We recently stayed here and I’m not sure if I’ve ever encountered such rude and uninterested reception staff. Upon check-in, it was obvious that the attendant didn’t want to be there and wasn’t interested in doing her job. The hotel gave us possibly their worst room despite the Marriott app showing we’d been upgraded (we have titanium status). Upon returning to reception to inquire on this matter we were greeted with blatant eye rolls and looks of disgust across the two staff members. (So much for the value of loyalty). In general, the hotel is dated, but adequate. Our upgraded room was considerably better (jr. suite) however the standard, was dark, musty and old. The pool/gym/sauna is very nice. Breakfast is very good and the club service is excellent with heavy appetizers in the evening hours. For the price, it was an average value. It would be better once renovated, seems like that may be underway. Definitely a service problem - hope that gets addressed!

The hotel is a mixed bag experience. Let me start with the fantastic: Mrs. Idalia, one of the managers, is like no one else I have ever come across in a 5 star hotel. She is a very warm person who treats the customers with extreme respect and is super friendly and helpful. She is actually out in the lobby talking to and helping guests personally a lot of the time. That is something I don’t see in other 5 star hotels around the world-congratulations Mrs. Idalia! Unfortunately, even though the hotel is generally pleasant and offers a very comfortable stay, the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. For one, the staff is not very friendly or helpful. I went to the front desk to renew my card twice and they still weren’t working which resulted in us being stuck in front of our room in robes after a pool visit. None of the staff, front desk or cleaning, were too concerned about guests locked out of their rooms even though we went back to the front desk and called the hotel from in front of our room. When I reported it to ALL the front desk staff at check out, I didn’t receive an apology and one (in glasses) was actually talking back to me! Luckily, the matter is behind us and will be a topic of laughter for years for us, but the hotel needs to retrain their front desk staff before they start losing customers! We will be back as we miss talking to Mrs. Idalia and the lobby restaurant and roof top bar service is exceptional.

It's a lovely place right in the center of the Polish capital. From the upper floors there is a fascinating view of the center of the capital Warsaw, an extraordinarily beautiful city with extraordinarily kind and good people. The service is impeccable. For the convenience of the reader, I also present a short official description of the Marriott company: ”Marriott International, Inc. is an American multinational company that operates, franchises, and licenses lodging including hotel, residential and timeshare properties. It is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland. The company was founded by J. Willard Marriott (1900–1985) and his wife Alice Marriott (1907–2000). Marriott is the largest hotel chain in the world by the number of available rooms. It has 31 brands with 8,000 properties containing 1,423,044 rooms in 139 countries and territories. Of these 8,000 properties, 2,149 are operated by Marriott, and 5,493 are operated by others pursuant to franchise agreements. The company also operates 20 hotel reservation centers. Marriott International, Inc. was formed in 1993 when Marriott Corporation split into two companies: Marriott International, Inc., which franchises and manages properties, and Host Marriott Corporation (now Host Hotels & Resorts), which owns properties.”

Old style establishment. Rooms need improvement. Service level staff deserve 5 stars - friendly and accommodating (restaurant and room cleaning). Middle management deserves none - simple concern becomes major issue beyond with no ability to resolve anything.

Very rude door man standing out for no reason at all didn't hold the door for me as i entered and it was clear that my hands are busy with the luggage i was carrying the least he can do is help unload the luggage from the taxi , i reached at 3:00 which is the check inn time and the receptionist asked me to wait 1 more hour with no apology or upgrade to make the guest feel better it didn't end there i left my luggage at the hotel storage the guy picked it up with out even saying a word he didn't even smile such rudeness is not what i suspect to see in a 5 stars hotel as i went back to my room my luggage was there and damaged i do remember handing it in one peace . I had to check out the next day due to this bad service even check out was complicated i had to wait for them to send some one to check the mini bar and that took a long time mean while the receptionist started helping out other guests as if she was multi tasking i tried explaining the luggage situation to a manger at reception she didn't even listen to the complaint just interrupted me while i was talking as if we where in a debate .

Amazing view 🤩🪟, best location in city center. You can always find your way back to the hotel by looking at the sky. Nice service and kind employees. The swimming pool is open for enough time.

