We went to visit the SAUNA/STEAM ROOM This is the only one Hub in the whole Warrington where you use it SAUNA /STEAM ROOM in good quality!!!In others, either one does not work or the other.... Temperature great!! Only here is a timer and a temperature meter hanging into sauna. (Please hang a clock) ⛔Our problem was that there is no possibility of a cold shower. there is no separable shower with curtains. who might want wearing towel in the sauna/steam( and not in a plastic swim suit), it doesn't have a chance to take a cold shower you have to go out to the sauna and go into the changing room to take a hot shower!! ⛔Cleaness!! we were horrified by the cleanliness of the changing room. ⛔this sauna is much busier than all the others in the city. and unfortunately the people who visit are not respectful of the other guest’s. all political and relationship issues are discussed inside the sauna. impossible to relax if someone wants to!!!! we’d love for some relaxation music we saw there were speakers on the ceiling. 🎶🎶

First time using the hub in April 2022. Took my 5 and 10yr old swimming. The small pool was lovely and warm, the main pool not too bad! Changing areas are communal with different sized cubicals for different family sizes. Lockers are £1 with is refunded after use. Parking free. Lovely place to visit.

Nice facilities but online booking is useless and staff will turn you away despite having booked and paid online. For swimming always phone ahead and make sure there is space reserved for your group.

I go to great sankey school and the staff are just horrible towards the students. In winter they made us stand out in the cold and didn't let us come in for any reason. They also don't let us use the toilet after school and make us wait for everyone to leave the toilet (one person). The problem is that half of the time there is no one even in the toilet. I don't recommend going there as the service is very bad. They need to change how the do it.

Awful experience that never encountered as a customer. The staff is very rude with bad attitude. The lady manager kept drilling on small issues on me and exaggerating as a big fault that I have against their rules on the wall. One issue is I hold up the phone and was about to take a picture the safeguard in the pool looked up and warned me not to take any picture, I immediately put down my phone without taking any picture. The manager came upstairs all of a sudden and shouted at me asked me to show my photo album to her like an order from police, “I NEED TO CHECK YOUR PHOTO ALBUM, It’s not allow to take picture” I was so shock, and deny at first, at the end I show and proofed to her I didn’t take any picture as I was about to take picture and being called off, she kept drilling with endless topic and blaming me, I feel like being looking down and racism. And when I said racism, she over reacted and asked me to go to her room and need to talk to me, it’s so ironic that her tone sounds like the custom that I have drugs when I passed the boarder. I refused to go and she even said she wanted to KICK ME OUT OF the Premise, I was thrilled and I don’t want to leave my kid alone and my group of friend. After all, she kept pointing to the notice on the wall said that I tried to against the rule and she just did her job to protect the people. I was so tired to listen her endless repeated complains. This is my first time in life that I have face such rude attitude and so called manager by not even showing her name badge properly on her uniform and rejected to tell me her stuff’s name by saying that’s her right. I couldn’t sleep well by such unpleasant treatment and wrote a complaint. Hope to get some feedback from them. Thanks for reading ! If any Chinese has experiencing such good to share too. (Small other complains by her omitted in the paragraph)

They won't let students use the facilities, please let me in while it is the freezing winter. I'd appreciate not dying of hypothermia, appreciate it (not really) :)

Had lovely swim here today without the lanes being in the pool, were able to just swim widths instead of having to do lengths

Recently started using this facility, lead up to Xmas fitness regime !!! But very helpful on my initial visit, pointed me in the right direction for swimming pool access. Not accustomed to the communal changing areas, but seperate booths for all. Good clean facilities, swimming pool can get slightly cramped, would be beneficial to book yourself in prior to attending the venue. Steam room and sauna both clean and functional.

Customer service below par. No answer on the phone when you try to book swimming pool, so the best is to book the next visit while you there. People on the front desk are more interested in sorting tho books for library then answering phone calls, and showing no regrets when you asked them at the desk for reasons. All they say is I'm too busy... To be fair, this is the only site having such issues. No problems when ringing any other hub. Other than that facilities are great

I dont normally leave comments on any experiences but I just called over today with my wife to enquire about membership for myself with swimming being my prime interest...Got to say the gentlemen on reception (Phil Kehoe) was absolutely brilliant 👏 he took time to explain everything and still served customers waiting. Once he has another advisor on the desk he gave us tour around the facilities resulting in a 3 consecutive days free trail....took his time with no pressure....so if all goes well I will be applying for a membership. Well done Phil and thank you for your knowledge and time today it was very much appreciated. As a member of staff he is a credit to Livewire organisation.

