A very nice place, classy and cozy! Good food, ordered a Sunday roast with pork belly and all four side dishes, finger licking good! Some staff are really friendly and can make good recommendations for food.

Wonderful environment, spacious and stylish. Food are great but yet the best, portion of the dishes are just right. My kids love their burger and it's presentation！

Nice little cocktail place. Has a beautiful interior with an emphasis on atmosphere. Has a surprisingly diverse food menu. Attentive and friendly staff too. Highly recommend the Peach Cosmo.

Had great food today but wasn't happy with the starter. We mentioned to Abby who was serving us who quickly rectified the issue. Great food and amazing staff!

My husband and I went to The Botanist with family to celebrate our Aunt and Uncle's 30th wedding anniversary. The place itself was lovely, the mocktails were tasty, the food was delicious and there was a nice chilled atmosphere. I really enjoyed the guy singing, he was great. Would definitely recommend.

We had the meal after our wedding ceremony here and the staff could not have been any better if they tried! Going out of their way to make the afternoon perfect! From the initial ordering of the meals prior to leaving we could not have asked for anything more! Absolutely lovely food & amazing scenery at the location!

Went for birthday party at weekend, place looks absolutely fabulous seated by door with a baby in our group so they kindly moved us as it was really cold . Menu print is so small and poor choice of background colour it was hard to read, their upside down when you turn it over. Our waitress was superb and attentive, I ordered lamb kebab with no onions ( no taste really ) it came with onions and was told that’s how the buy them in ?? . My daughter and I had the kebabs and we have been suffering bad stomachs since ( especially me) bit pricey but nice place . Sad if their buying in the kebabs as they can’t control the quality or hygiene of their suppliers. Bill came with discretionary service charge already added..hmmm Not for me again sadly..still bad stomach .

Such a beautiful setting inside. Lots of vegan options on the menu. Staff super friendly. The food was absolutely delicious today. We first went into York branch, a lot smaller than Warrington. But we love the interiors at the Botanist

We made a last minute booking here on Sunday the 9th of April and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. I had a lamb roast dinner and my girlfriend had a beef one and they were both cooked to perfection. I would go as far as to say that it was the best roast dinner I've ever had. We will definitely be booking again.

Pre-booked a group booking with weeks of notice, and we were still seated 45min late. This meant that we were unable to have desert due to time constraints. However, I will say, our server was absolutely amazing and extremely attentive. Payment method needs improvement for group bookings.

I went with my grandparents and my brother for our 19th birthday. Such a gorgeous place, the decors beautiful. The atmosphere was warm with soft lighting. I had the vegan meatball hanging kebab which was delightful. The staff were friendly and very helpful when ordering. I would highly recommend

Visited The Botanist Warrington last night with two friends. Such a lovely atmosphere especially when live music started shortly after we arrived. We each tried a cocktail or two with no disappointments. And all really enjoyed our main meal and desserts. All the staff where great especially Abbie who served us. Will definitely be going back soon.

Great decor and space. Food wasn't particularly special for the price, the kebabs were a bit disappointing with more pepper than meat, the flat breads were stale. It was dead quiet yet still had to source napkins from another table. Not bad for a drink but wouldn't return for food.

Friendly, helpful, smiling service. Came here for a gluten free snack and drink for lunch. Really good choice of gluten free, which is a pleasant change for eating out. Background music, the sound of running water all give a nice atmosphere. I ate alone and was v comfortable here

We had our wedding reception at The Botanist and it was an amazing day! The staff were great in the run-up to the day making sure everything was as we wanted. The venue is stunning inside for photographs and we had a wonderful day. We would highly recommend the venue for small wedding receptions like ours. We had around 37 guests who all commented on how lovely the venue was. Especially in our hired area (near the water fountain). The quality of food and service was amazing and for the price, it was exceptional. The venue acted like a full on wedding venue from drinks package, table arrangements, meal options etc. All without the added cost of hiring the space. A dream considering many other places add that fee on top. There were obviously some public accessing other areas of the venue but that didn't effect us. We had a great time... And again, for the cost it was perfect. Highly recommended.