Love the location which is right by the train station. Love the atmosphere and the breakfast is amazing with a very wide variety of food. The sky bar is definitely worth visiting on the top floor enjoying a drink and look over the whole city of Warsaw! You can easily walk to everything around.

Rooms are very nice with a decwntly sized bathroom. Wish I could have taken my bed home with me it was so comfortable. Literally across the street from the train station and a short walk from old town. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and they have a beautiful sky lounge giving great views of the city. Drinks were a little pricey for Poland, but when staying at a hotel, you can expect that. Bartenders were competent, and the drinks came fairly quick. Spa was nice about what I have come to expect out of European Hotel Spas. Overall, I would definitely return and recommend that you visit the city.

The location is perfect if you are willing to have a panoramic view of the city of Warsaw. We were lucky enough to get our room in the 32nd floor with a city view that just made our stay extremely beautiful. The Gym, sauna, swimming pool and the breakfast buffet are really good and the best place where you can feel relaxed if you are in Warsaw for some business trip or a holiday tour.

It has the perfect location and good view points. But the building looks tired. Spa area will be closed for a long period. The breakfast is ordinary, some food is not fresh. Croissants contain too small butter and that’s why they are not yummy. The city loud makes you annoying at night

On 1st impressions, good, shown to table, asked what I would like to drink, then given what believed to be a smoked popcorn pot of lovelies! Very nice! Drink arrived, whisky old fashioned, cheaper than 40 floors below and far better!! The food options are like a tapas bar, my 1st choice are the tempura prawns, let's wait to see how good these bad boys are!!. The place is busy straight away, good for them, bad for the people!! The female waiting staff seem to be very concerned on how their hair looks!! Wafting it around like a new form of fashion! I have just asked to move from my table, I was directly above an air vent, things were getting cool!! No problem there. I've now just been informed my 1st choice of food is imminent, alongside a cheeky blood Mary that I have become a fan of!! Well the best I've ever had, tempura prawns were fantastic, mayo a real winner, A young staff member tells me the pulled pork Chinese buns are the way forward, so a nod, with a thank you, they should arrive in a few minutes, oh and another bloody Mary just showed up, extra Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce, 100% banging! All of a sudden the pork buns arrived, they looked good, smell good, let's give them a go. Wow!! Pork, slaw', mayo, what a winner! I'm going to leave this review here, The staff awesome, food awesome and drinks awesome! The easiest review I've ever had to do. Happy new year to all xx

Staff: super friendly and helpful Service: mixed. They are helpful but also communicate poorly. They helped order a taxi the evening before it was needed. In the morning, the taxi was not available and an alternative was 10 minutes away. Sucks if one has important meetings. Facilities: gym is being refurbished and moved into a conference room. Not really usable. Pool is closed till end of April 2024. Lounge: very sad in Location, Interieur, drinks and snacks Food: had room service once. Schnitzel was delicious. Rooms: a bit dated but the view from my room was amazing

Perfect location, in the heart of the city. The staff is very helpful, polite and professional. The food was excellent, international food but very good quality. They always offered fish in the menu, what is good point. I was there on a conference, the meeting room was well equipped and comfortable, and catering was well organized in the breaks.

Beautiful hotel at the heart of Warszawa with exceptional views of the city. Outstanding service, very clean rooms and lobby. The breakfast is phenomenal. Lots of shopping across the street at Zlote Tarasy; well connected to public transit.

Great hotel, room well equipped. Impressive view from upper floors. Breakfast bar extremely varied and hotel facilities in general very good. One of the most central and established hotels in Warsaw.

Great hotel, great rooms as all Marriott rooms - a plus for the awesome views the rooms have. Great breakfast - incredible how they handle so many people at once. It’s not getting 5 stars because the gym is awful. Very old treadmills and equipment. The pool/sauna are good

Good for a five star hotel with decent facilities. The things that let it down take away the extra star. It felt a little noisy from a mix of other guests and external sounds. Stayed during Christmas market period where the atmosphere felt odd with some strange clientele around. The room was king bed and good size, facilities are fine other than soundproofing maybe. View from 30+ floor does stand out and got to see snow over the town. Didn’t use the pool area or restaurants, but bar was a good experience. Staff were helpful when needed and cost of the stay was good relative to similar places.

