We just checked out today (8/2/2023) after staying for 1 week and we wish we could've afforded to stay another week. The cleanliness of the room that we stayed in (219) was remarkable! The service was absolutely amazing and the owners are very friendly people. The noise level wasn't bad at all considering being next to a fairly busy road and railroad tracks. We slept like babies. I particularly liked that staff kept the outside walkways and the parking lot clean EVERYDAY and I saw them picking up cigarette butts all of the time. They care about the property and the people staying with them. As we were leaving, the owner walked us to our car and thanked us for staying and welcomed us back anytime. Obviously it's a business and they want our money but the gesture was pleasant. If we are ever in need of another stay and can afford it, Motel 6 is where we will be staying. Thank you everyone at Motel 6 for a great experience!

Amazing rooms and helpful staff. They are doing new renovations to the place and I can tell that they really care about making it a desirable place to stay. Will definitely be back

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Motel 6 Hagerstown and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience. From start to finish, the staff was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the area and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable and the linens were fresh and crisp. I appreciated the modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV and high-speed internet access, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The location of the motel is also fantastic. It is conveniently located near several major highways, making it easy to get around town. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Overall, I highly recommend Motel 6 Hagerstown to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and affordable place to stay in the area. The staff and amenities are top-notch, and I look forward to staying there again in the future.

I decided to stay at this motel 6 again only because it is under new management. I can definitely see that the new owners have put in work with renovating the whole place. I checked in after 8pm with easy access into the property with their well lit parking lot. Staff was super friendly, i also got a complimentary 20oz bottle of pepsi. I felt at home as soon as I pulled up to the front desk.

The room was very nice looking. But the floors were so filthy my daughters feet turned completely black after walking around in the room for a couple hours. We went to the pool and it was full of a group of people who I'm pretty sure live in the motel and were cursing and yelling non stop at very small children. We had to leave the pool because of them. There was also no clock in the room.

Walked into a room that had 2 beds. The very first thing I noticed was that the blanket had cigarette burn holes in it. The walls were filthy and could have used a fresh coat of paint. Smoke detectors had no batteries. Air conditioner intake filter looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There were roaches running across the walls, and I swear the walls had bloodstains peeking through

I recently stayed at the motel under new management and was really impressed with the changes made. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

I hate to say that I even had to stay here. But hey, life is what it is. What I am happy to say is, this place was absolutely fantastic when it comes to a motel on the side of the road. This Motel 6 was very clean. The staff was very nice. The other people in the motel seemed to have some sense of common decency. My fiance and I were able to sleep peacefully after a very long and stressful drive. And our dog (who happened to tag along), was comfortable as well. The grounds were well kept, so she could run and play as she needed to. There was even a dog waste bag stand area for me to use. This place has no bells or whistles. Just a clean room with clean towels (although they were a little rough), a working TV with cable and nice neighboring folks. But for a motel, you aren't really asking for much more than that, anyway.

I usually stay at Motel 6 in my travels and overall very pleased with the customer service, price and overall atmosphere. This was my first visit at this particular Motel 6 located in Hagerstown, Md. and I wasn't as satisfied as other Motel 6 locations. One day they didn't bother to make coffee, if you advertise this service than it should be available. And my room was noiser than other Motel 6 locations that I haved stayed at. Decided to visit again 3 months later and again experienced customer service issues. Shubham at the front desk wanted to charge me more then my quoted rate. I told him that I would go to the Motel 6 in Charles Town and he decided to issue me a refund. The customer service at this particular Motel 6 is very poor. My next visit to Hagerstown, Md. I will stay at the Motel 6 in Charles Town or Matinsburg. But overall I am satisfied with Motel 6 as a whole.

There like fing 7 kids running around outside our door since 3pm it's now 9:42 pm they are screaming at the top of their lungs and sound like chimps. I saw a cockroach. Other than that it was suitable. But man is those keeps inconsiderate and annoying. There is no way people are not complaining to the front desk.

