Our small group of coworkers had a great time at the pierogi class! This was great way for us to learn about Poland and try some local cuisine. My only critique is that there were lots of leftovers but no takeaway containers (the teacher offered plastic bags but that did not seem like a sanitary way to transport food). Hate to see such tasty dumplings go to waste!

It was a very delightful experience. María has strong knowledge in the art of Pierogis and she helps you step by step to accomplish your work. You will have all the ingredients and material you need to prepare your pierogis during the class. We really enjoy and we recommend that if you visit Warsaw, go and check in this class and have the opportunity to learn something new.

My husband and I had such a wonderful time at the pierogi making class. Maria was awesome, she is a great teacher and made the class fun and interesting. I am excited to make pierogi for my family when I get home. I would definitely recommend any tourists coming to Warsaw to come to this class.

It was delightful! I booked this cooking class as part of my company integration with foreign employees. We started with making dumplings - I didn't expect that I would have so much fun doing it. After that, we sat down at the tables, where everything was already prepared. The food was delicious! Maria was well prepared and professional. It was a great adventure and a fun way to get to know Polish traditions. I recommend to everyone!

Great lesson and a lot of fun! Maria is really kind and explained the process in detail. At the end we got to eat the pierogi we cooked and voted the best fillings :) She prepared a vegan option for me, as I requested it on advance. You cannot miss this experience if you are in Varsovia.

Absolutely LOVED this class! Maria is an incredibly knowledgeable instructor. She made the class so fun and easy. Everything was organized perfectly and we made some YUMMY pierogis! We loved that everyone in the class made a different filling, so we were able to eat so many different types. If you are in Warsaw this is a great way to spend an afternoon. We definitely recommend! 😁

We greatly enjoyed the pierogi cooking class here. The teachers were very friendly, helpful, and meticulous about the process. I liked learning to fold the different pierogi shapes. We also got to enjoy some Polish nalewki at the end of the class. Recommended if you’d like to get your feet wet with traditional Polish cuisine!

Generally not the nicest experience, expected a lot more. Had a feeling of constantly being rushed and looked at by a very strict teacher. The things to improve: - would be better if the filings were more traditional. - gloves, we were told to taste the pierogi filing with our hands, there were no spare teaspoons. - packaging for the leftover pierogi, they were directly packed in plastic bags. - cleaning while we were still there - gave us the feeling of being unwelcomed. - there could be some music during the class - it was too quiet. Nice things: - very good communication in English. - great location in the city center. - a follow-up email with pictures and recipies on the next day. It was a cool thing to do for foreigners, however the local people were not impressed.

Highly recommend the holiday pierogi class. We went through Polish Christmas traditions, made pierogi and sat down to a beautiful meal with our class. What an unforgettable experience!

Maria - what a delight your Pierogi cooking class was. The entire experience was fun, informative, quick, and a great way to get lost in the joy of making a local dish. Travelers, please take the time to do this! And, be sure to come hungry!

The Christmas class was such an amazing experience. Learning about the polish traditions along with the hands on lesson for making perogies was a memory I will always remember. I would highly recommend this class to anyone.

Fun activity. During the class we were shown the different techniques of how to make pierogi and the history of one of Polands staple foods. I was impressed with how well the class was run as we had a mixed group with different skill levels (total novices/experienced home cooks). At the end of class we got to try our creations. This was especially nice as we had all been given different fillings so we got to try a lot of variety. After class, we recieved reciepes and photos of the day. Overall a great experience. The provider was also very helpful. I had booked the wrong day and they moved us to another day which had availability with no trouble.

Had a cooking class here with Maria. It was so much fun. She is a real professional, taught us all the inside tips to make really good pierogis. After making the dumplings, we ate them all together. There were vegan, vegetarian and meat dumplings as well. She also packed us left over dumplings to be taken home. Photos were taken during the class and was shared the next day along with the recipe. When I finally open my own food truck, the pierogis would be the main item on my menu. Thank you Maria :)

The course was well paced, with excellent instruction, delicious food and my favorite activity in Poland. Thank you so much!

I wanted to take a moment to express my absolute delight and satisfaction with the Polish Dumpling Cooking Class I recently attended at Pierogi & More in Warsaw. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic experience. The instructors were not only knowledgeable about the art of making pierogi but also passionate about sharing their expertise in a fun and engaging manner. The hands-on approach to learning the traditional techniques of crafting Polish dumplings was both educational and enjoyable. I appreciated the attention to detail in explaining each step, and the friendly staff made the entire class feel like a gathering of friends rather than a formal cooking lesson. The variety of fillings and flavors we got to explore was impressive, and I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to customize my pierogi to suit my preferences. The ingredients provided were fresh, and the kitchen was well-equipped, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable cooking process. Moreover, the class didn't just end with the cooking; we also had the chance to savor the delicious pierogi we had created together. It was a delightful feast that truly captured the essence of Polish cuisine. Overall, the Pierogi & More cooking class was a highlight of my visit to Warsaw. I left with not only a full stomach but also with newfound skills and appreciation for the art of making pierogi. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a hands-on, enjoyable, and authentic culinary adventure in Warsaw. Thank you again for providing such a memorable experience. I look forward to trying out the recipes at home and, of course, returning to Pierogi & More in the future!

