Arrived
at
the
hotel
around
6:30
,
booked
dinner
for
8
,
everything
seemed
fine.
Quickly
dumped
bags
in
room
and
spent
hours
at
the
park
outside
with
my
son.
Then
had
dinner
and
returned
to
the
room.
ROOM
4
is
the
room
in
question.
To
start
with
I
was
alerted
to
a
large
bug
crawling.
It
definitely
didn’t
fly.
My
son
stamped
on
it
when
it
hit
the
carpet.
I
then
decided
to
look
further
at
the
bed
where
I
had
first
noticed
this
crawling
insect.
What
a
surprise
!
There
was
15+
moving
insects
which
looked
slightly
black
and
white
with
antlers.
They
were
literally
tiny
but
eventually
noticeable.
We
grabbed
our
bags
and
headed
to
reception.
I
informed
the
receptionist
I
was
sorry
to
bother
him
but
there
appeared
to
be
ants
in
the
room.
He
came
and
checked
and
identified
MORE
on
another
bed!!
He
offered
us
to
change
room
but
there
was
none
available
so
I
accepted
an
offer
of
a
nearby
premier
inn.
But
unfortunately
the
closest
was
Manchester
or
Liverpool.
I
have
never
been
in
they
places
before
and
it
was
23:00.
I
was
a
single
parent
alone
with
my
6
year
old
and
anxious
to
make
this
move.
I
explained
this
and
was
told
it
would
be
fine
to
sleep
in
the
room.
He
would
change
the
bedding.
I
had
to
decline
this
offer
as
it’s
unhygienic
and
would
pose
a
risk
to
myself
and
my
sons
health
as
it
would
anyone.
But
much
to
my
amazement
the
receptionist
informed
myself
and
my
6
year
old
that
we
must’ve
brought
the
insects
in.
It’s
absolute
cheek
from
a
male
who
is
supposed
to
work
with
compassion
care
and
help.
Maybe
insects/ants
are
usual
for
him
but
they
are
not
for
myself
or
my
son.
I
personally
only
booked
premier
inn
as
I
thought
I’d
have
been
in
a
safe
and
clean
hotel.
This
trip
has
unfortunately
put
me
off
ever
booking
any
premier
inn
again
as
I
now
know
I
cannot
be
guaranteed
a
clean
or
safe
nights
sleep.
I
dread
to
think
how
myself
and
son
would
have
been
had
we
not
noticed
these
insects.
As
for
the
male
at
reception.
He
knew
we
had
no
car
and
to
see
a
young
mother
and
child
on
the
street
at
23:00
in
a
strange
area
is
unacceptable
I’d
think.
His
mannerism
was
aggressive
intimidating
and
rude.
When
I
got
to
the
safety
of
a
new
hotel
via
taxi
I
was
relieved
that
I
was
now
safe
and
not
near
this
“crazy
man”
as
my
son
is
now
referencing
him.
Absolutely
horrific
scary
time!!
Changed
my
mind
forever
on
hotels
and
even
leaving
home!
I
will
never
use
premier
inn
again
for
a
usual
“hassle
free
clean
safe
sleepover”
