I can't believe I waited so long to go here! It is now my absolute favorite breakfast place and the best part is it's right in wine country. The pesto biscuit with tomatoes and mozzarella was divine and I loved the white bean soup as well. They have a full espresso bar as well. The atmosphere is a vintage kitchen experience that I absolutely adored. Can't wait to go back again and again!

I appreciate the effort to make everything from search and from local produce. The service and friendliness of the staff were exceptional. The pastries are excellent but do sell out. The biscuits n gravy and croissant with bacon eggs n cheese were good and didn’t taste heavy. The oregon heritage sandwich had very tender pork in it but i felt there were too many different flavors and textures. Sometimes less is more. The chips that came with it were delicious and i suspect were home cut chips. The cappuccino was huge! The only thing i disliked was the americano. The americano was way too hot (guessing close to 210) and tasted burnt.

Every time we drive past it’s packed, so we got there 15 before opening this time and man was it worth it. The cases were full of the best looking pastries. Good selection of gluten-free. We had quiche, and the Strata, and will be back again. Friendly staff, and strong drinks. Had the Spanish coffee and the Bloody Mary. Even got some stuff from the case to take home.

Great little breakfast spot; delicious food, cute decor, kind staff, quality ingredients—they do it all very well. We tried the veggie breakfast sandwich, quiche & the Marionberry puff tart…so very tasty. If you are looking for a unique breakfast place, this is your sign. Don’t miss out!

This is my go-to place for lunch and baked goods (and pot pies). Located across the Smith Berry Farm (which is also amazing), South Store Cafe is surrounded by Oregon's beautiful agriculture and forest lands. The cafe gives you a small town feel despite the city only being about ~20 minutes away. The employees really make this place special with their kindness, knowledge, and overall positivity. It's always nice to walk in and see familiar faces. The baked goods are consistently amazing and the pot pies are so easy to prepare for dinner (and are so delicious). The location serves amazing drinks, both alcoholic and not. They also feature a lot of goods with seasonal ingredients that are sourced locally. My personal favorite menu item is the chicken salad sandwich because it's the best in the word. They season their greens and cut the ingredients with care to ensure that no single ingredient dominates the sandwich (usually celery ruins a chicken salad sandwich, but at South Store Cafe, it elevates it).Recommend adding pickled onions for some extra fun and deliciousness. Anyways, I could go on forever about why I love this place. The only thing that's hard to capture in this review is the warm and amazing feeling you get when you visit the cafe. From the little elf door they placed on a tree outside, to flowers they cut from the garden and put on the tables inside -- this place is the cutest, quaintest place around. 100/10 recommend.

This was our first visit to the South Store Cafe and we got there around 1:00 pm. There was a big line that was all the way to the door. However, it moved fast. The unfortunate part they were out of three of their weekend dishes, but we were able to try the madame croquet and the pastries. Everything was better than expected and worth the wait. Moreover, everyone from the person taking the orders to the our waitress were kind, patient and attentive even when they were working with a full restaurant. Definitely a place to be recommended just keeping in mind to be patient and understanding that good food comes at price.

Such a cute spot!!! We got there at 9 am on a Sunday and there was a line out the door. It moved fairly quickly and there was lots of seating inside. So cozy and food was delicious! Their pastry options are insane. I also loved all the gluten free and dairy free options ❤️❤️. Can’t wait to go back. It’s also right across the street from a berry farm which is fun!

A little crooked Cafe in the country, with perfect food and atmosphere. I have driven past this place 50 times or so and always wanted to stop. It’s busy nearly all the time, so it made me wonder what was drawing so many folks. Well, it’s everything. Amazing food, brunch type meals, cookies, cakes, pastries and of course, bloody Mary’s and mimosas! This is an old building, but the coziness of the atmosphere is so friendly and inviting. The staff is helpful, the quality of food is top notch and I must say, it made me miss my grandmothers creations from the desserts case. I will be back soon, closer to Fall and see what new seasonal creations they have. You guys rock!

What a gem. I feel like I'm a million miles from home when I go here. The welcoming feel you receive when you first step inside, to the content you feel upon a meal here are a real treasure to be had. They make incredible food from sandwiches to pastries and one hell of a latte. Go escape the city for a couple of hours, enjoy a meal, leave a pin in their map, and afterwords visit the Berry Barn across the street and then dare tell me that's not enough for a good day. If not, swing out to Midway Firehouse Pizza. This area rules...

This is a really cute, eclectic, and friendly cafe. Mostly a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot, their monthly Friday night dinner is a fun excursion. Excellent drinks, food, and pastries (traditional and gluten free) - you just don't always get them in the traditional order because everything comes out as it's ready ☺️ We can't wait to go back!

Came here for the first time and it has immediately moved into one of my favorite breakfast spots in the area! Really casual and quaint feel to the place, quick service, terrific food! Had the quiche, it had a ton of flavor and a sizable portion. The toast was perfect, fresh bread well toasted. The fresh fruit was a perfect touch as well. Also got a pastry to finish, I highly recommend getting that with a meal. Can’t wait to go back either for a full meal or just pasties!

The pastries here are amazing, best coffee around. I'm not one to usually order sandwiches- but they are 100% worth it from here. So tasty! On top of that, the atmosphere is so cute and cozy. Beautiful artwork on the walls, cute floral table covers and flowers all around. Definitely a place worth visiting, they'll have you returning in no time!

Writing a review for my favorite place to eat that I’ve found since moving to the PNW. This cute little restaurant is situated in an old home and has a wonderful cozy feel. The staff are lovely and literally everything on their menu is delicious - whether it’s a pastry, a sandwich, a cocktail, or a waffle - everything my family & I have eaten here has exceeded our expectations. It’s our favorite spot to take guests when they’re visiting us from out of town. 10/10 recommend.

This is a wonderful cafe! They have delicious food and drinks, although it took us a little while to get some of the food that we ordered it was definitely worth it! I was surprised by the amount of gluten-free options that they had, there were several types of baked goods, soups and sandwiches. Great place to eat while visiting the various farms in the area!

The South Store Cafe is a quaint and colorful restaurant set amidst the rolling hills and wineries. The decor is fun and functional. Staff is friendly. Interesting menu and giant homemade cookies.