Good facilities, insufficient staff. If you don't have children and have no requirement to phone the hub to make a reservation, you'll probably have no complaints. If, however, you do have children and wish to book a family swimming session be prepared to have to travel to the facility in person to make your reservation; you cannot make reservations for the family swimming sessions online (logic?) and they simply do not have sufficient staff to answer the phone. If you do not have sufficient time to attend the facility in advance of your desired family swimming session, be prepared for disappointment.

Not only is Afnaan a pride to live wire but he also sets the bar for any customer service role. Remarkably likeable and cheery, he is a pleasure to converse with at the front desk, making any customer new or old feel a warm sense of belonging. Afnaan goes above and beyond to ensure the needs of customers are met, you truly can rest assured that he will find a solution to any issue or uncertainty you present him with. A pleasure to meet and I wish him well in the future.

We turned up for a swim to be told we had to book a time slot. It didn't say this online and we didn't see anywhere to book online so had to book and pay there. We had to sit in the car and wait over an hour for the next available swim session. Whilst waiting to be signed in someone else was on the phone with a booking. The woman took the persons name, address card number and pin. If this is how you have to book a thete slot we won't be going there again. The swim area and changing rooms were very clean.

We went to watch our grandchildren in the pool. Two lovely pools with a good viewing area. Our daughter has come over from Sale to use this pool

I took out membership for the Gym in June as it’s literally around the corner. And although it’s okay, I do feel £33 a month is a little expensive. Especially compared to PureGym which is £20/month. I guess LiveWire will say they offer more facilities. The gym itself is of a moderate size, probably 1/3 the size of PureGym at Warrington North, and probably half the amount of equipment. PureGym was always far too busy at Warrington North. At Great Sankey it probably has half the amount of people attending on any given day (peak time). But due to the gyms size, you’d still class it as busy. The result is, you still end up waiting 2-3 mins or more to get on each bit of equipment at peak times. So more equipment would be welcome. Another thing to point out about some of the machines, is that they don’t allow for small increments in weight. So there’s no ability to add eg. 2.5kg, only 5kg can be added. If you are a beginner, moving up by 5kg can be too much. Opening times are ok, but I really wish it was open later on a Sunday - 5:30pm close time is far too early. This is where PureGym wins hands down, as it’s open 24 hours. Overall it’s ok, as it’s in a very convenient location for me. I can’t comment on the staff or other facilities as I’ve not had any need to use them at the moment.

Decent public gym but the equipment is looking a little tired. Definitely recommend a new CD to be played instead of Adele and Disney Classics, appalling!

Great leisure facility including gym, pool sports hall, studios, tennis courts and astro. Staff are great and always happy to help. There's a great community Pickleball session 9-10am on a Sunday I would recommend you check out. The guy who runs it is great 😁

If you are looking to build muscle, this place is not for you. There is no equipment and the gym is full of children

Joined for the inclusive quiet swim and to avoid the usual swimming lane captains at every other gym/pool. You know the ones that swim towards you even though they arrived after you because they have a membership!!! Anyways happy to report this pool is very much the opposite - good facilities and really clean :)

Too expensive. 6 pounds per hour if I want to play badminton for 2 hours i have to pay for 12 pounds. I can’t afford that.

They have rude staff whom have a bad attitude towards customers we had a football pitch booked and the lights never got turned on until 30 mins into the game Then the young lad with attitude told us we was only booked for 30 mins and was being very rude about it and when we asked to him to get the lights on he kept on saying calm down it’s only a game. We paid for our time and lights and he still gave us attitude this should definitely be looked into I feel like they need a course of customer service on how to speak to there customers and also learn some manners

I have only used the library service there. I wish the selection of books be larger. Too few books for children.

😐 Shower and changing area recently refurbished and redecorated. Now we get fewer shower cubics but with better shower system. The issue is that there's nowhere to put your shampoo on in shower cubics. You'd expect to have at least a small rack after installing all new showers. Carpark is limited to...

👍👍 Open 24/7, so late at night is bliss. Gym is usually empty, super clean and perfect time to train. As we are now in July the Gym usually gets quiet around 9pm. The later you go the quieter it is, peak time can be a bit crazy (4-8pm) but even when full with 130+ in the gym I find you can still get o...
