Had my 40th birthday . Was 16 of us an could not fault it . Absolutely loved it amazing food an the staff couldn't do enough

So after recommendation we decided to try Spicy Ginger this evening. Placed an order, delivered within the 45 minutes quoted and rather inexpensive, especially when establishments seem to be screwing the customer with prices some 50% higher than 18 months ago. So, I was impressed. Initially. Vegetarian Tikka Massala shouldn't be just potatoes and peas, the Lamb Bhuna was tasteless and so the meal did nothing to make us think we should go there for a meal or use Spicy Ginger as our regular takeaway. It's a shame, we're happy to pay for good food, sadly Spice Island in Bolton is obviously too far away. Take some advice, it's not all about price. Get the food right with the service and you're onto a winner. Lamb Bhuna, isn't pieces of Lamb in your standard curry (gravy) try adding a few spices, excite us, throw a mix of veg into the vegetarian Tikka Massala. I make a decent curry at home, being of two generations ago Sri Lankan heritage I can cook. Please do try harder.

Very good value for money with a 5 course meal for a little over a 10er. The food was nice but not up to the standard of a lot of other Indians I've been to, not as spicy, a little watery and the chicken wasn't tikka even though I asked for it hence the mark down but the staff were very nice and the restaurant was clean and tidy.

Been the pub and got tanked up, stumbled in to the place after wanting a curry! Only went in for a Take away but seeing as I was there and had nothing else to do. I got a pint of cobra £5.50 but at half nine at night can not complain, then thought sod it I'm out I'm here may aswell sit and have my curry! And oh boy I got a chicken pathiea with chips and the curry was beautiful! The spice to flavour was unmated! Not a single but of grease just a good curry with fresh chips! Would of loved to have seen the place packed! Would 100% recommend! Loved it!!!⁷

We decided to eat out this Christmas day and we weren't disappointed. Food and service was amazing! Great atmosphere, obviously a very popular place. Catered fantastically for our 2.5 Yr old. Thank you!

Had a takeaway from Spicy Ginger and it was good and arrived promptly. Ordered via their website. Spicy fries are really spicy and worth getting.

Fresh food, fast delivery. First time ordering from here and I’m amazed I got the meal for 1 at £10 and my husband got chicken chaat and chips and it was gorgeous. Deffo my new fave curry house

We had a takeaway delivered and everything was spot on. The poppadoms were fresh and tasty, our puri starters were not too greasy, very fluffy and the fillings were cooked to perfection. And then the mains and sides were full flavour, well-cooked and had the right amount of spice too.

Very friendly staff. Knew all about large gluten free choice on the menu. Very tasty speciality dishes. Excellent value for money. I would highly recommend 👌

Yesterday me and my family visited Spicy Ginger restaurant, The food was very bad and tasteless, I ordered a chilli panner they serviced fried 4 panner pieces with chilli sauce, they didn't know about chilli paneer recipes, the curry was no quality and no taste, They didn't know about the Indian food, taste and recipe, and serve food only Indian name, I never recommend this restaurant, They spoil Indian food and India's name.

Ordered a takeaway for the first time from here. Meal for one. Seekh kebab starter was nice, ordered chicken tikka curry for main. chicken was tasty, however the sauce was watery and didn’t have much flavour to it at all.

Very welcoming establishment with some great dishes and a great value Sunday to Thursday menu offer. Always leave here satisfied after tasty food in a friendly environment.

Lovely food as always, food delivered ten minutes earlier than expected which was brilliant service 👏👍
