Arrived at the hotel around 6:30 , booked dinner for 8 , everything seemed fine. Quickly dumped bags in room and spent hours at the park outside with my son. Then had dinner and returned to the room. ROOM 4 is the room in question. To start with I was alerted to a large bug crawling. It definitely didn’t fly. My son stamped on it when it hit the carpet. I then decided to look further at the bed where I had first noticed this crawling insect. What a surprise ! There was 15+ moving insects which looked slightly black and white with antlers. They were literally tiny but eventually noticeable. We grabbed our bags and headed to reception. I informed the receptionist I was sorry to bother him but there appeared to be ants in the room. He came and checked and identified MORE on another bed!! He offered us to change room but there was none available so I accepted an offer of a nearby premier inn. But unfortunately the closest was Manchester or Liverpool. I have never been in they places before and it was 23:00. I was a single parent alone with my 6 year old and anxious to make this move. I explained this and was told it would be fine to sleep in the room. He would change the bedding. I had to decline this offer as it’s unhygienic and would pose a risk to myself and my sons health as it would anyone. But much to my amazement the receptionist informed myself and my 6 year old that we must’ve brought the insects in. It’s absolute cheek from a male who is supposed to work with compassion care and help. Maybe insects/ants are usual for him but they are not for myself or my son. I personally only booked premier inn as I thought I’d have been in a safe and clean hotel. This trip has unfortunately put me off ever booking any premier inn again as I now know I cannot be guaranteed a clean or safe nights sleep. I dread to think how myself and son would have been had we not noticed these insects. As for the male at reception. He knew we had no car and to see a young mother and child on the street at 23:00 in a strange area is unacceptable I’d think. His mannerism was aggressive intimidating and rude. When I got to the safety of a new hotel via taxi I was relieved that I was now safe and not near this “crazy man” as my son is now referencing him. Absolutely horrific scary time!! Changed my mind forever on hotels and even leaving home! I will never use premier inn again for a usual “hassle free clean safe sleepover”

Wow! The hotel is nice and clean and functional. The Brewer's Fayre next door is good. However the staff there are on another level. We accidentally left my 15 year old daughter's teddy she's had since she was born in the hotel and it was returned to our house with a beautiful note. Really went the extra mile and showed a heart of gold. Well done. Stuff like that really makes the difference. Martin

Yup. This did the job very nicely for me. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Friendly staff. Pub/food immediately next door. But nothing else. On an industrial site. Anything else is a drive away. Oh, and it has baths. I do love a bath. Especially since we turned our bathroom into a wet room. I miss that bath. I really do.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. I booked everything online which was super easy. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff at breakfast seated us straight away and we’re always restocking plates and glasses. Would visit again.

Pros: very nice and helpful staff. The rooms are cleaned and the bed really comfortable. Cons: the internet connection is really bad, I couldn't work while I was there. You have to ask for fresh towels, I stayed 4 nights and they didn't change the towels or clean the room unless I asked for, I understand this procedure for one night or two, but for all week without cleaning or new towels.

Lovely overnight stay. Clean, comfortable and very quiet, a perfect place to stay for a visit to Liverpool. The bathroom looked as though it had been recently renovated, a lovely large shower, new sink and toilet. I would be very happy to stay here again.

VERY friendly staff, good selection of food and the rooms are great. A lot of things about the area also, so very handy.

The best Premier Inn I have used, excellent service from the man on reception (Evening of 10/8/23), very clean room and environment, good price and staying overall made easy.

Usual good quality rooms and situated next to Brewers Fayre restaurant and it was very quiet spot overnight. Good to see they provide EV charge points but not so good that they are only 3.5kw and have a substantial surcharge after 3 hours.

Can't really knock a Premier Inn. Always clean and comfortable, ideal location just off M6. I stay here when going to Anfield for football. 20 minute drive to Liverpool, and much cheaper than staying in the city.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Although the card didn't work in the evening when we got back in on the 1st night. The receptionist re programmed it and it worked for the rest of the stay. Woke up 5.30 ish with the dustbin lorry emptying bins. Took a while for the water to get warm on the 3rd day. Would stay again if in the area.

Not bad, basic Premier Inn experience. Room could have been cleaner (TV remote was sticky, carpet had skin flakes 🤢). Excellent flow rate in the shower! Staff friendly and helpful. Attached pub/restaurant an exercise in mediocrity, but you knew that already.

Bulk standard premier inn place. Large, clean comfy room. Very very quiet. Next to a pub chain restaurant.

Hotel is just your standard Premier Inn. Newly refurbished with showers rather than baths. However, doesn't seem to be soundproofing between floors and kept being woken at 6am by the elephant staying in the room above. My biggest issue at this location is Premier Inn Staff allow smokers to congregate in the small doorway area between the hotel and the restaurant. As a non-smoker this I felt was disgusting, every time I left or entered the hotel I was greeted with a face full of smoke. During my week here, this hotel and restaurant is the only time I came in contact with people and possibly due to all the smokers at the front door have returned home with Covid.....

Convenient location, clean rooms and the usual Premier Inn amenities. 2 stars removed for: - truly abysmal free WiFi. Maybe a ploy to force people to buy the upgrade. As my phone signal was non-existent in this building, this was a real pain. - the car park and entrance feel a bit old-fashioned and strangely cramped. Photos attached show the comparative speeds of the free and ‘ultimate’ WiFi.

checked in for the day.amenities were good, room is clean. bed so soft but pillows are too stiff & high (for my neck) price is ok for a good nights sleep. the hairdryer is a sloooow thing. they provided a fan for our room which was good in case we need it. its got a play area outside and near the M6. fantastic!

Room was very good. Clean. Comfortable. Food at Brewers Fayre was acceptable for what you pay. Usual story with restaurants lately though, service a bit slow as not enough staff on

I spend a lot of time in hotels with my job last year I spent 220 days in different hotels all over the UK and Europe. I ended up being dropped off at this priemer inn by mistake in a taxi although it was the wrong branch of priemer Inn the hotel receptionist (Shaylagh) told us we were in the wrong place made us a cup of tea and offered to try and change our booking so we could stay, because of the distance we could not stay so she sorted out a taxi very helpful, friendly, professional a credit to Premier Inn.

Standard Premier Inn with good size room and clean and tidy as usual in Prem Inn. Beds super comfy and good shower over bath. Attached Brewers Fayre great value for evening meal and also used for breakfast. No issues and excellent location near M62. One of best Prem Inns we have experienced.

Really great room - clean, good facilities, comfy bed, and large TV. Bathroom really clean with a powerful shower. The attached restaurant is ok - I had breakfast - but otherwise no other facilities nearby and no good run route. Very close to motorways so good for commute.

Stayed there 21st May. Bought ultimate WiFi as an extra, but wouldn't work in room. Called Virgin media as suggested, absolutely no help. 4 times promised to call me back with a technician. Never happened... The guy on reception at the hotel kindly tried also, but to no avail. In the end, he helped us move room😊 So i want to give that staff member an A* for being so helpful. Much appreciated 👍🏼 He was very helpful..

Comfy room. Comfy bed. Nice and clean. Black out curtains actually work. Pity they are stingey with initial supply of tea etc. Only two T Bags. Once in my pj's I noticed I was out of tea but didn't want to go back to the desk like that. Only real down side was lack of air con. On the ground floor so didn't feel secure having window open overnight.

Great hotel for the value. Abit disappointed as I wanted a family room for me, partner and kids but nothing available. On the day as had to get kids looked after we were in a blooming family room just me and my partner! Food menu at premier inn is hardly anything as all crossed out.
