I only manage 2 with like half a small chicken fillets with of meat, but a bit stingy, I had just onion & pepper on my last one,, could of done with more meat , service wonderful food great apart from as above !

The concierge who booked us in was fab, really helpful. Good location and parking but what really let it down was the state of the bathroom - shower curtain rail loose about to come off the wall with the curtain itself having seen better days and black mould around the bath tiling, really shabby.

Just been here with family, clean,tidy and very comfortable seating . I had fish,chips,mushy peas it was lovely. I can say we all went away satisfied. Can't wait to go again .

Stayed at another Green king pub in Liverpool before and was disappointed but Waterside was 100% better. Clean, tidy and well kept rooms, good TV and firm but very comfortable bed. Booked for a evening meal which was fantastic, busy Friday night but service was swift and staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was top quality and again breakfast staff were lovely. 10 times better than our Liverpool experience, would definitely visit Waterside again.

Rooms need updated desperately! Staff are very accommodating, although I had to wait almost 15min to check in. Pub next door serves good quality food including breakfast. I may not be stopping here again based on the quality of the rooms. Best of luck who are reading this review and looking to stop here.

Very overpriced. £200 for one night in a very basic room. Pillows were very flat, one of the light fixtures was missing. We asked ahead of time for a pop up bed and it wasn't provided. Lots of spiderwebs in the room. They were very aggressive with the policies they make you sign when you check in - with threats of getting kicked out of the room in the middle of the night

Rooms are dated but comfortable. A lot of black mold in the bathroom puts you off using the bath or shower The family room was a good size but one of the beds was just a mattress on the floor

I arrived on a Monday travelling up for work. I wasnt very well and when I booked into the hotel after I had finished at my workplace, went to sleep woke up and phoned for room service, ordered toast. I fell asleep work up to a knocking on my door, it was the very lovely caring lady on reception checking on me to make sure I was ok. I am so grateful for her doing that and have to say 100% have never felt so safe as I was travelling by myself. The next morning and the morning after she asked me again if I was ok. The restaurant next door is great for breakfast, only had one evening meal but would highly recommend staying here and eating in the restaurant.

Smooth efficient arrival service and good access from the station. The hotel room had been cleaned but was very tired with very worn carpets and furniture and dated appliances including bathroom. I won't be staying again.

Room was adequate. Grubby and just lacked any modernisation. Thought it was a premier Inn but ended up being a Greene King Inn. I won't be staying again.

Very friendly and polite,rooms are a bit tired but reasured this was in the pipeline for refurbishment,restaurant is a 5 star experience,fabulous staff again professional polite and friendly food is absolutely excellent,I had steak and have got to say cooked to perfection,definitely going back for more

We attended for our weekly, family breakfast. First time visiting this pub/restaurant, and really enjoyed it. Service was a bit slow as there seemed to be only one (very busy) member of staff behind the bar/front of house. We waited 40 minutes for food, by which time our drinks were finished - but, we didn't mind - we sat out in the beer garden, enjoying some morning sun, and thankfully the food was good, hot and plentiful. The potato rosti were particularly tasty.

Rooms are great, the bathroom could be so much better if the front was bleached, it puts you off having a shower. Other than that the bedroom is nice and clean with modern decor

Lovely clean, large pub, serves good food. Restaurant area or bar area available. Comfortable surroundings and friendly efficient staff. Good outside seating available. Dogs welcome and provided for! Free dog snacks! Well worth a visit.

Our family went for a meal here and thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and evening. My wife, Granddaughter and myself stayed overnight in a family room at the separate hotel opposite the pub. The breakfast was plenty and good. Would definitely recommend.

Great friendly staff, amazing breakfast!!! Loved the halloumi and fresh pastry. Room is good, just a bit cold and lighting a bit dim in the bathroom (noisy at night). Thank you for letting me stay a little over check out time to get some solid work done. Cheers 😊

Gave this place a four star review about 9 month ago but after Sunday experience have down graded to a 2. Book for a birthday meal which was good but wasn't told there was a time limit on the table when we arrived nor on the booking confirmation email. Around 2hrs we was told there is another booking for the table as we ain't finished thought this was a bit out of order, after being told this the waitress came back a minute later with the bill and was asked how you want to pay basically being told you need to leave the table we had just ordered coffee. Was having a good time til this point and would have stayed longer but will go somewhere else next time. The girls attitude with the bill wasn't great at all but the previous waitress who served the food was great.

Felt compelled to write a review. Been to The Waterside for Breakfast with Santa this morning (23/12). The staff have the patience of saints, it can't have been easy with lots of children running around. The breakfast was also really good which helps! Thank you.

Excellent quality hotel, very comfortable beds, very well maintained hotel and the pub on the grounds is just beautiful with great food and v friendly efficient staff. Thanks to our hotel receptionist Maria for friendly and professional care. 5 star's from all of us from Dublin (Ireland).

I cant comment on the rooms not having stayed there, but the food in here is delicious! We had the chicken sharing platter and the camembert sharing platter. Both were gorgeous and good value too! We then shared a large plate of pancakes! Yummy!!

Just had a meal and drinks. Food was fine , normal pub menu. Service was good and the staff were friendly and efficient. Although the restaurant was very busy and there was a slight delay on being able to order, once we did ,food arrived quickly.

Had a quick bite to eat in the restaurant last night, the katsu curry was great and the food arrived quickly. The staff were very friendly and made sure to check we were happy with our food. I’ll be honest wasn’t expecting anything amazing but i was very pleasantly surprised!

Staff excellent and so helpful and smile. Room very spacious, excellent bed, clean linen and good assortment of beverages. Breakfast is across the path at the Inn and lots of variety and reasonably priced. All told a good visit

Service was good. Ale choice was low as two out of four were off. The app choices didn't match what was on the pump. Six of us ordered roasts. Two orders came wrong. One had no Yorkshire pudding and the other had no roast potatoes. Sunday roast. No Yorkshire and no roast potatoes? Not great for generic on menu items during Sunday lunch time Yorkshire came later after a query. Potatoes had a hot drink comp. Large car park. Would I go again? Sorry, no. Polite and helpful staff but all of the chairs were ripped and tired, and it just needs some money putting into it, and also they need to serve the right stuff on a Sunday.

Staff lovely, room was clean and comfortable, it was obviously a premier inn previously and the exterior has been updated to new company brand etc, the rooms are dated and in need of refurbishment (which some have been done) the shower pressure was disappointing... and I appreciate that there is a budget for this and not all can be done at once. Overall happy with my stay and it can only get better.
