Dirty, slow service, cold coffee, mass produced food. Following our recent visit I'm struggling to think of any positives. Pretty much every table had dirty cups, trays and the remains of food. There were at least ten trays on the window sill waiting to be cleared away. No staff were attending to tables. Service was painfully slow and at times it was hard to tell if staff were actually moving. When we eventually managed to get two coffees they were luke warm. Pretty frustrating given that this is a coffee shop. Loads of cakes on offer, but all bought in. No danger of anything home made here. There are so many coffee shops in Warwick I'd recommend any of them over this place. Actually, I've thought of a positive point, it's dog friendly. That's it though. Avoid at all costs.

This is a lovely and big coffee shoppe located in Warwick town. There is plenty of indoor seating. The ambience is very rustic and vintage. The staff is friendly and helpful. The coffee shoppe offers a variety of teas, coffees, hot and cold drinks, bakery items and sandwiches. There is also washroom located at the premises.

We went after lockdown and we went 2 months ago and it was not so good. The service was slow and my mums drink was cold and they did say sorry but they did not say they would replace it. Costa coffee is better normally offer to replace it so why can't here.

Always really slow, they get bogged down every time a party of 8 want 8 toasties. My advice to the manager is to instruct staff to clear coffee orders and ask the food orders if they’d wait, instead they try to serve sequentially.

I had a delicious Portuguese tart! It was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside 😋 The atmosphere was nice and the cappuccino was creamy and smooth 💕 The reason so gave 4 star is because as you can see the marks and the dirty plate my tart was on ☹️✨🌈 hi

I have to say that my recent experience has to be the worst ever in Coffee 1. The staff working didn't care, were slow, lacked basic customer service and had a smile that could curdle milk. I believe the manger for the day was just washing up and looked just as un interested as the rest of the staff. I won't be visiting again.

Came here two days in a row as the atmosphere was really welcoming and warm which was a juxtaposition from the cold weather outside. Brrrr. Not only was the atmosphere. food and coffee exquisite, the staff were unfaultable! I would like to mention specifically a young lad called Alex. He was very friendly and he made my experience at this cafe top notch! would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone.

Excellence large comfortable venue, wide range of snacks sandwiches cakes and drinks - Toilets available. Wheelchair/Pushchair easy access. Slightly out of centre location but worth the 2 minutes walk.

It’s part of Nero but Coffee#1 has always been a great coffee shop and style of its own. However, the choice of Wi-fi supplier (with the detailed log-in from Sky, who only want ALL your details to sell) and extremely poor mobile data reception in Warwick, has prevented me from visiting very often, if at all.

Probably the best coffee around. We've been to all the known coffee places and a lot of small independent ones, but Coffee #1 are really good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good options on food as well. Love the decor!

Nice place, mixture of old furniture book themed. Coffee in cardboard cups but good quality . Padded seat super battered and lumpy but others looked OK, so choose carefully!

Worst coffee house in area. Dishwasher has been 'broken' for over months supposedly justifying use of paper cups. Tables are infrequently cleared and staff spend more time chatting to each other than engaging with customers

The reason I gave 1 star is due to the experience I had with the staff. The lady who served me and my mum was particularly unfriendly almost to the point in which you felt you were inconveniencing her by asking for 2 coffees. When we got the coffee and went to find a table we realised we didn't have any sugar (we were not asked if we would like any sugar when we had been given the coffee). I went back to the counter and asked a man (think he was the manager) who was stood with a laptop where the sugar was. He looked at me enough to say why are you asking me?!? Basically as if it was below him to tell me where the sugar was! I then had to resort to speaking to the same unfriendly woman who served us and asked her and she replied how many do I want (they keep the sugars etc behind the counter). I got the 2 sugars I was after from Miss Unfriendly and went back to our uncleaned table. Basically the inside of the place if it was cleaned regularly is nice but the encounter with the staff was really poor. There are plenty of nice places to go for a coffee in Warwick with friendly welcoming staff and therefore I would advise to go elsewhere and avoid here.

Nice coffee shop in a nice spot. Allows dogs which is a bonus. Coffee is good but is not quite as good as Costa but the coffee shop premises is much better .

Poor service. Went at midday. Ordered 3 drinks. Paid with cash (£20note) they then realised they had no change in the till. So a member of staff ran to the bank! Came back as the bank was closed. So I had to have my money back so I could pay on card. This all took a good 10 minutes. Finally paid and got my drinks. No cutlery available to stir my coffee. No vanilla in my husband's coffee. The staff looked stressed out and under pressure so he didn't go up to ask for his vanilla shot.

Poor service, dirty mugs on all tables. Manager was rude, when asked for Wi-Fi code that didn’t work. Toilets were disgusting, almost to the point it made me sick. Coffee was average at best.

Service was terribly slow as only 2 people were working on the counter, almost all of the tables were dirty and needing clearing away. Coffee was nice but I got less than my partner and we ordered the same.

For hiding from rain. The cakes are not so good, and coffee is average

Quality coffee and enough choice to keep the most ardent aficionado happy with some interesting blends. Coffee is reasonably priced but not sure you could say the same about the food. £4.50 for a cheese & ham toastie (which only toasts on one side...) wasn't anything special and certainly not good value. Had it been extra thick bread and more than a single sliver of ham it might be worth the money. It's a dimly lit place, good if you want to hide away, but it feels like you're sitting in the library of some stately home, certainly not somewhere you could call 'homely.' Couldn't complain about the service, very efficient and friendly.

I went there on that insanely hot day. I am so thankful they stayed open while so many other businesses closed — thank you! We had iced teas and americanos—all delicious—and the barista was terribly sweet:)

Longish queue when we arrived but even with only two staff it moved really quickly. Don't know how they were so fast. Plenty of space and and plenty of comfortable chairs.

Great coffee Friendly staff Tasty toast Teacakes that are as big as your head so be prepared to take most of it home in a doggy bag Can get quite loud if your wearing hearing aids, which will make holding a conversation difficult I like the coffee so much I buy the coffee to have at home

We got a coffee after lunch. All of them were delicious (Capuccino, vanilla late, white mocca and piccolo). All the staff were very kind and nice, the place very cozy and we spend a good time while we enjoyed a good coffee.

Flat white far too hot, milk texture totally wrong and doesn't taste great either. Had to wait ages to order too despite three staff on. Jack's Shack down the road is a much better choice but it was closed on a Monday.

Waited 35 mins for two toasted sandwiches during a period that wasn’t even rushed. A wealth of staff making coffee but poor acceptance of missed food. As other came and went, we sat nursing cold tea/coffee (without offer of a top up). Delved into frozen realms upon the arrival of warm food but frosty waitress who seems to be the only one capable and the hardest working. Shame - been here before and the average coffee is usually made better by the room. We were offered a cake whilst we waited but who eats the pudding before the main?