Fantastic. The class, the facility, the food, the fun what more can I say! Maria taught us so many great things about making pierogi. I’m sure my grandmother was smiling down from heaven. This was a highlight of our trip in Warsaw. Thank you for a great experience!

My team from work did an online class to make pierogis with Maria. My favorite part of the experience was being taught all the different ways to fold the pierogis. Maria is a great host who's very interactive and engaging, and she led us through a super fun time!

Hi, I had a very nice and kind experience with Maria ( who spoke French and English for us). The masterclass was fast but we learned how to make pierogi. It was yummy and funny ! Thank you, I will try to teach it to my family back home :)

Highly recommend cooking class! I booked this class as a part of a Birthday gift for my girlfriend and we both had so much fun! Maria and her assistant instructor were both very helpful to everyone even tho we were quite a big group. We laughed, we mixed some dough and some fillings and had lots of fun with the different folding techniques for making pierogi. Then we sat down and tasted all the varieties we made, and last but not least tasted some nice polish liquors. 2 hours went by super fast as it was very fun and engaging. Also there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

This cooking class is a must when visiting Warsaw!! My cousin and I had so much fun learning about the different ways to make pierogi. It was lovely to talk and laugh with others from around the world during the class. Of course the best part was eating them at the end 😁

We had a lot of fun with our friends learning how to cook pierogis. We were lucky to have a class in french with Maria !! Thanks a lot. And very nice to get the recipe to try it at home. The only star we have to remove... No fresh beers available :( That was a bit disappointing as the weather was VERY hot ! Otherwise very nice experience that I recommend !

Did the pierogi class last week....Tomek gave me some great ideas for pierogi I never thought of before...very informative! The place itself was very clean, welcoming...enjoyed every minute! Dzeinkujie!

Maria and Tomek kindly welcomed us into their cooking workshop and it was a great time. In addition to learning how to prepare the famous pierogi, we learned a little more about its history. And to end on a high note, the moment of the tasting was just as warm as the workshop. I recommend 😁

This is the first time we have ever done a cooking experience and I would highly recommend it. Nervous at the start, immediately put at ease by a great instructor and fully enjoyed the whole experience. Can’t wait to make these at home and for my family and friends. Repeatable if we ever return to Warsaw and fit in well after a visit to the Polin Museum as was an 8 minute walk away so served the lunch time pangs after a morning of culture and history!!

  • 5/5 Barbara J. 2 years ago on Google
This was the best thing I have ever done in Warsaw, and I highly recommend anyone visiting and even living in the city should do it! The teacher, Maria, is lovely. She teaches her cooking method thoroughly and always tells anecdotes throughout the class. There weren't that many people during the class (only 5 people!) and that makes the experience all the better. The class is extremely personalized, so if someone is vegetarian there is an option for that! I cannot stress this enough that this is an absolute must-do, right at the top of the list next to the Warsaw Rising Museum, Warsaw Museum, and Lazienki Park. And if you make too many pierogi during the class, Maria can give you a box to take it home!

My date and I LOVED taking this class. Fun, interactive, different, and WOW they tasted so good. We are going to make pierogis ourselves now, hopefully for many years. Thank you, Pierogi & More, your class was life-changing! 👏😬

Took this class with my mother while she was visiting and we had a blast. The beginning was a bit bumpy for me as we had a hard time finding parking which resulted in my being late. But Maria was so patient and helped me to get caught up. She was such a great instructor, very helpful and thoroughly explained things in a fun and relatable way. Our pierogi's were delicious and we were able to try everyone's at the end. We will absolutely be booking another class with her in the near future.

Outstanding experience! The instructor stepped us through the process with ease. Sanitary precautions were taken for our safety. The pierogi we're delicious. The follow up recipes and historical information will be very useful for making pierogi after I get back to the USA. I can't wait to have a pierogi party with my newfound skills. Book this! It was fun, informative and filling!!!

The Polish liqueurs class was amazing. This is just the sort of authentic experience which we are always looking for, but which is often difficult to come by. I encourage you to take one of the classes if you have the chance, you will not regret it.

The best thing about this class was the fillings that we used for the pierogi, they were the most delicious pierogi that I've had in Poland! It was a very fun and informative experience. A great way to spend an evening out in Warsaw!

A great experience! Maria was lovely and a good teacher. She told us all about the traditional Polish Christmas as we rolled out our pierogi. We’ll be professionals in no time thanks to her! Afterwards we sat down and enjoyed our creations and also tasted some flavoured vodka and Christmas treats. It was very enjoyable and felt safe regarding the covid guidelines. Would recommend!!

An exceptional tour with a very knowledgeable guide of both the food and the area. Maria was very well prepared and kept us in the loop, so we always knew what's ahead. She tailored the tour as we went on it, perfecting it to our needs and wishes in great detail. Do come hungry, because at the end of it you will definitely not be, and you'd want to try and taste everything. I highly recommend and will definitely also try a cooking class if, or maybe when, I come back to Warsaw. Thank you Maria for taking us around your old neighborhood!