Just 1 word... outstanding. I had the opportunity to stay on a corner room and enjoy the great view. I also would recommend the 2nd floor restaurant with good food. Room and services are simply great.

Nice hotel in a great location. Service has been great but 5 star service and rooms is a very high bar in my opinion, has to be something particularly outstanding and this is a Marriott, you expect it to be very good. That said the price here is a outstanding value for the level of service. Definitely would recommend

Rooms were quite old compared to the nice and recently updated lobby area. Breakfast was good. Streets and traffic were chaotic near the hotel, quite far (30ish min walk) from the old town area.

  • 4/5 Silviya M. 10 months ago on Google
Great location but the room felt outdated and in need of renovation and refurbishment especially the bathroom. The shower curtain is certainly not an attribute I expect at the bathroom of a 5-star hotel. The views from the rooms are amazing. The lobby, the restaurant (super breakfast) and the sky bar are great!

Massive credit card scam is in progress at this hotel. They charged me over a hundred dollars after check-out for stuff I didn't order and refused to return the money. It took me three long months of going back and forth with my bank to finally get it sorted. Do not let them touch your credit card under any circumstances or better avoid the place.

The hotel was approx 30min taxi from the airport and cost £20 Location is good. Plenty to do nearby and a shopping mall opposite I ate next door at a Greek restaurant which was really nice Inside the hotel is clean, staff are friendly and spoke perfect English. Room was well presented and maintained usual Marriot excellence. Breakfast for me was the standout. Really nice, multiple coffee machines which prevented crouding which most hotels fail to address. Lots of hot and cold options. My only improvement would be the gym. Very poor and lack of equipment. The modern traveller I belive expects good products and these types of traveller usually have underlying health issues. I would definitely improve here. overall though a high score from me. Value for money and comfort was great and I would recommend staying there if you visit Warsaw

We had a great time here. Staff was great and upon request when checking in we had a view of the cultural building opposite which was amazing. The Sky Bar was OK, didn't love my drink and we got shoved into an empty corner even though I had booked.. The pool wasn't very big but still nice for an early swim each day. The standout was the breakfast. Really great and as a vegan, I was amazed at the separate table just for vegan food! Location was great and we walked everywhere. Good value for money

My family and I stayed at the hotel from 8.6 to 13.6 for a family vacation and celebrating the birthdays of my wife and daughter. I would like to point out that from the very beginning it was evident that guest service is the hotel's top priority, the service is meticulous, pleasant and patient and the staff members speak excellent English. Upon receiving the suite we ordered, we were disappointed because it was an old-fashioned room with uninviting and modern furniture, which disappointed us greatly and I did not see how we could enjoy our vacation, which cost quite a bit of money, I turned to the receptionists, who directed me to a lovely lady named Idalya Kostrzewska, manager of the position, I must point out that I have never encountered the service Wonderful and high quality as she gave us - she changed us from a suite to a large and luxurious modern one for the entire stay, treated us like family and took care of my children's every need including organizing a special birthday surprise, this is the best hotel I have stayed at in Europe and the best service I have received in the whole world. From this moment on, this will be my regular hotel, that of my family and friends in Warsaw, and we can't wait to come back and stay with you again. I would like to personally thank Mrs. Idalya again

A very good hotel for come and go tourists who want to have some experience with the city of Warsaw and also for others. The rooms, rather than being somewhat old (and fine looking), they are good enough with the option of well made beds and very good and quick service which you could rely on. The location is very good, being at the center and giving a good view of the shape and nature of the city and everything in it. From it you could manage lots of the good places to begin in Warsaw and its attractions. The food is very good and fine for breakfast and with a good amount of variety (not sure how much vegans could have here, but if staying for just a day or two morning coffees and places in the city would be fine). It's a good spot near a dinners courses for people like eating outside (didn't try eating dinner indoors). I know there are lots of indoor activities, like a swimming pool and a sports room for everyone, and also dinner bar at the top of the building. You could sit there for needs of working and more at the lobby if needed (I assume there's a good service there) In a short sum up, this place is very good for having a good experience of Warsaw with the location, eating and different activities and quality. Recommended!