Lovely food and drink, great service too. Not sure the shabby chic look works for me. I didn't like being asked to type a review on their mobile phone passed to me, especially in the current pandemic!?! I like to decide if I want to provide a review and don't like being asked to. In fact I've NEVER been to do so at a table before. So politely refused. The management team have got that massively wrong - on several levels.

Anniversary meal with family and friends. Enjoyed every mouthful of every course. Calamari starter with great dip. Haloumi hanging kebabs with fries then lemon torte with sorbet. First visit but will definitely be returning

Enjoyed a delicious meal here on Saturday evening. Great food, brilliant atmosphere and excellent service. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and seated quickly. There was a good range of dishes on the menu with some new selections since our last visit. Our server Bianca was knowledgeable and efficient and our food was delicious. Looking forward to returning soon.

Pleasant atmosphere, drinks took a little longer than they should to come over. They were nice and reasonably priced, food arrived quickly which was good. Could of done with a bit more meat on the kebabs there was more mushroom than chicken on them. No service charge added automatically to bill which was a nice surprise. (We asked them to add a tip onto bill) Card payments only. No cash.

A very good dining experience. The hanging streaks makes for a unique dining experience. Desserts are fabulous. Book or you won't get in.

Venue looked great, felt special. Went today with my daughter for a nice treat, service was really slow. Had to wait a while for order to be taken, a couple were seated after us and their order was taken before us. Had to wait a while for each stage of the service, drinks, food, dessert. At the end the waitress took ages to bring the bill over, when she finally did she just plonked a tablet down in front of me, even though I had my card waiting she didn't say a word, just walked off. I ended up having to pay via qr code on my phone. We got up and left, no word from waitress, thank you, see you soon, nothing. Won't be going again.

Gorgeous restaurant....the interior is great, it's clean and modern with lots to look at while you wait for your food/drinks. The food itself was hot and delicious. I had the roast and the beef and Yorkshire pudding were delicious! My daughter had the kids gnocchi with a side order of chips, the chips were well seasoned and yummy! The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the menu was very small and did not have a wide selection to choose from. Also my daughter enjoyed her brownie but said the portion could have been bigger! Great service.

Great place to eat out at. Excellent menu with amazing food. The staff were all excellent too. The interior of the restaurant was well designed and made for a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Popped in on an impromptu date night. Ordered drinks at the bar, drinks came and were incorrect. When questioned about this, was greeted with “well I’ve made these now” feeling obliged to take the drinks, we toast to date night with drinks that tasted like fruit juice! Not a great start! Feeling the hunger we ordered food. Starters cake in a timely fashion, mains over 1 1/2 hours later after prompting the staff about the missing food. Food arrived with a poor excuse as to why it was late “the bar staff shouldn’t have taken your order” that was it! Food was tasteless, chicken was tough and the turkey kebab was as dry as the Sahara dessert at noon! Real shame! £100 down the drain. I’d say it leaves a sour taste but we didn’t get any taste from the food at all.

Really nice venue, a beautiful setting for our 12th wedding anniversary. The staff were very helpful, the food was amazing. We also were lucky enough to have live music playing which made the evening more special. I would definitely recommend the Botanist for both drinks and a meal.👍

Beautiful place to eat and drink. We ordered a table via the website and had our requests met on our seating preferences. We were greeted by a beautiful lady with a beaming smile which made our visit feel very welcoming and was escorted to our table. You can either make payment at the bar or have them come over to you but be aware there is a 2hr limit on the table. We were accommodated well as friends were delayed so we gained an extra hour but this was due to it being quiet so plan for only the 2hrs. Parking at the multi storey times bank is advisable,which is extremely cheap and only a minutes walk to the Botanist. Great food, great pricing, great service, beautiful scenery, and a thoroughly enjoyed afternoon out together 👍

Absolutely lovely surroundings and decor topped with amazingly friendly service. Food is top notch and presented stunningly. Decently priced too so could be a treat on quite a few occasions. Will definitely be returning here.