This place is a crack hotel cigarette burns in the comforter, on the bathtub. Mold in the shower. Hole in the shower wall. Bed was hard and soo uncomfortable. My husband saw 2 roaches while I was sleeping. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. NEVER AGAIN

The lady that checked us in did not seem like she was particularly happy to be there. The rooms are bad. The floors were sticky. We had to switch rooms because the first one was crawling with ants. There were even ants in the bed. We called the front desk and a nice gentleman switched rooms for us but the second room wasn't much better. Still had sticky floors and ants but thankfully not in the bed. I think the spider in the room kept the ants to a minimum. Could use a fresh coat of paint, updated bathroom, updated bedding and cleaned better. This is definitely the worst Motel 6 we have ever stayed in. There is a very run down camper sitting on blocks in the parking lot that seemed a bit odd. It is however located close to restaurants and a mall if you need to grab food or if you need to pick up anything while traveling. And it's right off the highway so it was easy off/ easy on. Those are the ONLY positives to this motel.

Room was very clean but the bathroom shower had a hole in the wall like someone kicked it. Music from the parking lot was very loud and the men was outside yelling and drinking in the middle of the day. Ended up not staying the night we just went to another hotel.

Poorly designed bathroom sink faucet. Shower not working.

Place looks homely main thing about the place you can only go one way in or can't turn left from the road or the driveway so you're forced right but you may not be direction you need to go

UPDATED 21 JUNE 2023: I have been charged for a room they were unable to check me into and had assured me would be canceled. I have phoned thebproperry 4 times, including today which had no answer, and am told they will address it but have not. AVOID THIS PROPERTY AS MY EXPERIENCE IS NOT DUE TO A SINGLE EMPLOYEE ON A SINGLE NIGHT. ORIGINAL POST: Had a reservation here and the clerk was unable to check me in. Told me to go sit in my car and wait but he didn't know when it would come back up. Said he had "no satellite". Had no options for me. Did not try to get me a room elsewhere. Could not confirm I would not be charged for the room.

Management and front office are very rude. Cleaning lady and staff are great that's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. Cockroaches in rooms and never any toilet paper. My girlfriend was harassed by the local drug dealers that live on premise. Definitely needs to be raided

Room smelled so bad of stale smoke that we could not stay due to that and no fridge for our medicines. We stay at many motel 6 hotels and this was the first one that had no in room amenities at all. The beds were old and sunken in, this was a visual inspection, as we didn't dare lie on them due the bed spreads being dirty and cut up in many spots. We like staying at Motel 6 as it is usually great for us and our dogs, but not this one.

I asked and thought i received a non-smoking room but it smelled of smoke. The 2 rooms next to mine had non-smoking stickers on the door handle but mine didn't. The guy at the desk may have made a mistake. However, I book online beforehand and expect to get what I booked. Great location. I've stayed here several times and never had a problem.

Front desk was very nice told me about check out, pool hours, where things where. Room was clean. Bathroom door wouldn't shut tho! I didn't notice on the website but there was no refrigerator or microwave! My kids liked the pool if your kids can't swim definitely take floats or life jacket! And check out was easy and they was very nice!

This is actually a travel lodge now, but the people are super nice. But our room did have a strange smell when we got in and the blankets in a non smoking room had cigarette burns. But all in all a good stay and fair pricing.

Old style hotel with outside entrances to each room. Ample parking lot, king size bed was fine. Good pillows. Hot water was great. Hardwood floors had some warps in them, but very clean. I didn’t like people sitting around a car near my room talking very loudly, but, probably not normal

We were traveling with 3 small children and it was late - 2am. We needed a place that was affordable to catch a few hours so we could safely continue our trip. The room was a great price. It was very clean and well maintained. They had an outdoor pool (we didn't use it). A nice perk was free coffee in the morning for the road. The staff was helpful and nice. Great price for a nice basic room.

This Motel 6 is in a great location and felt comfortable staying there! I noticed that it was pet friendly for those that travel with their pets. Mr. Foster was very friendly and welcomed us with a room; hospitality was awesome! He offered us information we needed about the area, and made us feel at home. Excellent service. Thank you!

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and bedding was clean - no signs of bugs in the room. Great quality for the price. Odd smell in (non-smoking) room and floor wasn't very clean.
