The billing department needs to be fired. I saw a doctor from UO about 15months ago. This is the same time I had had surgery at another hospital. All the other hospital billing departments submitted the bills in a timely manner. Not UO tho. I just got my bill from them, 15 months later. After some brief research I found that my insurance company has actually paid this bill in full. Not only is UO trying to double bill me and collect money twice they refuse to respond to any messages I have left them. The people who answered the phone said they couldn't even find my account since they have 3 different computer systems to navigate. The bill departments voice-mail is rude and says not to leave multiple messages because it's hard for them to track and their turn around time is 10-14 business days for a return call. The government moves faster then that. I dont know if this place is just being run by someone incapable of doing their job or they are actively trying to double bill patients. Be careful going here and triple check any bills before paying them a dime.

I filled out a VERY detailed medical history before the actual appointment. The practitioner I saw spent a lot of time with me explaining test results and treatment plans. The energy level in the office was at a high level; the staff members were all running at full speed. I felt very well taken care of, if a bit overwhelmed.

My experience was amazing! I dreaded starting physical therapy after shoulder surgery and I couldn't have asked for better treatment. Such a friendly and relaxed yet professional enviornment. Jonathan Wheelwright was excellent and I will highly recommend him to anyone needing physical therapy in the future.

Everyone is wonderful here! The staff out front are very quick to help you. and Doctor Rocco, is very professional, friendly and a great surgeon! Alex Rocco is very knowledgeable about Osteoporosis and in time I know she will help me so much! She's very kind. I just love her and her assistant Angie. Nick is my physical therapist. I'm going to be seeing him again for therapy, and I'm so excited! My daughter saw Jared, and she thought he was awesome! Utah Orthopedics cares about their patients. And it definitely shows. I wouldn't go anywhere else. 😊

Pleasant office personal. Even listened to my husband's jokes and still smiled. Dr. Jeffery Rocco is an nice doctor who puts you at ease, has great bedside manners, and explains things in a way for all to understand. Gives you options for dealing with your physical problem. VERY impressed with Dr. Rocco. He was recommended by another doctor and I recommend him to those seeking help in his field of expertise.

Dr. Rocco has performed 3 major surgeries on me: Hip replacement and both knee replacements. I can only use superlatives and praise for the most competent and caring provider I have been to in my life. He gave me exceptional education prior to all surgeries. The exact attention to detail continued with aftercare for all surgeries: pain was kept under control and medical equipment needed were ready and delivered PRIOR to surgeries. His capable Physician Assistant also went above and beyond in treating me: she reassured me and calmed my nervousness; she even held me in the operating room while they administered the block prior to hip replacement. The office staff have all been professional, capable and caring as well. Dr. Rocco is my go-to physician. You would be wise to select him as your orthopedic expert.

I began seeing this team in December of 2021 after breaking my hand while sledding with my children. It was a tough break in a pretty bad spot. Over the past year, I’ve been to their office 30+ times for therapy and follow-up. Their team is always professional, friendly and on-time. Front desk staff and schedulers are clearly always busy and working very hard - but still find a way to let you know they see you, and will take care of you as soon as they can. Dr. Illing showed exceptional dedication and skill as he repaired my hand and over the course of a few surgeries he has helped me achieve mobility in my hand I would have never thought possible. Their licensed hand therapist, Justin, is an amazing and patient professional. Hand therapy isn’t fun. It can be painful and sometimes feel like the progress is slow. Justin’s attitude and approach make it so much easier to endure what is necessary to heal, gain strength, and improve mobility. After 12 months I’m almost done visiting this amazing team for my care. My hand is close to normal, but more importantly it is completely functional. They helped me believe this was possible, and through their hard work and dedication (and a LOT of home care/stretching) they under promised and over delivered. If you’ve busted up your hand, you can trust this team to take care of you. Thank you for working with me, and helping me to heal!

Had my first appointment here today and was helped by Martin who was AMAZING. In addition to being extremely kind and welcoming, he was knowledgeable and informative and helped me get scheduled for surgery as soon as possible. Thank you!

Went in for a bone spur consultation with Dr Rocco. it was located on the outer joint of my big toe. After 5 minutes with Dr Rocco he advised that the only way to fix my bone spur is to also cut into my calf. I was very hesitant about that plan. He didn't explain why just made sure i knew he would not do the surgery otherwise. I called and left a voicemail to see if Dr Rocco would be offended if i just did the bone spur and not the calf. I did not get a call back but i did get a bill for $396.00. I was shocked that for 3 x-rays and 8 minute consultation that they could charge this much. I went to a different Dr for a second opinion and found out that to Cut the calf to fix a bone spur was not true per my Ankle joint was very bendable. I would not recommend Dr. Rocco. They did write off 25.00 dollars but it was still a waste of my time and money.
