I have just had the worst meal ever here, waited ages before a waiter came to our table so ordered drinks & bread while we decided what we wanted. The drinks came quickly but over 45 minutes there was still no sign of the bread, we asked a waitress who was lovely & explained she had just started her shift but got us bread straight away. At this point we realised that the original waitress had left & obviously not bothered to get the bread for us, I ordered seafood platter which was so bland even after I put lots of salt on, it wasn’t very hot & consisted of a plate full of shell. The langoustine had NO meat on whatsoever so these are purely for display, you don’t get a side so apart from the small about of fish that is all so I was actually hungry leaving here. My son ordered meatballs & spaghetti which was just spaghetti & mince, hardly any sauce so he left it. The staff here are very nice but for what you pay for the food you would expect better, my other son had seafood pizza which he did say was delicious & it looked nice. Spent £100 on our meal & have had to order a takeaway, just not on at all. The building is beautiful, it’s just such a shame about the slow service & poor food.

Can. Not. Believe. It. It was a amazing experience with great service with yummy food, my main thing was the oysters and seafood because they were my favourites and it was amazing also the desert tiramisu was amazing! Definitely recommend this place!

What a gorgeous, fantastic place to have drinks! We went for our anniversary for drinks for the 2 hours you are booked in for. If we could have stayed longer (we may have been able to we didn’t ask we had reservations elsewhere) then we 100% would have! Absolutely stunning surroundings, so cosy, modern and comfy! Heaters all around for when it’s chilly, roof will come over or go back when nicer weather. Prices for what it is are reasonable, and the waiter there Gary is amazing! Made us feel so at home, took pictures for us and made sure our glasses were never empty full respect for him he loves his job and is amazing at it. Already planning to come back and can’t wait couldn’t recommend it more

A must visit in Warrington. After a car show we did not know where to go. The booking was taken by Juliana. Which was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is set in a beautiful historic of the remaining of the Treasury building. Situated above Las Ramblas in the remainder of the Treasury Building, is San Lorenzo, Charlie’s Cicchetti Bar and The Terrace. Combining genuinely authentic Italian cuisine, cocktails created by our resident mixologists and Venetian small plates, it’s a place people have come to love. With our open kitchen, wood-fired ovens and the unique marble bar, guests enjoy a truly unique and decadent Italian experience. From Venetian Bellini, freshly prepared pasta to Sunday Roast Family Feast. The kitchen given an interest flavour of how the food is prepared with care and cleaners. Peter served us with great courtesy and professional manners. The menu is so varied that will suit any taste. Wealchair accessible and lifts are available.

Had a fabulous meal there for my 40th birthday. A beautiful set restaurant with lots of character. The food was delicious and an excellent choice on the menu. Will definitely visit again.

We chose this because it was situated in a beautiful building and had great reviews. It is a stunning building and has been beautifully restored. Inside it has an upmarket feel to it but is unpretentious... We were greeted on the door and then taken upstairs, what an incredible space The menu is really nice not too many of anything... Around 10 pasta, same pizza, not just the traditional some a little different which was really nice I had the linguine gamberetti and my other half had a steak Diane which was extra special and the chips.. Well every restaurant should make chips like these!! We loved the whole experience and then ended up on the rooftop bar for cocktails... Perfect Excellent service fromm all the staff

Thank you for the wonderful evening. Ella, Lenna, Andrea was so kind and professional. On the other day Fleix was our server, he is made us feel welcomed. The food was amazing. It wasn't our first visit and it will be not the last. See you next time! ❤️

Beautiful place! We hadn't booked but they managed to fit us in, even though it was busy. Best lobster bisque to date 😍, well worth the money. Only slight downside was the man at reception was quite full on, headset on and running round telling staff off for things while we were stood there 🤣. Didn't put me off I will be back

Lovely meal before a gig tonight at Parr Hall. Nothing was too much for the staff. All food was amazing although seafood platter was quite a hefty task to complete but flavour was second to none. Not sure about the Ice cube's in the urinals but it made topic for conversation none the less 🤣 definitely recommend and will definitely be back

I have seen this traditional British dish many times in photos and friends' sharing before, but this is the first time I taste Sunday Roast. This is the most beautiful I have ever seen. It is colorful and thoughtfully placed, unlike a plate of coffee-colored things that I have seen in the past. Even though we have to drive an hour and a half to get there, I think it's definitely worth it. They are very friendly with animals and are appreciated for their kind and professional service ♥️♥️♥️♥️

My family and I celebrated my birthday here this evening. The food was gorgeous, the atmosphere was great and we felt well looked after by the team. I love the decor and the open kitchen. To finish our night they served a dessert with a candle in to wish me a happy birthday. Highly recommend this restaurant for a special night out. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful setting, lovely building. Food was average except the chips which were really good. Ordered the chocolate souffle which was undercooked, I should have sent it back really. Service was ok, had to wait a long time to get and pay the bill.

Great staff. Lovely space inside the treasury building, with fantastic food. It's not cheap, but you pay for quality.

This week’s Wandering Wednesday took Hubster Neil and I to San Lorenzo….. good job we booked a table too!! Entrée: We both had San Lorenzo’s signature meatballs, fried and stewed in tomato sauce and torn basil….. sprinkled with loads of Parmesan, the dishes were so tasty and pasta cooked to perfection! So, so nice…. To share: we ordered a Calabrese pizza, tomato sauce, mozzarella, salami and ground Italian spicy sausage….. perfect to mop up pasta sauce! Also….. Caesar salad: gem lettuce, pancetta, Italian cheese and soft boiled egg and Caesar dressing, croutons, ordered with added chicken, there was loads of chicken too….. This restaurant is spotlessly clean, our server, Rita was so professional, extremely courteous, attentive with a lovely smile…. We will be returning 100%

San Lorenzo deserves to be one of the best restaurants in Warrington. Lovely atmoshphere, the staff is professional, welcoming and friendly. The food and presentation was really great, the prices might be a bit higher than other restaurants, but you really get what you pay for! The profiterole was a bit disappointing, the pastry was dry, the ice cream is pretty basic. Other than that we had a loverly time at San Lorenzo. There's cheap meal options as well, we'll definitely be back!

Beautifully developed listed building, excellent menu choices, great service and fantastically flavoursome food. We had the surf and turf sharer of a whole lobster thermador and fillet steak with sides of garlic mushrooms, long stem broccoli with garlic and chilli and a fresh salad - it was absolutely gorgeous!!

Had a fabulous time on Saturday afternoon. Vegan pizzas were phenomenal- way above anything I’ve ever had whilst eating out. Freshly made with a great base on each one. Thank you for that. Service was superb, and a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
