This space is a godsend as the owner of a sociable and energetic dog! It's such a clean and calm space, made up of fenced-in connected fields, separated by kissing gates. You can walk around the fields, along the riverside or down a footpath that follows the river's direction but is set back a bit. Can't believe it took us so long to find it!

Some idiot reversed into the front of my car and didn't have any decency to leave any details. It cost me nearly Β£900 to fix everything from a smashed bumper to a broken head, beam, and indicator light. They hit it with some force as its bent and damaged the metal frame underneath the car. Also, to top of the day, the place smelt like someone had died around the area, and there were a few white homeless people camping in different areas. I was speaking to one, a lad called Chris he was in the British forces for 5 years, and now he's down on his luck with mental health issues caused by 3 tours to iraq, something he now believes involved corrupt government members trying to get rich on oil and gold bullion. Why isn't anything being done for him? He saw a 7 year old girl used has bait she was blown upwards of 300 feet in the air from an IED. An Horrendous mental image, He's got to live with that thought for the rest of his life.

Great place to walk the dog, plenty of space to be off the lead and fairly quiet. Very muddy. Couldn't find anywhere to park only downside.

A lovely route if you follow the trail. Roughly just over a mile taking in the River Mersey. Can get very muddy in the winter months but a great local walk and often very quiet.

Lovely open space with secured gates for off lead dogs. Could do with some bins in each field for the poop bags as some seen left in the fields. Otherwise my 7 month springer absolutely loves it here!

A great walk for the dogs, even though it rained the whole time. Enclosed enough that it's pretty safe for dogs to run off lead. The rivers not a safe place for the dogs to go in as the current, depth and edge aren't the best. Otherwise a good place to go with your best friend

Great open space, wonderful for walking alone or with your dogs. Can be very muddy after rain. Lots of wildlife and the river runs along side too.

Very safe area for walking and cycling. Nice partly restored canal, pity all of it isn't, would make the area, that must more beautiful.

Nice walk spoilt by inconsiderate dog owners who think it’s ok to let their dogs off the leash . Watch where you step this Seems to be a bagging free zone which is why do many β€œ owners” walk their dogs there