Great hotel in the center of Warsaw across from the train station and a mall. Walking distance to many things. As this hotel is larger it can be a bit busy in and around. Rooms: I have been fortunate to be upgraded to a suite with a king bed, couch and desk. Very comfortable space and perhaps the sleep I have had in European hotels and certainly in Warsaw. Bathroom is large with a view but has no place to hang your towels. Not a big deal but odd and not practical. Lounge: Very enjoyable. Great space and seating options. Tasty food in the evening with plenty to choose for beverages as well.

This is a very good place to stay. The location is at the center and the building itself is a landmark. A big hotel with a huge lounge but it was very crowded during cocktails hours. A good Marriott elite recognition with an upgrade. The room was good enough and it had the awesome view of the city of Warsaw. 10-15 minutes away (by taxi) to the Old Town, but it is close to a big shopping mall.

Very nice location, a very good team always ready to help. Breakfast is very good, and the restaurant, as well as the sky bar, are excellent too. The fitness and spa area are very good. Housekeeping Service is ver good and clean. Only the rooms are a bit dated and in need of modernization. For example, the old carpets in the rooms should be removed and replaced with laminate or tiles. Room furnishings should be updated, similar to the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw.

Even during the pandemic, this hotel makes sure that the 5-star is provided to all the guests and visitors. Protective measures are in place everywhere in public areas, hotel services remained uninterrupted the whole time. This is honestly the best place to stay in Warsaw if you are a tourist and don’t know much about the city. Its location, staff and services will make your stay much easier. Spoil yourself with their suites on the upper floors, you won’t regret!

One star for lovely hotel room and view however they have been scamming me and taking money off my card all the time and telling me they are some deposits despite already taking a deposit from me. Never touched the minibar or taken anything or destroyed anything, I stayed a single night and will never stay again.

I like the hotel... Have very nice view on the street and the hotel near the train station and also the mall... Can walk to the park and see the big building with the clock and have the museum and theater. The room was very nice and clean because I stay in 40 floor like hotel apartment with two floor and it's really amazing room... I can cook in the kitchen also and the staff very kind...Have a panorama sky bar which I like it also and bar near the lobby and have this casino too you can do gambling 🤭🤭 anyway this hotel really great to stay for holiday or even for business trip.

Nice bar with beautiful views on Warsaw city, and tidy rooms also with great panorama (at least in Delux version). Good location, close to Central Station, trams and buses - in the middle of the center, but to get to Old Town you need to commute for 25-30 minutes. Rooms tidy, as I wrote, but for me they are not 5-stars standards (more hard 3+ or 4, but not 5).

Great place to stay but starting to show signs of aging, had an incident with a gentleman at the reception once which was dealt with by management pretty well-still, was caught off guard with bad service in a place like this, the casino is nice if that’s your thing, breakfast could be better comparing to other Marriots worldwide, but the location and pool/jacuzzis are the best in town! Don’t miss the lobby bar too-the ladies there provide very good service and atmosphere, and the food’s not bad either. Finally, for a spectacular view of Warsaw by night, head to the swanky (and busy) rooftop bar.

One of the highest building in Warsaw and yes, Marriott quality and standard. There are not stars against, just my personal mindset do not prefer that style and size of the hotel. You do not feel and human being, just level of services and 20 years old design.

Wonderful experience, wish it was more than 1 night! Upgraded to top floor with incredible views of the city, phenomenal lounge and breakfast restaurant, incredible customer service provided by every employee I came in contact with. Another good thing is the old assistant manager is too gross. Complaining is useless. As long as the Chinese know the deputy manager is gross, the Chinese don't like him anyway. As long as you are lucky on that day, 100% will do. Find any reason to kick you out of the casino

Stayed at the Marriott in Warsaw for 4 nights and I have to say it's one of the best hotels I've visited so far. Location is great, close to some very nice places to eat, view is superb, it's nice and quiet, staff are friendly and the food and drinks are great! No complaints. I removed one star as the basic room is just that, basic and doesn't really bring anything new to the table but I've seen some of the higher grade rooms which do not fail to impress.

Super nice place but we expected more 😏 not all parts of the hotel were renovated and swimming pool was a bit small. Gym facilities were good. The best part was by far the breakfast. These guys nailed it the best! Loads of choice, super tasty, and even robot
