Lovely area with interesting history and heritage. Unfortunately some low IQ vandals have defaced the signage to try erase "whites" from history in some sort of short sighted quest to change the past. It's bizarre that we even tolerate this type of divisive and unpatriotic behaviour. Vandals should be prosecuted

Gorgeous spot. Great views of the ocean. We even saw a whale! 🐳 also a lovely historic monument. As a Harry Potter fan, there was also a fortress for Wizards Unite, which could entertain the kids while you whale watch!

Beautiful beach to run the dog off the leash, away from cars & most other hazards. However, the waters here are very rough though, so we were concerned about a potential doggy rescue needing to occur, let alone our children who find it hard to stay out of the water. Give it a whirl but make plans 🙂

If you're wanting a good leg work out with a view, Granny's Grave is perfect - soft sand, nice inclines and some great waves.

Exactly as expected, nice memorial, nothing over the top, nice signage and explanation of the history of "granny" and the significance of the site and person

Great beach, historically insignificant landmark. No disrespect to the relatives of the person whom the grave is for, but the site is extremely significant to the first nations people of Warrnambool for other reasons.
