This
is
my
go-to
place
for
lunch
and
baked
goods
(and
pot
pies).
Located
across
the
Smith
Berry
Farm
(which
is
also
amazing),
South
Store
Cafe
is
surrounded
by
Oregon's
beautiful
agriculture
and
forest
lands.
The
cafe
gives
you
a
small
town
feel
despite
the
city
only
being
about
~20
minutes
away.
The
employees
really
make
this
place
special
with
their
kindness,
knowledge,
and
overall
positivity.
It's
always
nice
to
walk
in
and
see
familiar
faces.
The
baked
goods
are
consistently
amazing
and
the
pot
pies
are
so
easy
to
prepare
for
dinner
(and
are
so
delicious).
The
location
serves
amazing
drinks,
both
alcoholic
and
not.
They
also
feature
a
lot
of
goods
with
seasonal
ingredients
that
are
sourced
locally.
My
personal
favorite
menu
item
is
the
chicken
salad
sandwich
because
it's
the
best
in
the
word.
They
season
their
greens
and
cut
the
ingredients
with
care
to
ensure
that
no
single
ingredient
dominates
the
sandwich
(usually
celery
ruins
a
chicken
salad
sandwich,
but
at
South
Store
Cafe,
it
elevates
it).Recommend
adding
pickled
onions
for
some
extra
fun
and
deliciousness.
Anyways,
I
could
go
on
forever
about
why
I
love
this
place.
The
only
thing
that's
hard
to
capture
in
this
review
is
the
warm
and
amazing
feeling
you
get
when
you
visit
the
cafe.
From
the
little
elf
door
they
placed
on
a
tree
outside,
to
flowers
they
cut
from
the
garden
and
put
on
the
tables
inside
--
this
place
is
the
cutest,
quaintest
place
around.
100/10
recommend.
